Welcome to NERVE! NERVE is your own personal reality TV show where you are the star, if you choose to be. In NERVE, there are WATCHERS and PLAYERS, the WATCHERS harmlessly watch the PLAYERS preform dares for the WATCHERS amusement. The PLAYERS do these dares for money, fame, and a slice at the big time. Most of the antics that happen in NERVE's eyes are often harmless. But recently, a month after NERVE's release to the public, a seventeen year old teenager died preforming a stunt for NERVE. As the story went to court, the court jury and lawyers ruled that the boy had nothing to do with NERVE, and it was a mere accident.
Or so it seems.
In the NERVE roleplay, based on the upcoming movie, you will be participating as a WATCHER or a PLAYER. The recommended option is being a PLAYER, mostly because as a PLAYER, you will see more of the story and experience more. But if you really wish to be a safe and not thrill-seeking WATCHER, we can talk about how you can contribute to the story.
The basic plot or idea I had for this roleplay was the not necessarily follow the canon events, but to make our own alternate story. My alternate story would mostly follow a group of PLAYERS, who have become so obsessed and drawn in with their winnings and dares, that they have become full time PLAYERS. The full timers have NERVE as their lifeline, it is their income and their life. But soon enough, our PLAYERS start getting more and more attention by some unwanted people. They are given more dangerous dares, pushing the PLAYERS to their limits.
That is all I'm going to give you, a teaser for now. If you join and if you make the cut, you will soon figure out.
I'm looking for:
Active and Dedicated Roleplayers: people who participate in the roleplay and don't flake on the roleplay or the other roleplayers.
Detailed and Creative Responses: I would like nice responses to make the roleplay more enriching and interesting. It gives more to the table instead of a two sentence response that leads nowhere.
Creative Characters: I want our PLAYERS to have an interesting backstory, personality, and just interesting characters in general. This can be determined by their sexuality or maybe their mental disorders. They got to become PLAYERS for a reason, and they're popular for a reason as well.
Helpful Roleplayers: Mostly what I mean is that I don't want rude and inconsiderate roleplayers, I want everyone to get along and work together so we can make this roleplay amazing.
