Kyogen closed his eyes for a minute as the cafe 'closed down', and the real work would soon begin. Rain pattered against the windows as the last customer was off and as the last plates were put aside. Honestly sometimes Kyogen preferred their front to their actual mission, but still, his sword thirsted for those that made him a missing nin, and he was sure so many of the young people he saved felt similar. He could at least let them stay ninja and to get stronger. Maybe strong enough to one day complete his dream. Sure, he couldn't always do it safely, but being a ninja wasn't safe in the first place. At least in the confines of these walls they had somewhere to call home. Rubbing the bridge of his nose, he waited for a few of them to gather around him for the latest missions.

Finally he spoke, trusting anyone who wanted a mission was there, and anyone curious was as well.

"Alright, listen up. I've got a few particularly dangerous missions to do, no one's requested, but its in our best interest. Funds are low around here, and hunter-nin high. I have a solution to both.

The first, if any of you are from the Leaf, you might have heard of Hiroshi Kohaku. He's a nobleman and mayor who with particularly deep pockets. He's obsessed with order in his city. He's been particularly generous lately, and has donated to the Daimyo to increase the number of hunter-nin and general ninja in the area west of the Land of Fire. The money's a problem. We're going to rob him for ourselves, and shut down his town's main income for a bit, the gold mind. Blow up the mine, rob as much of the gold in it as you can. I'll provide you with some sealing scrolls. Fuuka, would you mind leading this one? We NEED this one to succeed, so I'll leave it in your hands. I know it might not sit well with some of you, but surviving means doing what you have to.

The second, I hate hunter nin being around here, so I try to keep it clean. I can't save everyone, but that means I sometimes have to get... a bit nasty. A few puppeteers ran off with a prototype from the Sand. Naturally they fled East, because I can't have nice things. They recently have taken over a small town to the Northwest. The worst case scenario is the hunter nin defeat them, and a few run off, causing them to snoop around. I can't let hunter nin snoop around here for obvious reason. This is a risky mission too, but I need some of you to rescue to the village. It doesn't matter how. Kill them, scare them, make them further north, I don't care. Just don't let them end up running this direction. They shouldn't be too strong, but they literally have hundreds of hostages. How much that matters I'll leave up to you. Jun, you can call the shots for this one."

Kyogen finally stopped rubbing his eyes, opening them as he walked towards a supply closet.

"Remember to take your uniforms. A robe and mask if you are new. Helps identify us as Tsumi and stops people seeing a dojutsu or the like. More infamy we get as Tsumi, more jobs I might be able to collect. Means better pay, which means we can live easier. One day I hope we'll be enough of a threat to be left alone, but til then cover is the best defense we can take. Good luck, guys. Please come back safe. I know I'm not giving you the easiest of jobs right now, but I trust you won't make them any harder than they have to be. I'll be downstairs if you need anything."

Kyogen started off for downstairs, to the caves. He had to prepare himself for his own missions. He'd heard many rumors around, and that generally meant missing nin he could pick up. It was a little bit worrying to leave dangerous missions with some of the newer people here, but such was the life of a missing nin. Fuuka and Jun were.... interesting picks as leaders. Kyogen already felt his stomach doing leaps. They'd be fine... probably.

Jun Abe

As the cafe closed, Jun quickly ran to the back, picking up his coffin like something precious and walking to the meeting. He'd been dying for some action. Sure, being a waiter wasn't so bad, there were tons of interesting people, but it was so hard to get a good story out of them. He'd get yelled at for 'bothering the customers', or 'not working'. It was so annoying. So actually being a mission would be very much welcome. What he didn't expect, however, was to be placed in charge of one. For a minute, his heart seemed to stop, though he emoted nothing.

Sand ninja? Crap. What if Uemura is there... or sensei. Wait, they're missing nin. Those two wouldn't do what I did. Not nearly as much a monster as I am. So just some nobodies. I can deal with that.

