In today's society there are no such things as superpowers. We have all been on that crazy side of youtube, the web and other media sources finding articles or videos claiming people to have superpowers. A fantasized conspiracy That we wished was true, but deep down... wish it not to be.
Lately there have been more and more of those videos and articles. Maybe the world was just fascinated with the idea? Maybe some are true? Maybe its the past trying to survive in the world we live in today?
Plot:
The idea of this rp is that all the characters live in a modern day society where people with super powers are only found in comics, stories, movies or tv series. Basically our real lives as is. But our characters start to develop actual powers..... Small at first and then grow depending on the character.

This will be a detailed rp, please make sure that you are willing to put out three or more paragraphs a post before showing interest.
Also this will be no child's play rp. No characters under the age of 15, no older than 35.
Some disturbing things will happen to each character and I will let you know what your characters limits are. Meaning you can choose their powers and such, but there will be limits and consequences to all character's actions. For instance... Your character can't just run around and blow crap up... That character will be hunted down... And eventually killed... Meaning I will kill your character and you will have to create a new one.
No you don't have to play a character with powers, you can play other characters. There is a special team that will eventually be formed to protect the world from these powered characters. No they will not have special powers... They will just be highly trained and skilled in normal attributes.
Now keep in mind that this rp will start off at the beginning. Where some may have had their powers for a short amount of time and have been caught using them, while others are just discovering their powers. These powers are not easy to control and some or most have a recoil. At least until they are able to control it some.
Once they are noticed for their power, they are a target, their family friends, everyone they know and love are in danger because of them. Because they are different and people think they could possibly be a threat.

Please don't show interest if you wont be dedicated to the rp. I wont track you down and I wont let the rp die because people randomly bail out with no warning. So if something is going on in real life... Tell me. If you don't and disappear for like a week... You are automatically dropped from the rp... I'm tired of these things happening in rps and I'm sure there are a lot of people tired of this too. This rp wont stand for it.
So if you know that you are not active weekly... Please don't show interest.....
