"Extraction!" Kiri said scared as they dragged her and Gaara to the ritual room Kiri tried to put up a good fight but they tied her up well. When pain summoned the Demonic statue of the outer path their theory was confirmed when two voices spoke out at once "NO! NONONONO DONT DO THIS PLEASE!" they said in unison. Pain looked at her "Ah so she finally speaks... Dont worry lost tail and its jinjuriki..." He said as each member would then stand on one of the statues fingertips, corresponding to their specific ring finger. "This wont hurt much.." Nine dragon-like effigies then poured from the statue's mouth, surrounded the captured hosts, and began to painfully remove the tailed beasts from them. Kiri began screaming in agony. Susamis seal was being broken infront of her and susami was backing up scared and being pulled away. "SUSAMIIIII!" she said scared trying to help and reachout to her. Susami was trying her best to keep fighting it.

Everyone had gone to another space of the cave but he still could hear Kirisuto shouting. Lan had no idea how he was still alive or why the Uchiha rouge nin had used his Sharingan before the ritual, but he couldn't fall dead and listen to her screaming anymore. Even if he was caught in a genjutsu he had to save Kiri. He sat and looked around to find himself left alone. Then he remembered that Gaara was about to get killed by the extracting process and hated himself for thinking only about Kirisuto at first. He had no way to stop the extracting. How could he stand against ten monsters at once?! Still, they were going to lose two biju and kazekage and Kirisuto and he couldn't live and let that happen. How could he go back to the village like that? He had to do something even if it was going to get him killed. If only he had something to make an explosion he could buy some time and maybe Shin and Tani would bring backup. Surely the village had sent a group to save kazekage. He started looking into his pockets and, to his demise, seemed that Sasuri had taken his weapons away. The only object he could find was the doll that Kiri had given him. He bet his life and destiny of the village on it and began charging his chakra into it in the way Kirisuto had taught him. The doll moved, stood, and took his form. Lan found a hiding place and closed his eyes then tried to see through the eyes of the doll. That was an imitation of Gaara's jutsu and he wasn't sure if it was possible for him to do the same but he succeeded this time. The doll sneaked to the other room and peeked in. He saw the monstrosity of status and ten members of Akatsuki standing on its fingers. He recognized Deidara among them. Well, at least he knew that that one guy couldn't protect himself against genjutsu. So, Lan tried to channel his chakra through the doll and cast genjutsu on Deidara. Lan wasn't strong enough to take him under control but cutting his connection with the outside world was the easiest thing he could do even through a doll. As for the result, Deidara's sight got bad as if black smoke was filling the cave and he couldn't hear or feel properly. After a minute, Deidara had lost his five senses and couldn't see, hear, feel, smell, or taste.

Deidata began freaking out trieggering the others to look at him when i said "MY SENSES... I CANT....WHAT THE FUCK!" Pain looked around at the others "DAMN IT WE WERE FOUND! HOW CAN THERE BE A BREACH IN OUR DEFENCES THEY MUST NOT KNOW WE ARE HERE! SASORII YOU MAKE SURE THE EXTRACTION IS COMPLETE! ITACHI SNAP DEIDARA OUT OF IT AND FIND THAT NINJA THAT..WAIT WHERES THAT OTHER NINJA! FIND HIM!" itachi got deidara back to normal and pain looked at him "and YOU!YOU FIND THE RAT AND TRY TO KILL IT OR SO HELP ME ILL KILL YOU 1ST! YOU AND SASORI BETTER NOT COME BACK TO HOME BASE TILL THE JOB IS DONE EVERYONE ELSE..." and with that everyone but deidara and sasori was gone.Sasori know pain was pissed at this interruption how could they forget that mouse?!

