Hi! Lilian here. I'm relatively new to the whole rp creation shabob, but thought I'd give it a try. I'd appreciate any comments, suggestions (on things to add/delete), and whether you'd be interested in such a rp!

  .....Immortality—once a myth, now a reality—unleashed when humanity unlocked the Pandora’s Box of innovation: nanotechnology. With nanites coursing through their veins, the wealthy elite could heal wounds in minutes, regenerate lost limbs, and even cheat death. While the rich indulged in this new godlike ability, the poor struggled on, scraping by in the shadows of towering kingdoms the rich built for themselves.

  .....And as decades turned into centuries, those with access to nanotech not only lived longer but evolved. Their bones grew denser, their muscles stronger, their bodies optimized for perfection. They became faster, smarter, and practically invincible. Immortality became a luxury only the elite could enjoy.

  .....But immortality came at a price. The world groaned under the weight of an ever-growing population, while death had slowed. The earth’s resources dwindled, and living space became a luxury in itself. Solutions to the overpopulation crisis seemed either too dangerous or impractical: colonizing other planets was a distant dream, and tunneling underground would destabilize cities already bursting at the seams.

  .....Faced with a crisis, governments across the world devised a brutal solution: natural selection. Immortality, they decided, would be earned, not given. A year of "schooling" was mandated for all, where the immortal elite and ordinary humans would be pitted against one another. It was a test of strength, intelligence, and resilience—a chance for the poor to ascend and the unworthy to be cast aside. Survival of the fittest had returned, but this time, the stakes were higher than ever: life eternal, or oblivion.

  Welcome to Darwin. A government instituted school where the 'Natural Selection Initiative' takes place. You are one of the many who've been districted to the school. Whether rich or poor, you will face these trials together. In order to ensure proper, any of those with nanites will have to go through extra screening in which their nanotech will be temporarily be tweaked for the proper experience! Do not worry. After the year of schooling is over, you will be given back control! And for those without nanites, you will earn a chance to earn nanites if you are on of the top scorers at the end of the year. Good luck and hope you enjoy the new school year!

  You will go through several ardous trials which will vary between individual work and teamwork. Based on performance, you will earn 'points.' With points, you can buy extra benefits and is also key in becoming one of the 'elite scorers' who will receive a prize and/or scholarship!

  Throughout 'natural selection.' you will be expected to choose between two roles in order to participate within the rp. The 'Elite' or the 'Inferior.' These will come with their own benefits and downfalls so choose wisely! (The 'strengths set below in the second section aren't set in stone. ex) a inferior can be stronger/faster than a Elite).

  The Elite: Born with higher bone density along with other characteristics, they've been coerced by the government to join the school. All of the Elite are, mostly, quite pampered, naive, and arrogant. It'll take them longer to adjust to this damned school. However, as they advance, their evolved traits will prove vital as they grasp the game and get ahead of the curve. (Most Elite will not be much stronger than the Inferior, however bloodlines with multiple generations of Elite will possess higher characteristics.)

  The Inferior: Born in the slums of the world, the Inferior have had to anything and everything to survive. Within the academy, they will find themselves adapting the fastest. They often will do anything to win the game: forming alliances, ganging up, etc. Though they may be 'Inferior,' they have high intellect and are quick along with being resourceful.

  While arcane history covers a wide range of sub-topics, Tala pursues an even less tangible specialty within it: non-written history, specifically in relation to oral tradition. This mainly involves rituals, stories, and her personal favorite, song. Magic has existed long before humans could record it, and evidence shows that knowledge and use of it predates most writing systems. What better way to remember a spell than giving it rhythm and melody?
