The artificially enhanced President answered the cries of his bodyguard as the dead lurched back to their feet and attacked the living. He knew his fate was sealed as the president was the first one bit... but how did this disaster of a attack happen? Who brought this onboard the space-station Icarus 2?
The Blue star mercenaries would be the culprits, unknowingly of course. They were hired for a standard delivery job, a shipment that was delicate and supposedly valuable to the point it was sought after by pirates and terrorists across the galaxy.
A large pay day seemed to be the case and it essentially was... however only hours after the delivery was made and payment secured. While the Blue star crew was still docked at Icarus2, said shipment exploded with a ancient nanotechnology infecting all within the blast radius...
Unknown to the blue star mercs, they had been a pawn in a terrorist plot to shake and ultimately destroy the planetary alliance. They need to evade both sides of the law and the undead to find evidence of their innocence and maybe bring in the real mastermind for good measure.

Should you choose to play you would be making a member of the BSmercenaries. Human, alien, I don't mind so long as they can fit in a ship, serve a purpose and communicate effectively.
As its sci-fi fantasy, knock off whatever tech you like from whatever fiction. Just know it may need a change from its original source material.
Lightsabers/laser weapons being the most powerful melee option but powered by expensive batteries being a example.
Im ok with abilities similar to star wars or mass effect but there would be some limit. No one able to shoot electricity with one hand whilst choking someone with telekinesis using the other hand all the while making a big animal do your bidding via telepathy.
The main party would consist of five or seven members, but the ship would be maintained and run by a different crew of ten or so. Not to say the pilot can't be a kickass gunslinger who does missions on ground aswell, but generally the engineer and skipdrive mechanic etc would be on ship.
Its a somewhat serious affair but expect dumb shit to. Like having to pay a subscription service to your preferred weapon manufacturer so batteries/bullets/packs/etc can be teleported to you on the fly provided you are in range of one of their satellites.
Post requirements is two paragraphs or more once a week, ask questions or claim you want to play below. I'll make a cs page if two or three people show enough commitment to the idea that they want to play beyond typing two or three words.
