I have no idea how to tell if a rp is detailed or simple and that's very frustrating as I can only write so much, but because of the sites new complexity it has been attracting more "Detailed" roleplayers and I have no idea what kind of rp I'm looking at. I got really excited for one rp until I found you were required to write 3 paragraphs per post. There needs to be a tag or way to know.

Also there are no interest checks, and most people like joining recently started rps, not yet started or in development rps. Without Interest checks it's hard to find those.

OMG YES, one time I look on an RP that looks interesting, but when I get to the CS, FUCK I need to make my character's personality column three paragraphs, how the fuck can one even go into that level detail about the damn personality section, it's a roleplay not an assignment for English class. Besides personality is suposed to be found out through the course of the RP anyways!

I personally don't do role plays that long, but I think that it's fine if some people want to do it that way. Everybody has different preferences.

Completely agree. As one of those detailed people... I honestly don't want to go diving into an RP only to find out its a simple roleplay with small posts for each response, just as much as I'm sure others who are simple/casual don't like seeing people throwing up 2-3 paragraph minimal in their own posts. Those tags helped a lot, having something similiar in place would help when looking through the various roleplays. Currently the best way right now would just to add a tag for Simple or Detailed, but that tags up a tag slot and isn't always the easiest to notice.

While there are several things that need to be solved on the sight, having the prefixs back would be a really helpful tool, specially if it could be organized again (though just having the tag is helpful enough for now) that would help all sides a lot for our various preferences.

There are no plans to reinstate detail-level RP prefixes, at this current time or in the future. Previously, the detail-level prefixes were misused, either knowingly or unknowingly, by people wanting to entice what they perceived to be 'higher caliber' RPers to their game and exclude those they saw as inferior. This sort of elitism has no place on RpN, where we strive to include all levels of writing skill and encourage those with a talent for writing to inspire and nurture those who are less talented to stretch themselves and push past their boundaries.

In addition to this, the site rules seem to clash with the use of site-defined detail level prefixes. RpNation's staff are bound by rules that state they cannot interfere or influence an RP unless it breaks a site rule, yet we seek to impose a series of criteria on what 'level of writing' is sufficient to be 'Detailed', 'Casual' or 'Simple'? No, this isn't acceptable. And thus it shall not be a thing in future.