Lan could hear them yelling from the other room. He was glad that the ritual had been suspended but his chance to get in there and save Gaara and Kirisuto from beneath Pain's nose was zero. He felt cold in fear as heard him command his murder. The poor boy believed that he was finished. But, on the other hand, he was glad that Sasuri and Deidara had been sent to find him since none of them was famous for their sensory or doujutsu which meant he wouldn't be found immediately. He focused his chakra on the doll again. Now that Pain was aware of his presence he couldn't move that doll because that man would notice it right away. Once more, Lan wished he had explosives with him or at least knew a jutsu that could help him hide in rocks. Odd noises of wood moving on stone told him that Sasuri was getting near his hiding place. Speaking of explosives; Deidara had many of them but he was the only one who could use them. He crawled back into the cave to stay out of Sasuri's sight.

susami gasped for air along with kiri and saw she was fairly weak. it was still going but not as strong. Kiris body temperture was rising and she was slowly gaining consciousness of her body but was still asleep Huh so this was what its like to have sleep paralysis.. Kiri thought and noticed there was alot of noise and racket.she followed it and noticed sasori finding lan about to kill him till a kunal struck him revealing his puppet. Sakura ran up to lan as sasori was distracted "A-are you Lan! Were here to help!" Sakura said and kiri was happy then got an idea. Wait ...im knocked out but im like this soo... She tried to concentrate and when she noticed she had movement in her fingers ever so slightly she grabbed for a mini bladed fan. Oh forgive me gaara but this is for your own good. This is only for a little while so hopefully this will shut it off... she thought as the blades of the small fans glowed Sealing Technique: Vitality Seal Fans! and she threw one fan at gaara and put the other in herself. she gasped in pain but she knew this was the right thing right now. When using this technique,I can temporarily suppress the chakra of multiple individuals in the area around me. This might have cut the flow to that thing meaning... she then noticed it stopped and began going back to the statue YES IT STOPPED FEEDING OFF US! Then she saw her foxes running around the bodies making a protection seal. Good girls good thing this sealing technique only effects anything living and they are they only ones to know how to get it out.... she thought.

Lan's only hope was that the cave was surrounded by water and his style could benefit from it. He shook hand signs to create a water barrier between him and Sasuri while it seemed like that wooden man was looking another side, but he was mistaking and one of Sasori's dolls was shot up from beneath the earth right behind him. Lan didn't have time to even look behind. He had been killed for sure if one of the walls hadn't been broken down and a pink-haired girl hadn't smashed the assaulting doll. She faced Sasori confidently and Lan could say her strength was abnormal so maybe she was a good match for him. "They are there... in the other section..." Lan told the girl but knew that she couldn't leave the battle to help Gaara and Kirisuto. He had been saved but the fight wasn't over yet. He needed weapons and she seemed too busy to give him one so he thought if he could use weapons left from the broken doll...
Sasori backed off at first, wondering how many fighters had invaded the hideout and expected more people to rush in from the hole in the wall. But no one but a girl came to face him. "You are alone? Fine. I'll finish you soon and then go to get rid of the other pest..." He said as summoned more puppets to kill Sakura. Most of them were from the type that shot poisoned needles or slashed by blades.
Lan went to Gedomazu's room for the first time in person. It was easier than a piece of cake for Pain to annihilate him but he hadn't planned to fight the man directly. Before entering Pain's view, he performed his jutsu; Water style; Crumble! The water from around the cave moved up and crashed down at its ceiling making that part of the cave in front of pain crumble down and form a barrier between him and two jinchurikis. Lan didn't hesitate to see if Pain was going to destroy the wall and ran to Gaara and Kirisuto. He examined their pulses to see if they were still alive.

they were alive but barely..and kiri was running a fever. her reapot foxes knew cause when they touched their mistress their coats changed color from a white to a red. they had to get their humans out fast and they couldnt just leave the circle they were trying to protect them. They could hear the fighting from the other side and knew they didnt have much time they needed to get them stable before even moving them so one fox 'gently' nipped Lan and the other spoke "Can you make them stable enough to move? Our mistress has a terrible fever."

"I...I can't help two people at the same time..." Lan who was about to freak out answered. "I can't let any of them die but I don't know whose condition is more crucial..." He was at verge of crying when the rest of the cave gave in and they were almost in open air. If it wasn't for foxes' protection they would have been crushed under boulders. There was no sign of Pain to be seen. That man had left the area for a reason unknown to Lan. Then, he remembered what Sora had told them about Kirisuto. "If she falls she might lose to negative chakra...and then...what exactly will happen? She might harm three of us..." He reviewed for himself and decided to tend Kiri first. He placed his palm on her forehead and began channeling his chakra to balance the human version of her lost chakra.

