    Name: Sol R. Reigns

    Age: 14

    Gender: F

    Nationality: American

Personality: Efficient. A great deal self-absorbed. Light-hearted. Compassionate. Sol is a diligent worker. There are definite darker shades to her than there were before her mother died, but most of it is kept bottled away. There are many aspects of Sol society would find promising: her grades, her composure, her need to solve everyone's problems--often gaining doormat status in the process. Sol comes off mature for her age. At worst, her take charge attitude and positive disposition could be called bossy.

Her short fuse doesn't spark around just anyone. Sol crams her stress and attitude into a little dark ball until it erupts at inopportune times toward people who haven't really done anything. She'd rather ignore her problems than give them a voice. It would horrify her to show weakness in that way when the Children are supposed to be an epitome of strength.

At her core, Sol is a considerate, positive girl who happens to have the weight of the world on her shoulders.

History: Sol has a few pleasant, vague, unsatisfying memories of her mother. No audio accompanies them. Essentially, Sol's mom is a woman with billowy hair slumped on a couch arm, making origami of Sol's hair while television flashed in the background. It's her chief memento. The most vivid scene her mind presents her of her dead mother. The hole in their family, the missing, gnawing, mom-shaped absence in Sol's heart is never talked about. Her father flees from tough conversations. His jolly outlook and overall pleasant sophistication has helped her, rescued her, again and again. But he folds like paper under the wrong kind of strain. Sol's mom, the danger Sol's in, their inability to connect are all unbroachable topics.

Sol never liked school. She isn't delinquent blooded enough to ditch, but the thought of class is a constant source of stress and minor depression. Sol joined band in 7th grade. Stopped by 8th. She possessed neither a love for the baritone or tolerance for music kid cliques. Her grades are frequently short-listed for the principal's list and all Sol's teachers feel 'very lucky' to have her in class. Her mind can't settle very well in school despite her more than kind teachers.

Her father began dating a woman who is equally cheery and plastic as he is. A woman with a daughter of her own. Sol and her soon-to-be step-sister are foundationly different. A white sock paired with a turquoise and strawberry striped one couldn't be more badly sorted together. Her 'sister's' primary M.O. is hostility dashed with unpleasantness. With a smile reeking of sabotage. They orbit different circles but are thrust together some nights for family bonding activities and other things they would rather huff paint varnish than do.

Sol is a runner on the school track team. Her metropolitan schedule makes it hard to attend practice so it might be something she has to give up. Sol's dream career is to earn a living painting portraits. An occupation that seems more frivolous after each Angel challenges them for humanity's existence.

    Alignment: Publicly: Lawful Good

    Privately: Neutral good.

Appearance: A paint scheme of acid greens, muted grays, and black. The breastplate is enforced with a gleaming plastic like material. The center of the suit, which encompasses Sol's torso to her pelvis is colored black, fitted like a one piece bathing suit. The suit around that section is green. From afar, she is very much an avocado colored dot. Another layer of grey plastic lays on top of her shoulders, her elbow, knee cap, feet. The pads on Sol's hands are black. The suit is clingy but comfortable.

Name: Jason Henry Archibald / Colonel Archibald

Age: 57

Gender: Male

Nationality: American

Personality: Archibald is a no-bars, up-front man - he will tell what he needs immediately and won't make or tolerate excuses. He has low opinion of anybody slacking in their duties, or doing anything half-assed. He is demanding yet fair - he will ask 100% for everybody, including himself. Willing to push people to their limit, to get the job done - but won't endanger their lives, if injury would occur.

History: Colonel Archibald, has spend most of his live in the US Marine Corps. Starting as a simple grunt, to a Drill instructor and moving his way up the ladder from a Sergeant Major to Captain and even Major and climbing. Commanding and planning, being on the field and ordering, firefights and strategizing - Archibald has done it all.

He was later hired, and recruited by NERV - when they need a man, who knew enough to combine the elements of engineering, militarism, management - to keep the EVA's up and going, plan attacks against the Angels, and to keep the kids and staff focused and in-line.

Alignment: Public/Private: Neutral/Lawful Good

    Name: Alan Monroe

    Age: 14

    Gender: Male

    Nationality: American

Personality: Alan is the kind of boy that does everything with at least 110% effort. Although unfair in hindsight, he expects the same from the people around him, meaning he sometimes ends up disappointed, or comes off as annoying when he tries to encourage people. He’s kind and patient, and likely the last to go off in a fit of anger.

