This is the Harpinger Estate, home of the well known Harpinger lineage.
There's hundreds of maids and butlers that serve those who stay here and have been known to be extremely loyal for almost twenty generations.
The latest mistress and Master are unable to have their own children to carry on their name. That's what you're here for, you have been chosen out of ten as a candidate to carry on the name of this great estate.
once a month at the end of every month, you will gather with all other candidates and will be tested on various things you have learned.
here is your schedule:
-every year you will have a total of 12 tests
First year:
-You are in eighth grade, thirteen-fourteen in age
-You are home schooled, this is the only year in which you are completely able to interact with any of the other contestants as you please during you free time
-in the morning you are all to awake by eight, you will receive breakfast in the dining hall.
-by ten o'clock you will start your studies with your tutor for math, history, English, and another language of your choice.
-by twelve-thirty you will end your studies and are able to take a break, eat lunch, and spend time exercising or playing sports.
-by three you will be requested to accompany your second tutor who will teach you etiquette and things about the estate and the company that they run
-by five-thirty you will be done for the day and will join for dinner with the others and possibly the estate owners.
-You are expected to be in bed by ten-thirty
-you will always be accompanied by at least one body guard to ensure your safety
Second year:
-you will join a private school chosen by you foster parents, an all boys school and an all girls school
-school starts at eight, you must be up and ready to be driven in the limo provided, one for the boys, one for the girls
-at this point, there's no guarantee how often you will see one another based on interests and how busy you are
-if you are not in any extracurricular activities you are expected home by three-thirty, if you are in extracurricular activities, please be back as soon as they end, we have checked with the schools and you should not be out later than five-thirty based on how long they allow activities to go
-when you arrive back you have time alone, but you are limited on how long you may visit with the other candidates. we strongly suggest you focus on your academics.