Susami and kiri were trying hard to surpress the negative chakra. when she saw lans trying to keep her stable she smiled "Lan.. you made the right choice..." She reached and grabbed it and then heard sakura and chiyo running in and seeing the situation chiyo sacafising her own life to save gaara and the rest was somewhat of a blurr. All susami and kiri knew..was that THEY WERE ALIVE... weakened but alive. "W...we did it.. we broke that whatever it was... wait Gaara!"Kiri was worried about Gaara cause she saw they put him in more pain and she cut his line 1st. susami was desperate truing to find his scent. "Oh where is he.... where are they... the sealing stars should had worked!" "And if they did... im expecting alot...of yelling..I wouldnt blame him cause i messed up." Kiri said upset and susami turned and purred at her "No nonono you went beyond expectations..You tried to warn the others..You sacrafised yourself to protect them...Yes they were pissed at you but, they didnt know what we did..and guess what.. our sacrafise led to us finding them..and giving them a fright.. but now they know who we are.. " Susami was a bit anxious about that. "We will just have to train you better for situations like that.. for now we just need to know if their okay... wait.." they began to see fire and kiri began coughing.. "Oh no...the immune system!" susami said scared and looked at kiri "kiri hold on.


Temari and kankuro were relived that Gaara and the others were okay..but concerned on why kiri wasnt waking up temari felt her head and gasped "Shes burning up..whatever they did to her must have reacted with her immune system."

"I know..." Lan whispered as tried to stay focused. Lady Chio was dead and Haruno Sakura had already used up her chakra. He was the only medic left in the group. "We don't have the right medicine and any equipment here...we have to take her to a decent hospital...she is alive and that's all matters now..." He told Temari. Shin and Tani had gotten ready to take other injured members back to their villages. "He body hasn't been injured so we can carry her without worry. The only issue is her fever which I hope to decrease with stronger medicine." He added.

While others were fighting, Gaara was at Ichibi's place. He saw how the bounding of that sealed place was shaken and Shukaku was being absorbed out of it. The weaker the chakra beast became to nearer to death he was but he didn't have the power to prevent it. He wondered if everything was over and his life was reviewed by memories parading in front of his eyes. But then, something blocked the current as if a new seal had been established over the old one. He was so weak that lost his consciousness after that and when woke up, found himself between his people. They were out of that cave and a rather large group had gathered around him. Out of that circle, he could see Uzumaki Naruto looking down at a sleeping old woman with confusion and sadness. He got up and felt that his body was still numb yet he could move without help. He left the ring and realized that Chio was dead. Others told him about her sacrifice. There was another ring of people which had surrounded Kirisuto. Lan was still trying to heal her. He knelt beside her and held her hand. It was burning. "Kirisuto, can you hear me? We are going to carry you to the village. After some rest, you'll be fine." He promised her hoping that she would hear him and gains hope.

Kiri smiled but then saw susami shaking in fear.. "its him..that boy has him" Susami said scared. "Susu calm down...im sure if we talk it out.."

"Hey.." Naruto said and flicked a shurikin at him and smiled as he catched it "We found this in your arm.. Im guessing the girl had some energy to do somthing and seal it away from you somehow cause we found its matching pair in her arm. oh and um... why was she here anyway?" "its complicated.." Temari and kankuro said in unison as they put kiri in a medical puppet gently and carry her away the three foxes fusing as one and sitting on the puppet and after a while there was some 'ow..ow...ows' and the fox began tanslating the muffles "Mistress said she is very sorry for causing everyone so much trouble." Temari smiled "Hey fox we forgive her... she does things her own way and we just didnt trust her completely but now.. we do.." Kankuro nods "Yeah judging by the injury Gaaras shurikin with whatever she did was deeper.. so that means she was putting him first before her right?" The fox looked at kankuro "That sir, was sealing technique: Vitality Seal Formation..and yes..hense the fever.Also Mistress asks you nicely to be a little flower she feels like shes gonna barf." that was when kankuro stopped opened it quickly and kiri sat up and barfed nearby. yep he expected that. "We might have to set up camp eventually just to make sure her fevers down." sakura noted.

