Name: Jasmine (Min) Yukarai

Bio (Needs to be at least 3 lines long): Min's, or as she knows him, Morkari's, older Sister. Grew up in Tokyo until she left for "college" as she told Min and their Parents. She and Min(Mori) always got along extremely well for siblings, even though they were opposite genders. During Highschool she took Kendo classes, which evolved into training in use of a Wakizashi when she started learning magic. Just after she graduated from the Academy, she died saving Mori from a falling wooden beam. She cast a spell as she died, merging a portion of her soul with her brothers, so she could still protect Mori when she was gone. This did cause a bit of changes as he grew up though, resulting in his very neutral look gender wise.

Now having taught Dark Arts for 5 years, after being revived by the same headmaster she had been under during her own years at school, she plans on retiring after this year. Well, more like taking a 2 year vacation. Then she hopes to switch over to teaching White Magic, which is what she specializes in. She recently even got a letter from her brother, saying he was coming back to visit before Jasmine "went off to take her vacation somewhere he knew he'd never find without her telling him."

Magic Specialization: Healing Magic, Though she also studied White Magic in General along with Dark Arts; specifically she looked into Dark type Magic Attacks, and dabbled in Necromancy.

Combat Skills: Adept at the Wakizashi, and can use a Katana well enough to train others in basic use.

Weapon: Dark Magic Infused Wakizashi.

Personality (At least three sentences): Overall a kind person. Though she is also very quick witted, an unafraid of a challenge. Jasmine does become bored pretty easily, which is easily seen when she messes with the ribbons on the hilt of her Wakizashi. A favorite pastime of hers is to act ignorant to tease certain types of people. (Cough-Clair-Cough)

Likes (At least 3): Enjoys nearly any kind of challenge. Reading; surprising for someone who can't sit still for long periods of time. She, oddly enough, also enjoys meditating. Loves almost anything Fantasy.

Dislikes (At least 3): Sitting still for lengthy periods of time, Movies or Books tend to be an exception. Missing a meal. Sleeping longer than needed, why sleep when you can do things?

Strengths (No more than 5): Being near her brother seems to almost strengthen her Magic, as if she becomes more confident. Needs less sleep than most, allowing her to have more time in the day to get things done, and train in or study magic or her sword skills.

Weaknesses (At least 2): Accepting nearly any challenge HAS had it's drawbacks in the past. Not having at least a general idea about her brothers whereabouts or safety causes her to worry and stress out. She would willingly sacrifice herself again to save her brother.

Having been a magician for around 5 years now, Morkari has matured. Slightly. He still tends to not see or notice a lot of the more subtle social queues, but he's learned at least when he isn't noticing them. Women? Still clueless. They could be flirting with him in the most obvious of ways, and he'd be 100% clueless. His nearly gender-less looks, that still are around even today, are back from when his sister had died saving him from a wooden beam falling near a construction site. Unbeknownst to him, she cast a Necromantic spell at the time, inserting a portion of her soul into Morkari, merging her's with his. Years later, he grew up and attended the Magic Academy where Magnus, the headmaster, revived her. Morkari has since gotten a bit more masculine, if only voice and facial feature wise. Though most people wouldn't have had this much of a change past 20, he has gradually had multiple small changes these past 5 years, especially the most recent year, ever since his sister was revived. Now, he's come back to visit his sister, who is still teaching, or is until the end of this year. He does intend to try and join Merlins Guard now that he has traveled for a year once he's back.

Magic Specialization: Formulated Magic Attacks

Combat Skills: Has learned over the years how to utilize a pair of Tiger Claw gloves for close combat. It also fits well with his inner self, as when cornered, the Claws become even more deadly, as he attacks without restraint or regard for the danger to himself. He has enchanted them with magic that "extends" their reach; so they can appear to have missed you, but in reality, they still leave their mark...

Has also dabbled into Elemental magic while in Africa. Mostly the more destructive elements, such as Fire and Lightning. Though he has learned enough to form a small wall of Earth quickly enough to be useful as a quick, albeit fragile, defense.

Personality (At least three sentences): Less introverted than he was a few years ago, but still terrible when it comes to Women flirting with him. Also tends to not realize when they are do so either... Otherwise, he has matured a good bit; He's much more likely to initiate conversation than he was before, though his Sisters teasing personality trait has rubbed off on him a bit. Him and Ratel (his Spirit Animal) constantly bicker with each other like siblings who are teasing each other; not truly arguing or getting angry.