Very much enjoys nature, whether it’s something relaxed like a stroll through a local park, a leisurely cycle, or getting dirty and sweaty while going for a run. Has recently taken a shine to the profession of Gardener.

A tad bit reserved. While he’s not a bad conversationalist, he’s not one to often strike up one. Quick to listen to authoritative figures. Can get jittery around women and girls, often avoiding eye contact as well. One would almost think that he’s afraid of them.

    History:

Alan never knew his father, and while his mother loved and cared for him, she was very quick to nip anything she deemed problematic in the bud. Most, if not all the things perceived problematic, consisted of anything that reminded her of his father. While still young, it became more and more evident that he had difficulty with keeping up with the learning curve at school. His mother had a hard time swallowing her son wasn’t gifted as she herself was very intelligent and successful women, having a job within NERV.

The last drop that spilled the cup was when a test result indicated Alan possessing a low IQ. It was the start of a rough period, as his mother turned abusive. Not allowed much beyond studying, he struggled to meet his mother’s demands. Failure was always met with at least verbal abuse. Alan grew fearful of his mother, always reminded that bad grades and acts that reminded his mother of his father, were met with punishment. He always had to walk on eggshells around her.

The moment that things started to look brighter was when his mother enrolled him into a boarding school, at the age of 10. His grades steadily increased, thanks to the tutoring from teachers and help from fellow students. It also helped him get out of his shell a bit, turning him into a more optimistic person. His home situation improved dramatically too, as his mother’s behavior turned a complete 180.

At the age of 12 Alan’s mother died in an accident. The circumstances were classified, he was told the body was unretrievable. Despite years of hardship by his mother’s hand, he still held her dear to his heart, having a hard time coming to terms with his loss.

    Alignment: Lawful Neutral.

Appearance: The suit itself is a cool grey from the neck down to the shoulders, where it slowly tapers off into the middle of his torso, swells outward at the waist, and covers the entirety of his legs. The rest is covered in a light grey. the collarbone features a sizeable, artificially made ruby. An ornate cross hanging from a ring is embroidered in white right under the gem, making it seem like the three were linked together. Surprisingly comfortable.

Name: Chandni Grewal, the Fifth Child

    Age: 14

    Gender: Female

    Nationality: Indian

    Personality:

Chandni, though very quiet, can be quite outgoing around those she is comfortable with, oddly enough with adults/authority figures more than any of her own pier group. Due to her intensive study regime, she is often awkward in jokes or understanding social cues, as well as having a difficult time taking certain jokes. She has a very motherly instinct to her, as she often thinks that the worst situation could always arise, and could easily escalate if one is not prepared. She has a fondness for cleanliness, as well as other small regimes that can very easily, when consecutively not met, turn her into a sarcastic, poison filled brat.

She can be a little clingy, as she is use to moving around, and may trail around someone if she doesn't have much else to do. It is often either this, or studying in the libraries or remaining by herself in her apartment. Later on, in the series, she does learn that her exotic looks in this particular setting, as well as her childish aura can work greatly to her advantage, especially in those dealing with elder, male authority figures. Additionally, having lived in a country with a large amount of corruption, hearings of such incidences do not phase her with fear as many other things do, as she is easily scared by small instances, but rather she becomes quite angry, even to the point of personal injury.

All in all, she's quite quiet and friendly, albeit a bit awkward and self conscious. She has great trouble understanding why people would get into relationships in the first place, and absolutely loathes verbally fighting.

    History:

Chandni was originally a child in which many placed both no and high hopes for, as she was the first born of her family, yet she was born prematurely, with a malformed lung. However, the malformation was corrected in the hospital, with only a slight hitch in her breath occasionally in the present. She underwent the Indian public school system until about the age of 7, when her family then transferred to China, as her father, a doctor, and her mother, a nurse, could work more easily with less corruption in the environment. She then took a break from the public education system, and remained with her mother who, having taken less shifts, taught her most everything she needed as she would have been taught in India.

This rigourous coursework, as well as the physical drilling her father wanted her to do put her in a very unique position, as many described her parents as "overbearing." About age 11, however, her parents filed for a divorce and came to the US, which took a great toll on Chandni. Her mother took her baby brother, while her father got her.

Her father remarried within a year of divorcing her mom, and her stepmother, though nice enough, was very detached from Chandni. She was quite emotional, and tried to sympathize with the girl. Eventually, however, she gave up trying, and started to ignore her presence. Her father constantly worked, and this taught Chandni self-sufficiency. Her step-mother then passed away from an advanced form of stomach cancer, which temporarily allowed Chandni to remain with her mother, and spend time again in her original country of India. The family then decided to try once again by coming to the United States two years later, and are currently trying to resolve the errs of the past, with Chandni now keeping as much distance from them as possible.