Tani was quickly attracted to the shuriken in Naruto's hand. "May I have it?" She took it and compared it with its pair. "I see nothing special about them." Shin said. "You're probably right." Tani replied. Then the fox spoke and Shin answered her after Temari. "The real trouble was caused by Akatsuki. I don't understand what Kirisuto san was thinking back then but she ended up helping kazekage sama so she must have made the right choice. It was my duty to protect her so it must be me apologizing after all." He said. Lan nodded.

The team from Konoha separated its way and went back to that village. Suna team had to carry the feverish Kirisuto and Chio's cold body back to Sunagakure. Although, they had stopped to set a camp since Kirisuto felt motion sick. Lan was measuring her fever again. "I think it's because of that strange carriage. If I carry her on my back she won't feel sick." Shin suggested. "That's the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard from you." Tani opposed it. "If we can't take her to the hospital quickly then we should take the medicine here." Lan said. "I got it. I'm going to look for villages and towns nearby and find what you need." Shin said. "I'll go to Suna hospital directly. Maybe what we need can't be found in small towns." Tani said. Lan scribbled a few medicines on paper and hand them each one.

Garra was resting in a small tent. He had asked others to leave him alone since the numbness was leaving his body and he could feel the pain growing. The injuries from getting exploded by Deidara, the old seal getting broken by Pain, and Kirisuto's sealing technique had been taken away by Chio and he was left with his confusing emotions about that old woman's sacrifice. He was worried for Kirisuto too. But somehow he was sure that she was going to be fine. He thought if a funeral befitting a hero could make Chio happy. Her grandson had been killed on the same day by her own hands and the only family member to attend her departing rite would be her old brother.

"That stupid Reibi finally showed her face." Naruto heard Kuubi's voice in his head. "Huh?! What was that about?" Naruto was baffled. "What's wrong?" Sakura asked him concernfully. She was worried if the incident with Gaara and Chio had triggered something in him. "Nevermind." Naruto shook his head and thought that he had to talk to Kuubi at a better time.

After a while kiri began to cool down after fixing the seal and woke up in the suna hospital. a nurse sighing in relief seeing shes okay. "W-wha?" Kiri tried to say as the nurse spoke up. "You dear were out cold for 2 days. The kazekage and the others said you were semi concious for a while.. even puking for a bit..but you eventually knocked out." Kiri blinked hearing what the nurse said and it came back to her foggy.. the mission... her trying to explain someone was there.. the confrontation. Her sacrificing herself.. she then felt like she was on fire. The lady gave her a wet cloth. "Easy.. we dont want you stressing to much. You did alot for us. Shall i tell your visitors youre awake? One of them though had to be... restrained..

A man was in a cell and the whole room was covered in ICE. when one of the more logical ones,a girl in a miko uniform, was able to speak they said "Hello Kazekage... I am Luna of the moon village." Temari and kankuro blinked Wait...did she just say... they thought. "I understand why you locked up Yumi in one of your cells for the time being hoever his reactions were out of love.. for you see he feels his sisters pain...and is pissed his father sent her out here without consent. We came all this way just to make sure she was okay."

"I could say it's a pleasure to meet Kirisuto san's family if it hadn't come down to this." Gaara replied as looked at the frozen cell. "Yet I'm glad you are here. She will be happy to see you." He told Luna. "She isn't a child and no one can hold her against her will. You must understand it. I assure you that she can protect herself and she has good reasons to stay in Sunagakure." He intended for the ice boy to hear him. "If your brother can be trusted I'd gladly send both of you to meet her. How can you guarantee his proper behavior?"

Yumi smiled "Well as we said we just wanted to assure shes okay..I..am..sorry for my behavior..if you were in my situation...you would understand my temper wasnt out of hostility.." "Dude.. relax we get it we were in that emotion a few days ago..." Kankuro said smiling. Temari nods "We are grateful for your apology and can we ask for a small favor. We are having a heat wave soon and ice jutsu is a rare talent." Yumi then nods. "If it helps me redeem my stupidity and see my sister.." Luna then bows "Thank you thank you ...hes an idiot but hes our idiot leader..."

