Hi everyone. Call me Elf! Iβm desperately wanting to do something surrounding a futuristic setting with cybernetics and mature themes and maybe even some post apocalyptic themes? Like maybe Earth is considered a dangerous wasteland now where only the gnarliest of bounties reside? Aaaaahβ¦ but iβm getting ahead of myself! This is ours to create so Iβll definitely want your opinion on wellβ¦ everything.
To make things easier on how I imagine things to be, Iβll be posting some gifs and ideas for certain areas in the city / planet theyβre on throughout this search. For now Iβll just tell you a bit about me, yeah?
Iβm in my twenties so Iβm definitely expecting a partner that is an adult, especially for some of these themes. I can post anywhere from once a week to three times a week, depending on how short or long our posts are currently. Iβm advanced but focused on lazy-lit and prefer a partner who wants to go with the flow and doesnβt demand 12 paragraphs per post. Iβm comfortable writing as any gender and will always contribute to npcβs. Please be someone who can more or less match this criteria and is open to gushing with me about our story and characters and all of that. No seriously... I need someone I can obsess over our ships and ideas with. Be lame with me PLS.
I. chemical x. that's what they called itβΈΊan agent that transformed the cells and left its hosts with unimaginable abilities, each one different and unique to that person. no one ever expected that the facility would have a breach and that all of its experiments would be released. that's exactly what happened. all without memories of their previous lives ( suppressed by a drug given to them daily ) they run and run and run until finding a mysterious underground train which leads them to a new world entirely... the neotokyo. βmajor & minor themes : repressed memories, corrupt government and taking down that government, new life, romance, angst, adventure!
II. a seasoned and infamous bounty hunter suddenly has to team up with a fickle, untrustworthy graveyard dweller ( a nickname for people who live in the low class / ugly / barren parts of the city. can be a criminal, sex worker, starlet, whatever ) with a set of cybernetics that are only ever seen on the rich and powerful who can pay for them. the two of them are given a specific task that even the bounty hunter isn't used to: to investigate a string of gruesome murders... that are all being committed by AI`S. the deeper they get, the more obvious it becomes that somehow... the graveyard dweller is in the center of it. βmajor & minor themes : crime, mafia syndicates, bounty hunting, romance, angst, drama, violence.
III. two wanted criminals that hate one another / have bad blood / used to be ex's / something that caused tension end up having to team together and become a duo and maybe, accidentally, fall back in love during the process? βmajor & minor themes : going on adventures together, comedy, romance, bounty hunting, drama, betrayal.
IV. a hardened government soldier / special forces / bounty hunter that goes against their entire force to save the suspect they're supposed to bring in. potential ideas : the suspect was someone precious to the hardened person in their youth and went missing > the hardened person realizes the suspect can't possible be the person they're looking for and is being framed > insert dramatic idea of yours here!
V. ( muse a ) a stripper / prostitute / dancer / etc that used to be all human but now has a ton of cyber parts because of the mafia leader she's ' indebted ' to and the man / woman / nonbinary person she meets on a night when she's been attacked and is in desperate need of her netics to be fixed. to her luck, they're able to fix her up and in a way that is even more impressive than the best engineers in the high class cities. muse a decides to stick around for a while and ends up living with muse b, her savior but this leads to the mafia leader becoming suspicious and angered, leading to muse b suddenly becoming a target to his wrath and jealousy. note : i have so many ideas and references and cute little headcanons for this plot. inspiration but muse a wouldn't need to be entirely an ai or anything. she could easily just have an arm piece or maybe internal pieces and not her entire body! to be clear muse a can also be male!
VI. PLEASE don't think that you only have these options to go by because i'd love to hear your ideas! These are just some potential suggestions. We can go more adventure or something more slice of life-y and just within this universe if you'd like. I'm so open so if there's even just a trope you've been wanting to do, please tell me and I'll totally bounce ideas off of you.