Dislikes (At least 3): Writing more than is needed. Arrogance. (Yuna doesn't count really, her arrogance is actually kind of fun to watch.) People who take advantage of others.

Strengths (No more than 5): Is willing to confront any danger to save a friend. Has a Unique way he casts his magic, though this uniqueness has actually allowed him to become much more Adept at Attack Magic than other Magicians at his age

Weaknesses (At least 2): He never became all that great at defensive magic, though he most certainly can cast it well enough to fend on other, similarly strong Magicians as himself, anyone who is a bit more Adept at Attack magic could easily break his Wards and other defenses. If his sister was in danger, he'd easily surrender himself, or an item, to save her. If he himself was captured to get to her, he would kill himself first. He will not allow himself to be saved by her in the same way as before...

Misaki...A person who can see the future through cards and draw scenes that seem to have a trickle of a future. She hadn't meant to begin drawing, a past time of hers from when she was younger, but it picked up and gained her a bit of fame. Any drawings she drew of the future, of anyone's future she met, she kept and didn't reveal it to them. She had only done it once and the person narrowly escaped their determined fate, but said person came back and accused her of trying to kill them. It was then, she kept the paintings or drawings of anyone she had met and was familiar with.

Misaki is still the weary eyed student from so long ago, but wiser from what her cards have told her and what life has thrown at her. She is...friendly in certain terms but pseudo-apathetic on other terms. She has desensitized herself to how cruel the world could be, having seen death and caused a death early in her life, but it doesn't mean she isn't without feelings. It has just gotten harder for her to express them but she still is the same old person.

Dislikes (At least 3): Misaki loathes her readings including her in some manner or another, people being nosy in her private life, and stalkers.

Bio: It has been 5 years since the day Hector discovered that he was a mage. It had changed his life a lot more than he expected and in ways he could of never predicted. Now he's living with Roxie his girlfriend of 3 years who he was his roommate during the time he was in the academy. Added on top his work as a writer has improved by a lot since he has been able to cut down on writing time thanks to the use of magic. Thanks to this within only a few months he was at book signings with loads of fans waiting to get a chance to speak with him. It seemed that a lot of people loved to read about the adventures of a group of students at a magical school with strange professors and magical creatures everywhere. It was a simple concept but most wondered why his work seemed so real from how it all is described.

Sadly life as a mage does have its downsides with constant threat of being attacked by rogue mages and templars but Hector hasn't been able to deal with it so far. Besides anything he can't handle Roxie tends to just burn to dust.

Combat Skills: Due to the nature of his magic he tends to overwhelm his opponents with large numbers of phantasms, spirits, and insta kill spells.

Personality (At least three sentences): Hector has grown to be a bit more spontaneous and not worrying about the consequences of his actions too much. It still has stopped him from thinking carefully about things but it does even him out a bit. At the end of the day though he still is the guy that whenever you need support he is willing to give it at a moments notice. Just don't take this as weakness as he knows when he is being used and will not take kindly to this.

Bio: In her youth, Clair was a bit of a rebel. All through her normal schooling and on until perhaps her second year in the Academy Clair was well known for starting fights and was hauled in to see the principle on multiple occasions and even suspended on one occasion due to the damage she had dealt to her opponent. By no means was Clair a bully, however, no she only participated in a fight when she herself was the target of aggression. Yes, she was easily pushed into the fight but she was never the instigator. Which is probably why nothing past suspension happened.

Clair was an alright student within the academy. She performed alright in all subjects but she didn't really excel in any until Combat classes and of course, pyromancy was thrown into the batch. In these two subjects Clair more than excelled, she went from an average student to top in her class. In her time studying at the academy, not a single person from her own year group bested her in combat. In fact, it took the top in the class two years ahead of her to end her victory streak. An admirable feat that earned her a spot in the defending corps/ battlemages following her graduation. It was during her training with this group that the higher-ups became aware of her true potential.

You see up until this point no one had really focused in on pyromancy, yes it was thought with a broad brush in the academy and yes Clair showed an affinity for it but after being properly trained in the art she accomplished something very few mages in history ever had. She conjured up the hell flame. A magic flame that burned a black and blue colour, could take physical form and burn hot enough to effortlessly melt through steel. It was remarkable and she was encouraged to enhance her magic through focused practice. And she did just that.