Gaara glanced at Temari for a brief moment. He couldn't imagine her in trouble in a way that could make him worried for her. Probably because she was the oldest sibling and she always acted like the responsible one. Maybe Yumi was in the same situation. On the other hand, Luna was the talkative one, and she didn't respect Yumi as much as he and Kankuro respected Temari. Gaara couldn't decide which was worse; calling a leader an idiot or calling an idiot a leader. In the end, he assumed that he was strong enough to restrain Yumi of he loses his mind again. "If you want to meet Kirisuto san now, follow me." He led them to the hospital personally.
The same nurse from before looked into Kirisuto's room. "Your visitors are here~" She chimed and opened the door for Luna and Yumi to enter. Gaara stood at the door and stayed out of the family reunion.

"Loonie? Big brother?" Kiri chimed and Yumi ran over and hugs her "BABY SISSSSTERRRRRR" Yumi said whining and crying like a big baby. "I TRIED TO STOP FATHERRRR.. HE DIDNT SAY WHERE YOU WERE GOINNN I WANTED TO PUT A HOLE IN HIMMM!" kiri and luna looked at each other and kiri sighed and looked at the now shocked friends "Im so sorry that my brother caused any problems..." then she nudged yumi "Yumi... youre embaressing me...get off.." "And youre burning up... did you over do it on jutsu again!" He said annoyed looking at her when letting go. "If i DIDNT i would be dead..along with the kazekage.. and you would had done the same thing.Or do you want me to tell everyone in this room how you broke your leg cause i went missing for 6 hours?" Yumi stared for a moment and pouts. "Im....just glad your okay..."

Lan was approaching Kirisuto's room with a small folded paper in hand. He came to halt and waited nervously as saw Gaara standing at the door. Apparently, she had other visitors and kazekage was just waiting for them. Gaara felt his gaze and looked back. "Are you here to see Kirisuto san? Her siblings are here to visit her. I think it's fine if you want to join them as well." He told the boy since he assumed that The group in the room had already spoken their family talks. "I've brought a message for her. It's from Konoha. It's been sent by a bird so it's only one line...so it won't take long and probably won't need a reply." Lan explained. "A message from Konoha fo Kirisuto?" Gaara repeated with surprise. It would be fishy if someone important in Konoha had sent a message to the host of Reibi. But, at the moment, he could only observe things unfold since interfering would ruin the trust between him and Kirisuto. "Very well, go in and give it to her." He said. "Thanks..." Lan entered the room and faced the three siblings. "Hello...sorry for interrupting your conversation. I've brought something for Kirisuto san." He spoke formally but couldn't help being nervous. Then, he walked closer to Kirisuto and handed the paper to her. Only one line had been written on it: The fox doesn't care about a tanuki and a cat. It was Kurama's arrogant way to say that he wasn't going to stand between Shukaku and Susami.

kiri took it and looked down at the letter... but the moment she did her other eye pulsed..changing to a calm ocean blue..then both eyes began to water in happiness. "w....we can stay....we can stay....he wont push us out..." Yumi blinked but remembered the legend of their home "You mean... the nine tails? ...He forgiven her?" He asked and Kiri nodded trying to control susamis happiness. "Y-yes....shes so happy right now she wants to bawl.. but.." Luna chuckled "Were not at the teahouse arent we?" Luna noted... and after some silence kiri just full blown bawled "YESSSS WE CAN STAYYY! HISTORY WONT REPEAT ITSELFFFFFF!!!!" Yumi and Luna just laughed a little at their sensitive friend. But Luna then took out a card and placed it in kiris hand and after a bit it poofed into a potted plant with a cactus and it made kiri and susami happy. "Moon cacti! You remembered!" they said happy and Luna sighs in relief "Everyone you are welcome that i turned off the waterworks and now you know how the fuck to turn em off." Temari looked curious "She likes...Cacti?" She asked and Yumi looked over. "Shes obsessed with them. Her favorite being the moon cacti. And trust me you dont want to get her upset if you accidently break them... know from experience."