In India, she had been accepted into the NERV Chinese and Indian veins, allowing her about a year and a half of Eva testing and synchronization, making her highly adept at this, as well as overall understanding her Eva, which she lovingly dubs "Chi", short for "Chitt? Chideya", it's project development name and the Punjabi/Hindi term for "White Sparrow/birds"

Since she was homeschooled, she developed hobbies one could do at home, such as crafting, sewing/embroidery, drawing/painting, cleaning, etc. Due to the messy conditions of her first home, she has been heavily considerate of keeping her areas clean, not necessarily organized. She is a bit scattered in the head now, and often goes on long trains of thought due to all the activity that usually is around her.

    Alignment: Lawful Neutral

    Appearance:

Her plug suit is somewhat of an inverse of her Eva's apperance, with her suit being composed of mostly black, with white linings and detailings. Much of the print is in a cyan blue, and her number is printed in a greenish yellow color. Within the collar area, there is a type of choker around the base of the neck of the suit, with simple rectangular, almost prism like shapes within the same greenish yellow color as the number, with a small oval silhouette brooch in the middle of her family.

    Name

    Lev "Sixth Child" Hsi

    Age

    14

    Gender

    Male

    Nationality

    Tawainese

    Personality

Lev is an introverted and socially inept boy who has a painful difficulty asserting himself. He is psychologically very tense and alert, as to which some cannot help but associate with a nature of that of a wild animal. Showing self-destructive tendencies, he is driven by a desire of worth and acceptance, going as far as to exibihit signs a superioty complex that comes across in the form of exibicionismin a way or another. Despite coming off as possessing high emotional capacity, he actually has very little empathy for others, awkwardly trying to follow social conventions when it is shown he finds no reason for them. When he does have empathy for a person, he grows oddly attached to them and will do anything for them, which may come across as somewhat unpleasant, leading him to grow scared of his own affections in order to avoid rejection.

He tends to blindly follow instructions and commands when they're given to him, namely by his superiors, never so much as voicing his doubt as to what they entail. Solitary and withdrawn, Lev often has his head tilted down as a way of avoiding eye contact with others. As someone that does not often stand out in a group, he has trouble speaking and rarely does so, as he tends to waste time thinking to himself and then become frustrated and stumble upon his words, being too self-conscious about what others might think of him and what repercussions will affect him. He often prefers to do things on his own, such as taking the responsibility of the majority of the work in a group and not allowing people to go their way to help him when it falls to him and him alone to do something.

Having a clear distaste towards his own weakness, he is seen as egotistical and arrogant for such feats, driving him to be even more of a social outcast. Aggressive and intuitive, he does not accept any half-assed results, showing a unhealthy perfectionism to his passionate nature. Lev is a rather judgmental individual, easily ticked by things most people wouldn't. He does not say it to others though, as he finds it hard to just blurt out words whom he does not know what the consequences will bring forth.

    History

Lev's parents had little to do with him from the beginning, having being abandoned by one or perhaps even the two of them as a child of 3 years old. Possesing no clear memories of even so much as their faces and nothing to hold on to who they were, the future Sixth Child would grow up apathetic to the idea of his biological relatives, ghosts whose existence he ignored. Raised in a large adoptive Russian family, struggle would be of a constant presence in his life in order to seek acknowlegment, praise, acceptance among others. He would be frustrated with his results, driving him to demand more and more of himself. Nothing was ever enough.

Change would eventually come to him, as well as the past ties he would ignore until now. As someone who felt trapped in an environment he did not belong to, surrounded by strangers, tired of accomplishing nothing by trying to reach perfection, Lev realized that these ties would be the one thing that would allow him to free himself from this mundane routine that lead him nowhere over and over again.

By taking the family name he had until now been ignorant of, he has now something, anything that gives him purpose in this godforsaken world that he feels so lost in...

    Alignment

    True Neutral

    Appearance

Lev's plugsuit possesses a black color, with a reinforced area around the chest made of metal, along with protection pads attached to his arms and feet with dark colors. His EVA Unit number is located in his back in white, bold letters, along with a vent-like structure on his reinforced area that allows his plugsuit to estabilize in case of an emergency. Its simple design follows the idea of "forgetting who is inside the EVA" as the latter is one with him.