Time went on and eventually, Clair came to do what all battle mages do. A templar. Rare to most mages nowadays not to those sworn to protect others from them. Clair put up a good fight for her first battle but ultimately lost. Following her loss, she trained more strictly and developed her own fighting technique to make use of her unique magic. Following her return to combat Clair took the lives of many a templar and upon reaching the age of thirty she was invited back to the academy to teach and provide on-campus security. She accepted and well that's where she currently works and resides.

Clair is extremely skilled in combat. Not only is she perhaps one of the best pyromancers the academy's ever seen but she is also skilled in using almost every kind of weapon to some degree as a result of her magic. Having spent a lot of time as one of the Academy's battlemages/defenders following her graduation Clair can more than hold her own against multiple enemies and it is in fact against multiple enemies that she shines. She has the highest training the academy can give and in times of great trouble, she is sure to be called upon.

She enjoys playing pranks and annoying her colleagues and can also be very often caught skipping her own classes to do so or to sleep. Clair, however, is an excellent teacher for what it's worth. She prefers a hands-on approach and can turn a complete rookie in combat into an actual threat with very limited time. Minerva has spent the past few years studying intensly within the Academy. Following her graduation Minerva became her fathers apprentice and ever since has been rapidly increasing in both power and skill. Magic Monthly has placed her as the 'Mage To Watch' In this years publication of top ten up and coming mages. Aside from that she has taken time to both celebrate and accept her fathers marriage.

Personality

Minerva is a caring and passionate person much to the likeness of her father. She has often been found tending to injured animals and on more than one occasion has injured herself trying to carry out such an act.

Minerva is also a very curious soul and takes the pursuit of knowledge very seriously. She can almost always be found reading or writing, trying to unravel and make sense of those very things she has yet to understand. She very much enjoys reading and loves nothing more than to slump down in a chair before a roaring fire and read to her heart's content. While in class she also pays very close attention to everything she is being taught and is quick on the mark to both ask and answer questions. Her homework is always immaculately done and in terms of magical practice, she takes great time in perfecting any assignment she is given to that regard.

Outside of class Minerva is quite up for any banter that comes her way but can very much struggle at times to fit in and more so than not she can very much find herself assuming a personality to please those she's with. A habit she's determined to break but is struggling hard to do so.

Biography

Minerva was born as the sole heir and daughter of the great Magnus Youngblood who raised her singlehandidly to be the very woman she is today.
Her life has been spent in diligent study and for the most part, she's been kept away from people of her own age! Alas, Minerva is very much happy with the life she has thus lived and would do anything to pay her father back for everything he's done for her up until this point in her life. This year she's turned 21 and she's finally allowed to enter the Academy and study magic. It's been a long time coming but it's finally her time to make her father proud!

Bio (Needs to be at least 3 lines long): Magnus is a mystery to pretty much all of the magical community to all except for a few. His past is shrouded in deception and confusion with many stories that seem to not add up. Frankly all anyone knows is that at some point he had become that headmaster of the academy . No one was sure how or why but he was proven to be the best for the job. In time he had finally married his former apprentice, Alice Evermore. As such so as to not deceive her she has become one of the only people to ever find out who he really is. He even shared with her his secret for immortality that no one else knows about.

What have you been doing for the past year:
Following the years after his marriage and his daughters graduation he has spent most of his time working on being a good husband to his wife and a good mentor to his daughter who he has taken on as his new apprentice. Doing all this and still managing to run the academy and be the head of the mages council.... Do to all of these things he has been considering on whether he should retire as the headmaster to free up more time in his life.

Magnus is well over 10,000 years old, in fact he was one of the first magesever to practice magic. He has done well though to keep himself under the radar so as to not have this discovered over the years. In fact as of now he would be considered the old living mage in the world. As a result he was there for many of the magical discoveries in history and was involved with the creation of the academy.

