Kiba had just finished a training session with his team, and he was now currently roaming the streets of Konoha. He looked up at the cloudless blue sky as he placed his arms behind his head as he walked. It had been exactly two years since Naruto had first left Konoha, and he honestly missed the guy even though he often took all the shine and the spotlight. He chuckled slightly at the memory of the chunin exams where Naruto had beat him, and it hadn't even been a fair win at all. He ran his fingers through his spiky brown hair that was just unable to be tamed at all. He had been out on a lot of missions as of lately since there seemed to be a ton of activity going on with the surrounding nations and villages.
He stumbled slightly as he broke away from his thoughts as he ran into a small black haired female who he immediately associated with Rai.
"Hey Rai!" He exlaimed excitedly.
He hadn't seem much of the girl as of lately since most of his friends that he knew of were very busy, and no one really had an active social life as of right now. He had missed hanging out with the bubbly and fun girl. She always had the best jokes to tell and he just missed her along with everyone else as well.
"So, how has everything been going? Anything new happen?" He asked
He shoved his hands inside his pocket as he stood there in front of the girl awaiting a response as he looked at her with a large smile that was always present on his face despite any type of situation.
Kaori was currently at the ramen stand where she spent most of her time during the week unless she was with friends, or she was out on missions. She thought of Teuchi and Ayame like they were her own family. She often came to them whenever she had any type of problems, and they would give her the advice that she needed. She was currently bored since there wasn't anything that she could do at the moment. She had gotten injured badly on her last mission, and it was suggested that she take a small break before going back out on missions. She knew that she would miss the thrill and danger of being on a mission though she knew if she wanted to get back out again then she would have to listen to her doctors this time around. She usually did whatever she wanted to do regardless of what the doctors and nurses had told her though it was a completely different situation this time.
"I'll see you guys later. I think I'm going to head on over to the hospital to get my daily checkup." She said.
She waved goodbye to everyone before she placed down the money that she owed for the ramen before getting up and leaving the stand. She stretched her arms high above her head as she walked. She had several bandages wrapped around her right arm as well as her right leg. It was basically the whole right side of her body that had suffered great damages. She looked up at the clear blue sky before catching a flash of yellow before her eyes focused on Naruto who was standing on a tall wooden beam.
"Naruto!" She called excitedly
She hadn't seen the boy in two years, and she was excited to seem him now. She could see that he had grown up quite a bit though she wasn't able to look him over fully since he was so high up.

Rai was hurriedly running around and working hard like always. She was quickly moving her way to the too the top! Her dream was to be an Anbu and to help the village as much as possible. As she was day dreaming about being in her Anbu outfit she was bumped into and nearly knocked over "Bleh!"
As she looked up a big smile automatically spread across her face. It was kiba! She was happy to see a friend, recently she had been to busy to he social, but that came with the sacrifice, but man it was good to see him. She rubbed the back of her head. "I've been good, busy like everyone unfortunantly." She said and smiled.
"How are you and Akamaru?" She asked with a small smile. She hadn't seen him in a long time, he hadn't changed too much, but he was deffinantly a man now. She shook the thoughts away and waited for his reply, her smile not leaving her face.
From the wooden beam that knuckle headed hyperactive ninja peered down, squinting his eyes to see who it was. Was it.... "Kaori?" He questioned and then jumped down to get a better look. He then chuckled and nodded "yep, it's you alright!" He said cheerfully as he put his hands behinde his head, grinning like the idiot he was.
Moments later he blinked a few times. He was just now noticing all the bandages on her. His face soon became serious and a small worried look on his face appeared "hey, are you alright? What happened?" She didn't look like she was in too much pain, but still... That was a lot of bandage for one person.
When he realized where she was walking to, he decided he would go along, besides he needed to see granny Tsunade anyways. Of course that would be his biggest exscuse, not that he was worried. Though he was worried, it almost reminded him of what happened to Lee.

Kiba was glad to see a familiar face after so long. He hadn't seen much of any of his friends in days though it probably had been weeks. It felt like years to him however. He was glad to see Rai. He let his eyes study her form for a brief moment. It seemed that she had matured and grown over the years since they were children. He had never really noticed much since he didn't spend his free time surveying and studying his comrades. He noticed how tall she had gotten, and how she had just the right amount of curves. Her legs were long and slender though you could clearly see her muscles. Her hair had also gotten fuller and quite thicker as well.
"You've changed a lot since the last time that I've seen you." He commented
He finally let his eyes drift back up to meet her own eyes. He wasn't sure if she noticed his staring and his roaming eyes. He was sure that she had though he hoped that she wouldn't comment on it since it would be quite embarrassing to be called out on such things.
He rubbed his hand against the back of his neck as he stood there in front of the girl.
"Are you about to do anything? Maybe we can hang out and talk for a bit?" He suggested
He would be glad to take some time out of his day to talk and hang out with Rai for a few minutes. It wasn't like he had more important things to do. Most of the things that he needed to get done were mere errands for his mother, and he knew that he could put it off until later. He knew that his mother would more than likely be angry with him though his social life was more important than some lame tasks that needed to be done.
"I mean, if you want to. It's fine if you have something else planned as well." He added on after a few moments of silence.
Kaori nodded her head with a bright smile on her face as she watched as the boy jumped down from his position on top of the wooden beam. Once he was standing in front of her she was able to get a better look at the boy, and she was amazed at how much he had changed within the four years. He looked more like a man rather than a teenage boy. You could clearly see his muscles through his orange and black jumpsuit. He had grew more than two inches taller than before. He towered over her, and his eyes were a brighter shade of blue. It just seemed like everything had changed.
"Wow. You look so different, Naruto." She said.
She couldn't take her eyes off of the boy, and once she realized all of the staring she had done a bright red blush appeared on her cheeks. She reached her hand up to rub at the back of her neck as she looked towards the ground.
"Sorry, it's just you look so different. I thought you come back, and you'd be the exact same." She said.
She looked over at her bandaged arm as Naruto commented on her injuries. She shrugged her shoulders as she though back on the day that she'd first obtained her injuries. She had been near close to dying that day, and it was one of the very reasons why she needed to take a break.
"I was on a mission, and some things had just got out of hand." She explained not going into much detail.
She placed her hands inside of her pockets as she walked alongside the tall male.
"So how does it feel to be home?" She asked.

Rai felt her face heat up at the compliment, as seeing his eyes wander. 'Is...was he checking me out...?' She wandered then smiled and played shy for a moment "y-you think so? I have been training exstreamly hard to become and Anbu." She smiled happily. She smiled at the thought and backed up just a bit.
"You want to hang out?" She asked blinking a few times and tilted her head. She thought it over and decided that she could afford a break. She have a big nodd and a sweet smile "a break would be nice, it's been forever that I've talked to someone, you know not about work."
She smiled up at him, "what'll we do, Kiba-kun?"
Naruto walked along side of her, wondering what was running through her head and why she wouldn't give him the full story.he shrugged it off. He then took the opportunity to look her over. Unlike his encounter with Sakura, he could tell that Kaiori changed. She deffinantly wasn't that same little girl... She was a woman. She was so cute too! He couldn't help but think she was perfect for him.
"You've changed too silly..." He ginned at her.
Now he addressed his last question "it's really reliving to be back... No more training 24/7, not to mention I missed everyone." He confessed and then grinned. It was hard work with Jiraiya, but it paid off. Naruto was stronger than he ever imagined. He looked to the sky, he couldn't wait to relax as spend time with all his friends.
