[Nations of Men] Spanish Palace of Communications

Finished in 1919, the Palacio de Comunicaciones was originally built to serve as the cities post office. When King Carlos de Fuentes I was crowned, however, he chose the apt looking building to serve as the Spanish Embassy.

[Helix Nebula]

A single 1910 Ford Model T, made it's way through the streets of Madrid to the Palace of Communications. It was colored black like most automobiles, and in the place of it's hood ornament was a small Banner of the Nation of the Confederacy. As the automobile parked near the gates of the Palace of Communications, a rather dapper young gentleman, wearing a suit and a derby stepped down from the back seat of the vehicle. The man adjusted his hat and had a glance at his surroundings, feeling somewhat amazed by the beautiful architecture of the Spanish embassy.


He walked up to the guard at the gate and took out his credentials from his suit's inner pocket, presenting them. "Um, right.. Hola!" He started, somewhat awkwardly- Then clearing his throat, the young man said; "Soy James Thompson de la unión confederada de América. Quisiera resolver con un representante de su gobierno. ("I am James Thompson from the Confederate Union of America. I would like to meet with a representative of your government.")" His Spanish was somewhat awkward, especially with his strong American accent. He looked at the guard and smiled politely, "Soy embajador. ("I'm an ambassador")"

The Grand Siamese Kingdom would like to send a representative to Spain to negotiate neutrality treaties and trade deals.

A pair of vehicles, produced in the Empire of the Shadow People, approached the embassy. Upon arriving, the vehicles stopped, and from the first one several armed Palace Guards exited the vehicle, in ceremonial wear, but armed none the less. They took positions around the second car, and opened the door. From the vehicle stepped forth Fenyang Ozzimer, brother of Ozzimer the 195th, and also head diplomat for the Empire.


He approached the embassy, trailed by a pair of his guards, and presented his credentials. "I come from the Empire of the Shadow People, to speak with my counterpart within these lands."
