Gin Matsuda

Gin takes from his position hidden underneath them. Although he wasn’t blind , currently his little hoppity helper was keeping an eye on his precious little tufts and reporting back to him. The rabbit sat patiently and observed everything that happened with wide knowing eyes and large ears As it tapped out what was happening; the thumps sending out a tap code to let their summoner know the conversation.
Gin grinned slightly as they came up with their little plan . It was a decent tactic, but one that went off them banking off his need to keep them alive and safe. Not exactly what he was going for in testing their tracking and information gathering ability. But, well, they can work on that later... for now he supposed it was time to change things up a little.

bursting from the ground in a sharp crack of lightning, he bounced lightly on his toes before delivering two lightning fast jabs with his knuckles into the clones.
“Begon DEMONs!!! Leave my angel cakes ALONE”

Yuno Matsuda

Yuno pondered the information she had been given by...that other boy. (She refused to call him a teammate just yet)
“Pumpernickels huh...” she mumbled. Eyes narrowing a grin sharpened her features before she dashed off. Being a foodie who enjoyed tasting a variety of food finally paid off (as she expected it would) and she quickly headed off to find hopefully her first clue.

Line break!

after checking the best hotspots she finally found it! A note on the damn ceiling; unfortunately...Yuno has a bit of an issue controlling her own chakra and was never really good at wall walking...this...ugh! No she did not need help! She was...she was going to figure this out all by herself and then her stupid ‘team’ would see how much better (how useful) she was!
glaring at the note, she set to work on retrieving it with many Chairs and senbon.
although she was positive she looked like a right fool, she had the note! Now to find her weirdo not teammate and rub it in his face!

Kimiko sighs "Weirdo" she mumbles "Do tell me, how are we supposed to find you if you refuse to leave us alone, sir?" she asks, calling him that simply to annoy the hell out of them and if it worked she'll keep calling him that "That's not the point of hide and seek, especially if you listen in on our conversation, it's weird, rude and did I mentiom weird?" she asks walking to him "If you don't trust we can handle ourselves how are we supposed to improve at all? And we are NOT your angel cakes, you damn weirdo"

Kiyoshi Uzumaki

"How'd we do Sensei?" Kiyoshi asked, smiling at Gin. "We tried our best and--wait, weren't we going to catch you?"

Akatoshi Yama
"The grass is always greener on the other side, but what defines greener grass?" Sure it was cryptic, but Akatoshi had faith in his students; they'd figure it out. In the meantime, he sat cross-legged across the river from the Moss, awaiting his students.

What would he say to them? What lesson could he teach them in this instance? As he meditated, he thought up a speech.

Mensa stood waiting for a response from their sensei.
He put his hand in his pocket.
He wasn't exactly so sure if they did good or not, Mensa didn't do much of anything honesty.
It made him feel a bit bad.

Gin Matsuda

Gin sheepishly rubbed the back of his head at the scolding Before shrugging and waggling a playful finger.
“Na ah ah! You should always assume your being watched. This isn’t just a game anymore, this is your life~ had I been a real enemy, why I would have sliced you all to bits!”
He giggled, pulling a senbon seemingly out of thin air.
“you guys didn’t even say hi to my dear sweet kanako~”
He said, gesturing to the Large rabbit summon that now was foraging around them.
“Ah but the game is still in play~ and I believe you’ve found me! So now it’s your turn to hide. I’ll even be nice and give you 30 seconds!!”
With a beaming smile he slowly began to count down from 30.

Yuno Matsuda

“the grass is always greener?? What defines greener grass???” Ughh! Yuno scowled angrily at the stupid note her freak of a sensei left her. Of course he couldn’t be a real sensei and fight them like everyone else... scowling, she finally found her (not) teammate hanging around with her weirdo cousin and his soon to be freaks. Growling angrily she stomped up to him and waved the note in his face furiously.
“Hey! Idiot we don’t have time for you to be having tea time with these babies! I got the stupid clue Moss-for-brains left us so hurry up, damn-Yuki!”

Yuki sighed, so he wasn't needed and their team now hides "well I was going to catch him for you all but I guess you dont need it then" Yuki said before running off to find his sensei with Yuno, heading towords the river.

Kimiko rolls her eyes before dashing away from the village and towards the forest, the forest she knows like the back of her hand, she could find a place to hide "Let's see" she mumbles as she pauses before heading towards the denser area.

From what Mensa had read from his Genin Tractics book, it's best to hide in a moderately populated area.
Well, in a shop could be good; Mensa knew just the place he could go.
Mensa threw smoke bomb down and vanished without a trace.
"They'll never know."
Mensa thought to himself.

