For the most part , Australia had managed to avoid involvement in the war. But it did see how it ravaged the other more powerful countries of the world it seemed that had forgotten about the little island country for the time being , but news poured in from many other places of the millions that were dying. Near the end of the war Australia was called on to send help to Briton. However before it could mobilize its forces the war was brought to a sudden halt. The nations were reeling from the war and the outcome reminded the Aussies of a gang fight. Right now it seemed like everyone was out of breath and laying on the ground. However if it was like a gangfight then soon the fighting would start again , because if man was involved pride and money would keep this from ending. At this time Australian and New Zealand Presidents finished their negotiations. They had made a pact to help one another should war break out again. And they would take the time to re evaluate the wars that the others were having , and decide for themselves if they wished to help or not. This would be a new era for Australia , soon they would hold a larger role in this world.
It was then that ANZA was born and began to mobalize a military of its own. The world was in peices and someone was going to try to clean it up. ANZA did not want to be "Cleaned up" with the rest of the world and decided it was time to fight for everything it wanted. Propaganda from the new alliance and Presidents got the nations into a stir , a flood joined the military wanting to help the country. But it wasnt enough. ANZA needed to be larger , it needed more people to fight for its cause. Slowly it turned its eyes to the world around it. Did more of the nearby countries feel the same , Perhaps they could be recruited to fight for ANZA. The country stirred as it readied for war , and the diplomats prepared as the readied for debates.

But since the War, the English Commonwealth is a former shadow of it self, and many are divided what do with out 'proper guidance.' At this point the Alliance is divide on what to do both internationally and domestically.