Merik has always found it hard to fit in. His parents always moved around since his father was in the military and his mother worked on base to help out with receptionist duties and paper work. He never had many friends in school and when he did find some he was always given the same unfortunate news, they were moving again. He hated it and he was incredibly happy that his parents let him stay at his friends house suring his senior year so that he could finish his 18th year alive the way he wanted. On his birthday he had awakened to his abilities and decided to show his best friend what he could do since he'd been practicing. His friend didn't handle it so well and went on to call him a freak. Merik didnt understand how horrible this was at the beginning but by graduation he final understood, no one would ever accept him because there was no one else like him. He left his friends after graduation and made for different scenery.

Even in new places Merik saw the same ignorance and unacceptance that he was treated with back at school and so he decided to hide it. He took to the streets of L.A. and became a performer to make ends meet. He was pretty good, he could do most card tricks and could even do the fire tricks without the special materials. He thought he could be the next Chris Angel with all of his tricks getting crazier and crazier until he learned a hard truth. He learned that the special dont have a place among the normal people in society all thanks to a man who would chase him off his usual performance streets and into abandoned locations in town. He was only able to get away with the help of someone who said they came from the Nexus Academy who said they could show him how to properly utilize his "gift". He'd never heard that word used to describe his powers before but he liked it. He followed the man to the academy. The rest is history.

The Academy taught him how to hone his power and how to use different "magics" for different uses in the outside world. He was thankful to the teachers and did his best after that. When he graduated he decided to become a freelance mage, a caster who could be hired for many different reasons and purposes. He hates the moving around but he doesnt mind the money. He is never broke and he never has to worry about his next job because there are always people in need of his services be it the Council or The Battle Mages. He tries to avoid confrontation with Templars and rogue mages and never accepts work from "The Order of Discordia" or whatever that group of human hating extremists calls themselves. He visits his parents when he can but he always seems to find himself visiting the academy in his free time when he's bored or needs guidance.

He will always give people a second chance but never more than once and if someone lets him down or betrays his trust he will never forgive that person. Yuna spent most of her life in a small orphanage at the heart of Korea. She never met either of her biological parents, and was mainly raised by the orphanage's directress- Madam Kim. The woman brought her up with an iron fist, just as she did with the rest of the children, and taught her how to handle chores and the likes at a very young age. However, Yuna was unlike the rest of the children. She had always thought that she was meant for bigger things; that she was meant to be somewhere grander than the cramped halls of the orphanage.

She experienced severe bullying when she stepped foot in high school. Perhaps it was because she was an orphan, or that she was very full of herself, but Yuna preferred to think that she was bullied because everyone was jealous of her.

Upon graduating high school, however, she suddenly received a strange letter which opened a brand new door for her. Her stay at Nexus Academy was a wild one. From the very first day to the last, Yuna certainly had uncountable fun experiences and certainly left an impression in the academy. Although she is neither the brightest student nor the strongest mage who graduated from her batch, she still likes to claim that she is the batch’s Top Star Student and the academy’s Best Alumni.

Bio: Lavigna led a very lavish life in the 'normal' realm. She was born and raised in a household in which she was basically spoon-fed with everything she needed. She fell to partying, drinking, and serial dating people simply for their wealth. Her downfall arrived with the mysterious letter from Nexus Academy which she carelessly filled out. At first, after arriving at the said academy, she was beyond pissed because of the drastic difference the academy life provided her compared to her spoiled lifestyle. However, her years of studying inside the school offered her with many opportunities to recognize her faults and change own self.

Nexus Academy has become a huge part in her life which is why she took up a teaching role inside the special school. She dedicated herself to helping problematic students in improving themselves and, of course, disciplining rowdy students.

And she said all with a smile, which sort of scared some people. While her adopted daughter Chouko made sure those who weren't used to magic thought it was just a trick of the light with her music, getting a scolding from said person for doing that to her dad.

Chouko, now 24, had accomplished much in five years. The first thing she did while she was still in the academy was write a book, about her tale in the forgotten village that is now beneath water. It was quite a hit in the mortal realm, and beyond that, she published two albums and was on her way to a third when a painting was sent to her. Obscure and bleak, she knew her twin had sent it to her. The future was bleak and tarnished, and she had to flee. She fled, with all her instruments and luggage, and came back to the academy.