Lan was confused by the situation. He had no idea what Kirisuto was happy about and at the same time was afraid of Yumi and preferred to get out of his sight as soon as possible. It was only after Luna summoned a pot that he noticed her beauty. He didn't know a thing about that prickly plant but seemed like Temari was interested in it. Because of Kirisuto's sudden burst of joy, Gaara had joined them to see what had happened. "What were those screams about? A cactus?" He asked as the plants took his eye. Meanwhile, Lan sneaked out of the room silently.

luna looked at Gaara "She was crying cause the nine tails pardoned susami...meaning over time once their synced power is restored.. our duties as the host maidens protectors will be complete and she will be in the custody of whoever has the onetail as their wife cause our village vowed to help the no tail by not only proving she isnt evil she was just..confused.. but also giving her back what she cared for the most besides her desire to help others. her love for the one tail. And.." Luna looked at kiri who was almost back to crying but holding it in and talking to the cacti with a pink bulb. "Im gonna call you Rosetta and ill make sure you have a nice spot somewhere..." Luna sighs "If the ninetails pardoned her..that means we can beg-" Kankuro then put his hand to lunas face "Dont have to travel far...but let me get this strait.. YOUR whole duty... to control....whatever the no tails was.. was just to get her MARRIED! To the one tail?!" Luna nodded "You may think its a bit strange however Susami is Ying and Yang manifested.. both of her chakras must forever be in balance for Susami to be pleased. Before she was seperated from the one tail she would be in Yang CONSTANTLY around him to the point she made life as long as he was nearby just to impress him. and it worked...until she got mad for one moment and went into Yin...it wasnt her fault.. and yet she was exiled.. the tantrums on the island went on for eons..many hosts died not understanding susamis wish.." Temari nods "So just the tailed beasts..not the hosts themselves have to get married to calm her down?" Temari asked and Luna nodded. Temari looked at her brothers. "I think we need to discuss this..Afterll we still have to reward her"

Gaara would have rejected the whole idea if he hadn't seen two beasts playing around like kittens. He understood their deal and yet it was unfair to bend to the will of beasts. He wasn't sure about the future and marriage but he was sure that there were many to oppose him marrying Kirisuto. Also, she had no reason to have feelings for him. A forced relationship like that didn't sound right. "You put it really simply. But, I doubt if that's the only way to keep them satisfied." He spoke calmly as if he was talking about someone else's problems. "So far, Shukaku has been fine with frequently meeting Susami. For now, they have to be content with that. We might be able to find various ways to let them be together in the future."

"Gaaras right Luna.. and we were the ones to make the agreement..." Luna nad yumi looked shocked by that and kiri showed her hand "Ah ah! before you protest.. we all came to the freaking agreement Susami did throw a tantrum but she knew we were right. So she tolererated the moments she gets with that.. sand...racoon thing?..And in return i can get some freaking sleep without crying at night. So dont worry about Susu having a tantrum. Im not a fragile glass flower baby anymore..I proved my worth here and proved to myself and to Susu that i can control it." Yumi was silent hearing his sister but heard her voice was full of confidence. "Fine..we will let you and susami do as you please.." "YUMI!" "Its their agreement Loonie..you heard my sister.. have you ever heard her confident in herself? Now come on and lets let kiri have her nappy and discuss out community service." he doged a kunai. "Say that again yumi i told you im not a baby..." Yumi walked out with luna but had one more stab "Sorry my cranky wanky sis-" he dodged ANOTHER laughing as he left and kiri couldnt help but laugh as well. "Oh my god i never told off my brother before.. or luna.. that was so scary but felt so good..."

Gaara smile but very slightly. he thought how much Kirisuto had grown since the day her father left her with them. He went closer to speak to her in a whisper. "Actually...Shukaku is acting weird too. He must be happy about kyubi leaving him be as he pleases but he is so arrogant and grumpy that even his happiness is annoying." He said. In fact, Shukaku was growling about how insignificant Kurama was, to begin with, and he had never asked for his permission. "Anyhow...You're heroin of Sunagakure now, so your friends and family deserve a warm welcome." He added casually then looked at Kankuro. "Can you see to it?" He asked but Kankuro knew that his question was only a polite way of commanding. "Consider it done." He answered and went after Yumi and Luna to guide them in the village. When he was gone, Gaara looked at Temari and said: "I've left the office for a while now but there are matters for me to attend before I can go back.
