Basic Plot Overview:
In recent years, many groups and organizations have risen. Powers outside the control of any sophisticated shinobi village, for the first time in history, threatened to disturb the peace. One of the largest groups, Nirida Ungoru, held influence like none other. The terrorist group formed shortly after the Third Shinobi World War, and grew like a cancer. Nirida Ungoru spread a testimony of hatred and caution against those with Kekkei Genkai's, stating the true rulers of the five great villages were the nefarious clans that plunged the world into repeated wars. Their message was well received in such lands such as Water and Earth, with the others following after years of preaching.
Just a year after Orochimaru's attack on Konoha, the terrorist organization has stolen the spot light from all others. Attacks on the different Nations, with the largest being a raid on Iwagakure, resulting in the Sacred Stone being stolen, gave them notoriety. The most surprisingly event during the assault, which pushed the Gokage to meet, was the fact regular Iwagakure shinobi were eager to join with the terrorists. Some on the spot, and with investigations underway still, some were covert spies for the Nirida Ungoru.
The boldest attack occurred during the Gokage meeting. During a short intermission, several Kirigakure shinobi attempted to assassinate the Fifth Mizukage. The Gokage acted immediately, pulling their forces together and establishing the United Shinobi Task Force. The Task Force was designed for the sole purpose of hunting down leaders and supporters of the Nirida Ungoru and destabilizing the group before it could act again.
Rules (Subject to Change):
- You can make your character from any of the five great villages. We encourage diversity!
- Custom KKG's/Jutsu need a clear weakness or limit. Nothing is unstoppable.
- Characters should be well balanced when it comes to actual combat capabilities. Asuma's level, maybe a bit above it, is the general skill level we're looking for. If you're character is deemed OP, we can work with you to tone it down a bit if needed.
- Training and learning new techniques shouldn't be done over night. But we don't expect you to spend 3+ posts on them. Proficiency only comes after trial and error.
- We do have a few things that are limited, which include Dojutsu, some types of jutsus, and other types of fighting, but those will be addressed case by case.
- No character should have a particular close tie to canon characters. I.E. Deidara's little sister, Danzo's long lost love interest, or Mei's first husband. If you want to be related to a character, keep it either ambiguous and vague. We likely won't include many if any canon characters, unless of course we want to use them for plot points, but they won't be abused for anything.
- Combat will be done as realistic and fluid as we can get it to be, if there's a problem or miscommunication between RP posts, ask a question on what happened.
- Pending what it is, you might need to ask for certain jutsu. Such as forbidden or custom jutsu.
- The RP itself will have a 1 and a half to 2 paragraph post minimum. We'd like to see some semblance of effort put it, it doesn't have to be super detailed. Just something to work with when replying to you.