Thoth is a cynic, stoic, and loner. He does things by himself and has never relied on anyone (other than Magnus). As he does not like to rely on others, he has an unusual prideful side. Thoth refuses to accept anything he considers pity, sympathy, or charity.
Clair describes his personality as "rebellious and loner-prone." She also says that he has the nature of a petty criminal and spineless goon with which Yukino instantly agrees with. She is the first person to point out his rotten eyes and mindset, and that he has a sour attitude.
Yukino and Clair often used words such as gross, disgusting and creepy to describe Thoth.

Thoth is sometimes described as "twisted" by others who meet him because of the pessimistic way he thinks and the solutions to requests that he comes up with. He often explains his thoughts by using examples from his own life experience by saying "Source: Me". He often blames society and other people for his personality.

Thoth has a self-depreciating, sarcastic, as well as observational style of humor. People who know him and his way of thinking can understand, while others may feel pity for him. Other people are often uncomfortable with his style of humor. Despite being self-depreciating, Thoth can act quite vain, sometimes claiming that he has a nice face, or that he is a nice person for not seeking revenge on bullies, and that he would be a desirable husband.
Thoth firmly believes that nothing good happens to him and forces himself not to hope for something that is not existent. He makes others hate him as a way to keep himself distant from others so that he won't be disappointed or hurt by their superficial acting. Thoth dislikes superficial acting just to blend in.

Personality:
Yukino is a very calm and passive woman, almost never losing her cool regardless of the situation. The only time she loses her calmness is when the situation is beyond her ability to cope, such as when Clair lost control of her magic and fought against Thoth.
Yukino is described as a very mysterious woman, as many who know her have a difficult time telling what she is after. She expressed excitement when the Order of Discordia Emerged, primarily knowing she could gain a large amount of information from their appearance and taking an interest in Magnus' powers due to the many mysteries surrounding him. According to Magnus, Yukino tends to take an interest in anything that is considered "rare", such as Clair's powers and various Demons she can use for her experiments. Even Demons have a hard time understanding what she's after.
Despite her mysterious nature, according to Magnus, Yukino is a very kind and cheerful woman. She is normally kind and polite to everyone around her, even those she does not know. She also has a motherly side, treating Arthur as a mother would a son and was deeply saddened over his death.
Despite her usually kind and calm behaviour, Yukino knows when to be serious. As when regarding the revival of the Templars, she scolded Thoth for taking the situation lightly.
Yukino loves knowledge above all else. Because of her desire to learn everything, she suspended her own age to have all the time in the world to study and learn everything. For that reason, she regularly takes excitement whenever she has the potential to learn anything she does not know about. Because of her desire for knowledge, Yukino is a very shrewd and intelligent woman, being able to calmly assess the situation at hand no matter how dire it is as well as explaining the mechanics over any form of creature or magic by heart. However, Yukino is not above acknowledging when she does not know something or when a situation is beyond her capability to understand.

She appears to have very little modesty, as Yukino has no problems wearing very little in public or even allowing Magnus to give her a massage while she was taking a bath.

Unfortunately, due to her smarts, as well as a show of good will, she was accepted into the Nexus Academy of Magic. Even though she didn't like it at first, Elora came to realize that there were perks to going to the Academy. As one of the very few non-humans to be accepted to she was treated like royalty among her kin. Elora graduated with good grade. Unlike many of the human mages who went back to the outside world, Elora stayed in Haven and became apart of Merlin's Order. Currently trying to work her way up through the ranks

He had worked hard to make sure that his people were always treated fairly and had there chance to speak up about anything they were concerned about. And finally after much planning one of his most ultimate goals (recolonising earth finally was passed). Bio : Despite his magic originating from Norway, his family lived in a humble neighborhood in an even humbler home. It was small and compact, with his room basically being the size of a closet. As such he developed over the years a mindset that he would accomplish great things, that same idea being adamantly reinforced even more as his gift bloomed into fruition.
It happened around the time after his fourteenth birthday, as his parents were cleaning up the remnants of his party alone by the sandy shores. The sun glared at him sitting on the bench, the heat intensifying as time passed by. He longed for the cold atmosphere under the cool shade of the forest, but no, his parents had told him to stand guard as they fetched around town asking for another pair oc bags for garbage. And so here he was, being barbequed to death as time wore on. And just as he thought he couldn't take it anymore, a wind more frigid than anything he ever felt brushed against his hair. He looked up alarmed to see the once beautiful orange sunset torn asunder by a black hole. Inside the gap, frosty mountains and an everlasting darkness lommed above along woth a face that expressed utmost annoyance. Then, just as suddenly, the portal winked out. He shuddered and shivered with revulsion until he let the darkness take him, and even then the images wouldn't leave him.

