Ahoy! I'm Neoglorian, and I'm looking for someone who would be interested in doing a slice of life Modern fantasy Rp with me. But first, a little about myself: I'm 21, and I've been roleplay for a long time, with my experience ranging from minecraft RP severs, to D&D. When it comes to writing I'm not exactly a Wordsworth or a Shakespeare. I prefer to keep my RP responses shorter, but still detailed enough to allow for a dynamic and more laid back experience (somewhere in the range of 1 solid paragraph to two medium paragraphs, although if you need more that's cool, too.)
I really only have one prompt that i want to play out, and I'm checking to see if anyone is interested or has a similar desire. I'm open to discussing the details of the RP, although i would like the premise to be intact. I'll need someone who is comfortable playing as the male character, as this will be an MxF RP. In terms of Rp requirements, I'm looking for someone who is 18+, as I'm not comfortable doing a romance RP with anyone younger. Literacy level or RP experience isn't too important to me, I'm mostly looking for a laid back slice of life experience. I personally prefer to RP on Discord, but I'm fine with RPN as well, whichever one is more comfortable for you. Premise
The age of castles, swords, wizards, witches, dragons, and tales of heroes has long since gone, replaced by towering office buildings, concrete streets, and the sprawling network of city blocks and suburban neighborhoods alike. In this word, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and other fantastical races live in modern cities in nations across the world. Not all is well, however, as centuries of conquest, ancient feuds, and religious divides still run deep in this world and keep its many races firmly divided...
However, not everyone wants a world dominated by such divides. A group of forward thinking people have founded Union City, a land of opportunity where people of every race can live together and prosper! At least, that was the plan anyways. Although great strides were taken in creating this free society, it was still clear that not all the animosity between the races had disappeared.
Bianca Garknog is a 21 year old orc girl who just recently moved to Union City after earning a scholarship and being accepted into Union City Academy. She comes from a poverty-stricken and run-down community of Orcs from her hometown and she hopes to make a life for herself in the famous city of opportunity. However, Bianca soon finds that orcs are yet to really have a presence in the city, and that the supposedly equal society still has a long way to go. She's teased by others at the academy for her heritage, though she tries to ignore them and not let their words get to her. However, she's surprised one day when a guy asks her out (the method of which can be your choice). She thinks it's just another prank or dare, but her desire to make some kind of connection in the city leads her to agree to the date.
This is where your character comes in. All the details about your character are totally up to you, although i would ask that you play a Human or an elf (or something similar), and of course a male. All other details are up to you!