Kiyoshi watched as his teammates dissappeared around them. As he prepared a substitution, he crossed his arms and watched Gin-san as he counted to thirty with a smug look his face. When Sensei would try to grab him, he'd switch places with a log from a nearby tree, then run off.

Atsuko Kinawa

This was bad.

This was really bad.

Atsuko was supposed to meet her new team and sensei. Problem was... She kind of forgot that assignment. Hell, she forgot the names of her teammates. She only sort of remembered one of them; he wore a kimono or something...

Although her lack of responsibility didn't go unpunished. A bruise on her left arm would attest to that, courtesy of her mother. At least her cape covered it so people wouldn't ask questions.

Not like they didn't know how Kokoro was anyway. It was expected, really. Which reminded her that her 15th birthday would come soon, and with that, the "bonding ceremony". Every Kinawa had to participate, so it wasn't like she could get away from it, and she had witnessed her cousin's ceremony, which scarred her for life. It was impressive that he even got out of that-

Atsuko felt something furry brush her hand. She looked to her side, only to be met with Takahiro's eyes gazing at her, worried. Takahiro - the girl's tiger - was Atsuko's best friend. In the two years she's had him, they developed a familial bond, and cared for each other deeply, despite these emotions not being strong enough to summon Beast Incarnate. At least according to her mother. It was one of the reasons she was looking forward to it: her own daughter was the only one in the clan, with a partner, that hadn't developed this ability.

But for now, Atsuko would keep her mind away from that topic. Takahiro knew when something bothered her, and he could get really annoying when she didn't lighten up. She just smiled at him and scratched behind his ear.

Back to the task at hand, she needed to find her team. She walked around the woods aimlessly for a few minutes before stumbling upon someone. An inquisitive frown appeared on her face as she studied this figure... Brown kimono with a bright green sash... Very quiet looking...

Eh, worth a shot, right?

"Hey, you!" She shouted, about 10 feet away from this person. "You uh... Are you one of the chunins of Team 2?"

Nori Nori

"Hey, You!" Yuki heard out the woods, looking around he saw a shinobi with a... t-tiger?! "You uh... Are you one of the chunins of Team 2?" so she was in team two, was this their other teammate? "Yes, I'm Yukimuro Taka, who are you?" Yuki shouted back to her, preparing a jutsu incase of an enemy.

Yuno Matsuda

Yuno paused from her scouting position, hackles instantly raised at the new presence. Not because she thought they were the enemy, but because someone dared to interrupt her??? Again?!
“Look lion tamer, w-I don’t have Time for your shit! So scram, we have a Tree man to find!”

Gin Matsuda

Gin finished counting and watched his Genin go with something akin to glee. Its been so long since he participated in a proper hunt...and now here he was~
Eyeing his cute little cherry top as he stared smugly at him, he cocked his head to the side with a large grin.
“Ne, you’re not gonna run away Uzu-Chan?”
He questioned lightly, lazily flipping senbon in between his fingers from inside his large sleeves.
already his rabbit summons were on the move, following his student at high speeds and staying hidden.

Kiyoshi Uzumaki
"I don't really feel like it, Sensei. Can't we play something else?" Kiyoshi held two crossed fingers behind his back, hoping to get the substitution right. He'd only used it a few times while practicing with his mother, so it wasn't like he was a champion of substitutions, but he had moderate faith in his own ability to perform it. With a grin, he looked at Gin, waiting for him to pounce. Gotta get it just right. If I do it too soon he'll catch on, but if I do it too late, he'll catch me!

Akatoshi Yama
Patiently, Akatoshi waited next to the river, trickling sideways ever so slightly, then picking back up again. The current never ceased to move the water; it was always flowing. Always moving. By his calculations, his students should arrive at the other side pretty soon, but the question was when. Maybe they were caught up in something. Maybe Akatoshi just overestimated them.
No, he thought, they're competent enough to put together the clues I've left for them, if you can even call them that. They'll find me. Just gotta be patient.

Gin Matsuda

with a light laugh, Gin shifted and swiped his hand up Into the air lightning quick, small sparks of chakra lighting up the tips of his fingers as he shot dozens of senbon attached with chakra Threads at his his student to paralyze him.
“awww, that’s no fun to hear~ we’ll play what you wanna play next time yeah?”
He laughed

They all flew towards Kiyoshi in unison. Everything slowed down to where the only thing he heard was the beat of his own heart. Thump. Thump. Thump. If they hit him, he'd be in trouble. Did Sensei know what he was doing?

Right before the first senbon were about to land, Kiyoshi switched places, instantly vanishing as a piece of wood appeared in his place. I... I did it? He questioned, shaking before running off. Where would be the best place to hide? Kiyoshi smiled, knowing the perfect spot.