Jun walked to the closet, and grabbed two sets of robes and masks, and looked at the others gathered. One was sucked into the back of his coffin. He gave a giant smile as he pointed at two people. Jun didn't like to get close to people. Physically, at least. Emotionally heaven help you if he started off a conversation, he could tell you his dreams for days.

"Hey, Tooya, Akane, want to come with me? I don't think I've had a chance to write about either of you. It'd be great to see you up close and personal. My skillset's probably nothing too impressive, but I love to learn about new people. I think I saw Tooya's eyes change color once, I want to know if I'm crazy. Wait. We're in masks... shoot. Oh well, come along anyways. And I wouldn't mind Akane's singing a bit, such a pretty voice. Oh yeah, and mission-wise. Guess we won't know what they are like til we get there. Do we want to do this violently or try and scare them? Or the third option? Maybe someone has a great idea! Well, let's get packing."

He didn't seem to even wait for an answer.

Akane
Finishing wiping down the last of the tables, Akane sat near Kyogen with a slight sigh. She and Fuuka were the newest among Tsumi's ranks, having spent most of the last few weeks recovering. She felt like she had recovered for the most part, but Fuuka... It was already a struggle for her friend to recover from something as simple as a cold. And now, she was supposed to be leading an attack on a strong supporter of the Leaf.

Grey eyes shifted over to the Uchiha before Akane quietly sighed. They were ninja, she had to trust Fuuka to be able to handle herself and her teammates to step in if things got too out of hand.

As soon as Kyogen finished speaking, Akane found herself bombarded by Jun's ramblings. This mission was going to be a headache, wasn't it? "We're really just better off killing them and being done with it." She stood and moved to retrieve a cloak and mask for herself. "Kyogen obviously doesn't see any reason for recruiting them and this way those hunter nin won't have any reason to stay in the area." But were these rogues really any different from them in the end? Akane didn't let herself dwell on it for long.

Surviving was all that mattered now.

Pulling on the cloak, she carefully hid her red hair beneath the hood. Perhaps she should dye it after this mission? It had gotten so matted while fleeing the village, it already had to be cut short anyway... Something to worry about later, she guessed.

Fuuka Uchiha

"Aww yeah! We're gonna pull off a totally sweet heist!" said Fuuka, pumping her fist. "I am so down. Takeshi, Izanami, you guys are with me then right? Ohhh we can have awesome code names! Shame about the robes though, slick suits would really be better for heists..." It was difficult to say for sure how much Fuuka was actually speaking to her assumed team mates and how much of her rambling was merely internal musings. You couldn't fault her enthusiasm though, as she bolted up from her chair, grabbed the closest robe and mask and then skidded around the corner to the living quarters.

Fuuka returned moments later, laden down with several rolled up scrolls doubtlessly full of weapons and other supplies. "Oh by the way guys we won't be able to leave right away, I'm going to have to do some stuff first and then I'll need time to recover my chakra," Fuuka rapped her knuckles against the side of her head and smiled self deprecatingly. "Otherwise I'll be nodding off during the mission and missing out on all the good bits," Fuuka turned to Kyogen. "Hook me up with those seals Kyogen sensei! or wait, do we call you that? Maybe Kyogen Sama? Tsumikage? That last one sounds pretty badass, I'd go with that. Anyway. The seals! We'll be bringing the gold back in them, so we might as well carry a whole lotta stuff with us as we go in right?"

The cave system provided the perfect balance for a comfortable living situation - well as perfect as living in the cave system could be. It provided a decent climate for her since her body was so accustomed to living in a land ravaged by what seemed a permanent blizzard (information she kept to herself.) She had done her best to keep the particular area she claimed covered in ice, with a lowered temperature than what the caverns naturally provided. The fact that it got no sunlight kept the ice from melting too much while allowing her the freedom to remove any of her clothing as she deemed necessary, though she generally kept most of her skin covered.

