Light vs. Dark. Order vs. Chaos. Hope vs. Despair. Good vs. Evil. You ever notice how most conflicts in Legends and/or on the extremely big scale fits in those sorts of categories? at least how the fighters would paint it. well one such conflicts happens around us. probably skirmishes going on as we speak. you see since life came about and started feeling things two races have come up. The Guardians have been pushing humanity forward with it's instinct to boost more "positive" emotions linked to hope and usually take the form of small furry animals, however they are quite powerful and not to be messed with. Similarly the Disparias drag humanity to the brink of annihilation with more "Negative" emotions linked with despair. both have come up with various and sundry weapons to lob at eachother. usually involving the very mortals they were born from. The latest is useing the next generation. you know those magical girl type stuff coming from japan? the Guardians are using that sort of stuff though Disparias also creating monsters and recently corrupting said magical girls and turning them into witches. the deeper the corruption goes the less human they are. however it is eerily the same for those who swing to far into Guardian territory...
A Island city state named Arivus is the current center point of the war due to a major lay line (or life/magic/emotional energy source) intersection. it primarily acts as a trade middle person but has a few natural resources and abit of farmland of it's own.