Kimiko arrives at a small cave entrance she's positive only she and her father know about "Unless" she mumbles, they were probably being followed "That cheater" she thinks running another way, it was fine, there are enough places she can go anyway, she finds a patch of wild carrots and stops, would that work? She hoped so. After pulling a few out and leaving them on the floor she continues on, heading towards another entrance, one she used less often.

Kiyoshi leaped over the wall to his Clan's gated-off community and landed on the other side. Winded, he strolled down the road as he tried to catch his breath, waving back to his fellow Uzumaki on his way to his hiding spot. Surely it had been 30 seconds by now, but he couldn't give up yet. That was neither the Will of Leaves nor the will that his grandfather bestowed upon him shortly before his death.

The gates to his Clan's zen garden were -- thankfully -- open, so he went through. Looking around frantically, Kiyoshi found a large unlit torch, and quickly hopped onto it. He made a Tiger hand seal, then fire encompassed him. Hopefully his Fire Camouflage would hold out until Gin gave up. Although he had never been all that good at the Fire Camouflage, this would be good practice for a real life situation.

Jikai Shiniki

A sense of helplessness rushed over Jikai, along with the water that he couldn't escape from. How had he gotten here? What had he done? Struggling to breathe, he waved his arms in random directions as he tried to stabilize his position in the water, but it was useless. He was going to die. The feeling of dread rushed over him as he-

GASP
He sat straight up in bed in a cold sweat. The same dream as always, he thought as he pushed the covers aside and stood up. As he glanced at the window next to his bed, he saw light outside. What time was it? Had he missed the assigning of Genin and Chunin? Great. Just great.

After grilling and eating some grilled fish, he hopped in the shower and freshened up. Then he put his ninja clothes on and headed out. Finally, he wrapped the black cloth around his head, covering his eyes.
Hopefully he could find his Sensei. That is, if he could even figure out who his Sensei was. A quick visit to the Mosukage's office should clear this all up, which is where he headed after that.

Atsuko Kinawa

"Yukimuro, huh?" Atsuko mused at the boy's response. The girl saw that he was somewhat hesitant in her presence, so she put on a smile and approached him with a hand out. "I'm Atsuko. Atsuko Kinawa. You might have heard of me. And this ball of fur here is Takahiro."
Takahiro had approached the boy with a suspicious look in his eyes, sniffing his legs up and down. Apparently the kid was also accompanied by another girl. Atsuko found it odd that she didn't realize her presence earlier, but didn't think too much about it. But she did have some strong opinions about her the moment she opened her mouth to... Tell her off?
"Listen here kid, if you're gonna be a problem, you best tell me now. Otherwise we'll run into some issues and I'd rather spare the headache." Atsuko replied in a low, serious voice. Takahiro instictively took his place beside the red head, growling menacingly.
"Besides, if you're talking about the same tree man I'm thinking of, then I'd like to know where he is too. Heard he wanted to talk to me. So if you can make my life a little easier and point me in his direction - or the direction of the other team, that'd be greatly appreciated." That last sentence had just a tinge of sarcasm to it, as Atsuko put on a fake smile to antagonize the girl and see with just how much she could out up with.

Nori Nori MidnightMoon MidnightMoon

After locating the small sized lake Kimiko heads to the stream to wash her hands "This is a pain" she says, once she's satisfied she puts her cloak in a tree before diving in the lake and entering the cave from there, she wasn't a big fan of leaving her cloak behind, but it was for the best in this case and people rarely entered this part of the forest, not to mention that they'd fall if they jumped from tree to tree.

Now all she has to do is wait for Gin to find her or give up, but if summons did eat then she'd likely lost it.

Gin Matsuda

‘That was downright fantastic ~!” He squealed, his cheeks began to hurt from smiling too much. After he calmed down from his fangirling, a large jack rabbit popped up. Thumping it’s foot in a series of codes to let him know just where his Tiny tots have run off too. Grining he ran his hands through a series of band signs and shot off three lightning clones.
“Ready or not, here I come~”
His four clones chuckled before idly pulling chains from their sleeves

Yuno Matsuda

Your the problem here! As if I needed some other crazy cat lady in my life. If you need to ask for help from us then you obviously are just as useless as that old fungus! “
She snarled, mismatched eyes glaring heatedly at the girl. A scoff leaving her at her attempt at Intimidation.
“What I’d appreciate is competent sensei and proper teammates, but we don’t get what we’d appreciate now do we?! So kindly go fuck yourselves”
And with that she whipped around and stomped off to where she assumed her sensei might be. She wasn’t always the sharpest tool, but she did have a constant supply of riddles being thrown at her from Gin...Yuno thought she knew just where to look and headed off to the river.
