Dear child,
you have received this letter because the owners of this estate have visited you in a face to face conversation at your local orphanage, they have taken an interest in hopes that you might become the next heir since they lack the ability to carry on their own heritage.
before you proceed we require a legal document of your IQ and any information that was not given on your orphanage information papers such as your birth certificate.
upon acceptance, you will be fostered here on the estate for five years, at the end of each month you will be tested on various key things that we expect you to have learned.
to better influence you, we will supply your orphanage with forty-five thousand dollars every test you pass over the fiver year period.
more information will be supplied upon your arrival, we hope to see you soon.

only accepting 5 male characters and 5 female characters for the roles of candidates
everyone starts off between the ages of 12-13 (American eighth grade)
you may play as another character besides a candidate, every candidate will be later fitted with a butler in training who they will grow up with as their best friend, especially with their tighter schedules that make them incapable of seeing others, butlers will end up going to school with their charge, and will be accompanied with one other person (most likely a maid). butlers do NOT have to be male, butlers may also be female, though even in an all girls school a girl may be accompanied by a boy butler.
maids are also large roles because they are around almost all the time, and some of them may become butlers in training.
all butlers in training will train for the first year together and won't see who they will be paired with (pretty much two stories will go on at once) they will meet their charge in the second year and will be accustomed in the third.
you CANNOT play as both a butler and a candidate its either or ^^
please discuss either in the OOC thread or in PM with each other as to who will be paired with who