  • Beundo_zps0vw4u2z1.png

Name: Gabriel Beundo - The Seventh Child

(Pronounced GAH-briel in his first language)

    Age: 14

    Gender: Male

    Nationality: Brazilian

    Personality:

Gabriel is the kind of person that doesn't like to be the center of attention. He's rather quiet and soft-spoken, and will rarely not be kind to people. However, his actions are mostly devoid of emotion -- he isn't a pragmatic person nor one who would dismiss other people's feelings, but his assessment is that he naturally doesn't feel much. He displays high self-control and has no problems following orders if an authority figure is involved and he thinks the orders are sensible enough, though he might act on his own agenda if he believes it won't put the missions at risk. Interacting with people makes him tired, and the only ways he believes he can truly relax are by playing video games and/or simply being in a serene setting. It is quite hard to build trust with him, which is one of the reasons he likes to maintain an image of being kind, yet "comfortably distant". The other reason is that he believes other people are much more interesting than himself -- he likes to observe how they react and think, either for learning how to effectively interact with them or simply for his curiosity and amusement, and he doesn't want to risk his view becoming clouded due to being close to whom he is observing.

Outwardly, that is how he acts. On the inside, however, he has a rather pessimistic and nihilistic view of things. He thinks people make life seem like it's much more interesting than it truly is, and considers that to be an unhealthy delusion to make people hopeful. But it is because of this that he may act irregularly sometimes -- the few truly interesting things in life should be treasured regardless of any conventions, he believes. With a negative view of himself, he is happy to consider himself a "stepping stone" of sorts, meaning he may prioritize the growth of other people above of his own and sometimes even his physical and/or psychological well-being -- that is, if he considers them interesting enough. He will not go out of his way to talk about his beliefs as it could cause him more trouble, as well as not wanting to think he's indoctrinating others to be as pathetic as himself.

Though he accepted the call from NERV, his ideals aren't directly noble -- he thought it'd be amusing and considers himself lucky to be able to participate. Whether people judge him to be good or bad will simply be a consequence of that. As such, he will most likely display enjoyment on situations most others wouldn't be expected to, which often generates negative reactions, specially if it hints to a lack of guilt, though he does his best to avoid making it reaching that point. He is also fascinated by the Angels -- he considers them a threat and became a pilot to defeat them, naturally, but whatever information they may be able to gather will be beneficial both to his curiosity and humankind's survival.

    History:

Gabriel was introduced to video-games when he was very young, which have had a noticeable impact on his life, being his main form of learning english other than self-teaching. Other than observing people, that is the only leisure activity he cares for. He had above average grades but never developed an habit of studying regularly, and also despised homework. He was target of bullying for most of his earlier school years, which made him develop an initial distrust of people. He never fought back against his aggressors, but would often do mischievous things behind the scenes to get them to fight among each other, such as hiding their belongings or forging offensive letters. Given his underwhelming behavior, no one suspected him, and he learned that he could use it to his favor.During his later school years, he became the sort of person that both students and staff wouldn't pay much attention to, and he enjoyed this situation as it made school become much less of an annoyance, while still allowing him to pay attention to how others acted.

An only child whose parents got into arguments often, he found himself constantly switching between whose house he'd stay at. On most occasions, both would be busy, in which case he'd stay with his maternal grandparents. However, they all treated him kindly, so he bears no resentment at all towards his family. They never pressured him into doing anything, so he has had a rather laid-back lifestyle so far.Considering himself to be the only reason his parents still had for talking to each other, he did his best not to become a burden on their relationship. Eventually, his parents' arguing became more violent, so they decidedly cut ties with each other ( they weren't married in the first place, so there was no need for a divorce ).

Fortunately, NERV tests had already been underway for a significant amount of time at this point. Seeing this as a chance to finally set his parents free from their burden (himself), among other things, he was quick to accept and to say there was no need for them to go with him. They accepted on the condition that his grandparents looked after him instead, to which he reluctantly agreed, requesting that NERV not involve them on their operations unless it involves their well-being. He also convinced them to take a plane a few days later than him, using the excuse that the paperwork would take some more time as they were elderly. In truth, it's simply to keep duty and family as separate as possible.

    Alignment:

    Outward : True Neutral

    Inward : Chaotic Neutral

Appearance: His plugsuit consists of tones of blue, just like his EVA. The reinforced chest, shoulder, elbow and knee areas are a light blue color, with circles around the wrists, ankles and waist of the same color. The torso consists of a shade darker and duller than the protective parts, but still rather light. The pelvis and limbs are in a dark shade, gradually becoming even darker as they reaches its extremities, and the gloves and boots are nearly black. On the back is a circle containing his unit number, both in a cyan color.