It also allowed her the place to meditate, focus, and train. Her training from her home had focused on her perfecting her natural talents and ninjutsu, to manifest the perfect assassin. Her training was incomplete, and one of the lessons she had left on was how to shape chakra. She had no trouble shaping it when it was through her ice techniques, easily making swords, or spheres or whatever she needed. She struggled with shaping any other form of her chakra, keeping her from being able to perform techniques like the rasengan. Though it could be said she didn't struggle with shape transformation, but other non-ice applications in general.

Either way, she'd continue her training even if it meant doing so on her own. So she sat in the middle of that ice encased room, her legs folded beneath her (indian style) with either hand extended out with a ball of what seemed to be snow, swirling about. Her eyes had been closed, as she was concentrating. The ball made a vortex-like effect, drawing in ice and snow in a whirlpool-like phenomenon. The ball would turn from the snow ice, into a blue energy, flashing back and forward between the two as she tried to gather it.

"You'll die like your brother..."

Echoed through her head as the energy began to get unstable, turning to a twirling oval before she turned it back into a sphere of ice, and clenching both of her fists. Her eyes slowly opened, revealing those pale blue irises that seemed to blend in with the rest of the whites of her eyes. Despite the arctic feeling they gave off, there seemed to be a fire burning within them.

She took in a deep breath, opening her fists with her palms up letting the now 'ice dust' slide off and on to the ground before she got to her feet. It was about that time anyway, she'd have to continue her training another time. She moved out of the cave and to the cafe, to join the others as she listened to Kyogen speak. A simple nod for affirmative was all she offered, not interested in either of the missions so deciding she'd return to her training...until Fuuka decided that she'd join their team.

She couldn't say no, well she wouldn't, so instead she obliged,"Right. I'll join, Fuuka-sama" she mentioned glancing over to Takeshi before bowing slightly,"Takeshi-sama." She lowered her hood down, revealing her icy blue hair, that was tied into a single braid before she reached her left hand up to her mask, and the right to the back of her head, before her left twisted slightly - a clicking sound echoing through the room. She slowly removed it from her face, revealing her entire face for the first time since she had been there.

Her lips that were naturally a light, paleish blue (as if she were dead) was covered in a deep blue lipstick, and any trace of a smile was absent from her face. She sat the mask on the closest table before moving to grab a robe. As she cluthed it, she immediately put it on over her own clothes, not seeing any point of changing it up. She moved her arms around a bit trying to check her range of movement, and when she was satisfied she moved to grab the new mask that would cover the top half of her face. But didn't put it on yet, instead grabbing her other mask and hiding it under the cloak, before glancing back over to Fuuka. She was...exciteable.

"I'm ready to move out whenever you two are ready."

Tooya Yumeji
Tooya barely bothered to wait until the cafe was closed before rushing to the meeting room with an unusual enthusiasm - though that was far from being visible in his always nonchalant face - rushing to arrive in the room as soon as possible after a quick stop in his room to change his clothing and fetch the things he may need. The reason for such an enthusiasm? Easy: There were rumors of an actually good mission coming out this time, the kind that could actually break the terrifying bleakness he felt - perhaps due to a remnant of his pride as a genius valued by a whole village in a recent past - whenever working as a commoner in a cafe rather than the Shinobi he was.

With that being said, this so called enthusiasm died quickly once he heard the serious content of the mission, that pointed out they would most certainly than not end up right in the middle of a troublesome conflict involving three different forces and a whole bunch of hostages - something that Tooya specially hated, as he couldn't help but have a harder time when making decisions involving the safety of innocents.

Even so, he didn't even think twice before nodding at Jun's invitation, stopping only to throw a quick, almost imperceptible glance towards Fuuka - the girl who came from his parent's (though he was not sure which) clan - at the mention of glowing eyes before making his way towards the closet, quickly gathering the signature cloak and mask that pretty much signalled the organization - the last things he missed, since his weapons and tools had already been fetched before coming to the meeting - and moving to once more join his "comrades", once more nodding his head them, though seemingly as a greeting and way to make his presence a bit more noticeable this time.

As per usual, from the start to the end not even a single word came out of his mouth.
