Secretly an Alien, Shhh
Yeah. You read that right. I'm looking for someone to play an OC rather than a canon character. Doesn't happen very often on here, does it?
I watched "The Orville" a while back, and have kind of been rooting for Alara to get a girlfriend. (I mean, all those guys get upset about her being stronger than them... The obvious solution is that she gets a girlfriend instead, because girls love girls with muscles. Or... Maybe that's just me.) Obviously, that didn't happen yet, but that doesn't mean it can't happen right here and right now. All I need is someone who has an original character to use.
In terms of plot... I don't really have one in mind? I kind of just want this to be a romance in space with a lot of self-exploration and fun. My thought would be to take it as it comes, but if you want to come up with a more overarching plot, I'm up for ideas. Basically, your character transfers onto the Orville sometime after season one, Alara is trying to convince herself that she doesn't need love (and Kelly really isn't having any of that bull), our characters meet, and they start developing a mutual interest in one another that Alara is really not equipped to deal with. I want this to move at a realistic pace and to be character-driven.

- Try to post at least once a week. More than that would be great, but I understand that life is a thing, and as a high school senior... Well, I know what it's like to only be able to handle one post a week sometimes. If you're going to be gone longer than that, just let me know and I'll do the same.
- Four to six paragraphs would be great, but I'm willing to go lower since this is based on interactions. Just give me something to work with, and please, two paragraphs at minimum.
- If you haven't seen all of season one, we can still do this. The episodes are nonlinear enough that it won't affect anything.
- Being willing to control outside characters. We'll likely end up sharing them depending on how interactions run.
- On-site RP only. I'm okay with PM or threads, though.
- Be willing to chat OOC. I like getting to know my partners.
- No sexual content. This is not up for debate.
- We will be using simple CS. I like learning about the other character as we go.
- Not a habit or expectation BUT: I am seventeen (turning eighteen in March, though). I make a point to let potential partners know my age, that way, if it makes them uncomfortable, they're not put in a situation they'd rather not be in.
