Okay, so, being a fan of the Peculiar Children series for so long, as I have loved the books since before their were cool. They were my childhood and I loved them so much, despite their darker nature that I was oblivious to for the longest time. Now, the movie for the first book is in production, and it set to be released next year around this time. So, that had sparked an interest in me to inspire upon a roleplay of an AU of Cairnholm's most beloved orphanage spurred in another-created disaster loop area.
The reason I have not written a summary of the stories here is because I want people that have actually read at least the first novel and can provide some input to me. I also don't want a huge roleplay with many newbies and their god-modded characters running around and destroying everything. Sure, the syndrigasti are a peculiar people, but no one has the power to create infernos, and control galaxies, and manipulate people's minds.
As those who are reading this have read the books, and know that they are children with very strange, and odd (with some being highly unpleasant) powers, taken examples are as follows: uncontrolled levitation, bringing dead things to life with stolen organs, sparking light from one's palm, manipulation of live bees in the stomach, a mouth to eat on the back of one's head, growing of foliage, etc. The list of peculiarity goes on and on.
So, like stated before, I would like some input included in the interest posts of others. Some things to consider answering with me:
[*]Should hallows and wights have a big antagonist role?
[*]What big disaster should this loop be formed from, if any (some event preferably from the years 1970-2000)?
[*]Who can possibly assist me in the formation of a further plotline?