Magic Specialization: Yggdrasil's Magic, or more commonly referred to now these days as realm magic. This branch consists of linking between other worlds. Usually, one would not specialize in this magic as it had no obvious offense mechanisms and took insane concentration. However, Max took it upon himself to change that. Although, he did meed a little help.

Combat Skills: He once participated in a taekwondo class, but found he was only good at evading his opponents attacks, of which, he was eventually beaten.

Weapon(s): A lightweight stave fashioned straight from the bark of Yggdrasil.

Pet : He wasn't much of an animal person.

Spirit Animal: The eagle, similar to the original one that roosts atop the foliage of the World Tree

Personality : As much as Max liked to think of himself as this shining and glimmering white knight emanating bravado and courage, he was suprisingly shy. He would often glance towards the world outside and avoid people's gazes if it was okay, though, usually a small stone crafted from guilt settled at his stomach. This caused him to distance himself from others easily, but those who did try to make an effort to befriend him would be dumbfounded at his utmost chipper and ecstastic persona.

Bio (Needs to be at least 3 lines long): Not a whole lot is known about Seiko though if your curious about something she'll tell you. She refuses to use magic to slow down her aging. She doesn't really see the point in it at this point in her life. She's taught at the school for quite a while and her class is about magical/supernatural creatures.

Personality:
Seiko is a strict woman and does not tolerate nonsense. Though she can be kind even though it might not seem like it. Seiko does have a temper but she doesn't get crazy, she'll yell and might throw a few insults but most of the time she'll just give you a dull stare then wack you with her staff,
not enough to damage but it does hurt.

Bio:
Warrick while young was thought to be the last of his family's nobly lineage. His family taught him everything he needed to know on how to control his power and when he mastered all their skills and techniques his family labeled him a genius. He had never ran into any problems with templars but they were still very much a threat and so when he reached his mid 20’s he had started teaching at Nexus to help prepare the students for anything they may face in the world, especially the templars. When he started to reach his 30's he met a normal human woman who showed him a life beyond what he knew. He decided to give up his family's wishes and his position at Nexus and made a family for himself. His son never matured into a mage and he was content just being a normal human. He still used his magic from time to time to help people here and there and still went to greet The Council, The Order, and the Race Representatives but he was firm that he would return to the magic world only if there was a crisis that effected both the mundane and the magical.

Warrick's wife passed just a little over 10 years ago but he continued to live the life the same way without her. He mourned her and moved forward but remained on his path of living and dying a normal man. He continued to visit his son and daughter-in-law and his grandson no matter where they ended up moving. His grandson like, his son showed no signs of maturing into magic so his worry lessened with the thought that no one else in his family would have to deal with the hardships that come with being a mage. His fears were thought to be gone until one day just a couple years ago he visited the Nexus to find his grandson attending classes. He never greeted his grandson but he now knew that his fears would be realized no matter how he tried to hide it. He decided he would tell his grandson of their lineage and let him decide for himself what life he'd wish to lead. To his surprise Merik decided to keep it a secret and said "Grampa, you had always looked so happy just being normal and to be honest i don't know what i would do as a Royal to instead im going to live as me. I'll continue to just be me and you continue to just be you!". After that Warrick was overwhelmed with memories of the days he spent with his late wife and his family without magic, just living freely not weighed down by the power and responsibility and cried for the first time since his wife passed. He keeps in contact with his son and grandson and continues his carefree life as always. But he still watches for any signs the Templars might return in force.

Combat Skills: Warrick is a master in hand to hand martial arts and can fire projectiles from many angles through sheer skill with his abilities. His augmentation magic helps provide him with the power he needs to strike powerful blows without using any form of weaponry.

Warrick is a stern man. He is stoic and can be incredibly stubborn and doesn't allow people to dictate his actions. He will stand behind those he trusts and be completely ruthless with those he see's as an enemy. Loyalty is important for him both in peoples loyalty to him as well as his loyalty to Magnus and the council. He is not someone that should be angered because that is when you really learn about the power he holds and just how dangerous he can be while wielding it.
