Fantasy {{Mystery of Shadows OOC}}

Good luck, poppet~
Gonna be annoying rn, but iPhone X i'm pretty sure wouldn't exist during the apocalypse outside of the dome, nor would currency of any high form xD Being a Zillionaire would only work if you were in charge of a natural resource like clean water etc. I mean your vampires come from outside of it, right?

Also there ain't no cell towers left I'm pretty sure :p

Ofc, you would have to check with our overlord poppet poppet

To be fair, the Salvator family has been living for like a thousand years collecting money... plus they own two companies... xD

Ye but, have you ever played Fallout?
Or seen any of those Post-Apocalyptic movies like MadMax? Anything to do with the aftermath of Nuclear Annihilation?

*shakes head*
Well, in this scenario the government collapses and so does the economy - and thus the value of gold and paper currency is useless.

In other words, when an economy goes full-on Mad Max and we're all reduced to bartering, the survivors are going to be more interested in useful goods than in a soft metal used for the most part for ornamental purposes. Part of gold's value as a commodity is derived from the fact that it can easily be traded across borders. But if that were no longer an option, and you were reduced to using ammunition to buy a baguette, it wouldn't really matter what people in China or India were willing to pay for your gold.

In the habitat of a post-apocalyptic nuclear society, we would also be back to the caveman period - Nuclear devices sometimes give out electromagnetic pulses which leaves some electrical components/appliances fried, reducing the amount in circulation.

Men would revert back to tribal societies, and agricultural to survive. Companies would be non-existent unless they provide necessities such as caravans for moving supplies; mercenaries; couriers for messages; farmers; etc.

Alongside this, through the decay of knowledge, there would be no available cell towers that would be compatible with a mobile phone of such quality - mobiles in pristine condition are worthless artefacts basically and would probably be useless due to decomposition/how long it's been. Radio waves, on the other hand, would still be operational if you had someone who knew what they were doing.

Basically the "Rich" would own not money, but influence or monopoly over necessities and the whole world would look a little like this
post_apocalyptic_city_by_graffiti_freak-d4tch43.jpg

But crawling with mutants and those supernaturals who survived (;

Oh my gawd.

Uhm.

Did not expect that in the picture. o-o
Man, the world got n u k e d, you can't rebound from that type of shit within a 100 years or even 200. It lasts for like, millennia

On the other hand, I'm gonna go shower and reply in like 10-20 minutes

What kind of head injury is it? Cause if you need stitches hopefully it isn't an edema with swelling in the brain. Poor poor character.

Just a nasty gash on the head and minor concussion (:

Oh nothing much Emi! Patiently waiting my turn again. Waiting for the ultimate freak out when Zero sees me and thank goodness it is just a gash and minor concussion.
