Myself and Somas 1x1

Goats In the trees.
It was just another new school, but the same old town he grew up in. He sighed softly and ran his fingers through his gorgeous dark brown hair which was styled in a quiff. Noah scanned the halls with his caramel colour eyes, smiling awkwardly to those who looked his way. He'd kill to be back at home in his bed right now, but he'd already avoided going for a week but now, he had to go. It was hard for him to make friends, he'd never seen any point in it as this was his 5th school he'd been to. He'd probably end up moving again within a matter of months, his Father had to travel around a lot due to his job. His Mother had died during child birth, he blamed himself but knew deep down it wasn't his fault; it wasn't anyones. So it was just himself, his Father and his older brothers Sam and Dean.

''Noah Winchester,'' he mumbled as he asked for his new time table, and a map of the school. He was used to this, but god it'd gotten boring after so many times. ''Here you are!'' The receptionist said cheerfully as she handed him the piece of paper and the key to his locker. ''Thanks,'' He said softly before taking the two items and disappearing back down into the what seemed like never ending hallways full of teenage dirtbags, including himself. He could feel his anxiety beginning to kick in with the amount of stares and glares he got from complete strangers. Is there something on my face? Oh god..I'm breathing to loud aren't I? From then on, he avoided eye contact with anyone completely. My first day and I' already the school freak..great fucking start.

Another great day he had to spend in school. Fox huffed, adjusting his bag on the shoulder and walked into the school. Well, it wasn't that bad, to be honest, he was just really lazy. He was quite smart, but learning was a pain in the ass and he wanted to focus on things he really enjoyed. Like, for example, taking pictures. He was one of the students that were commemorating every event on pictures and putting them on school's website. He was known for not moving anywhere without his camera, and this day too, he had it in his bag.

When he was on the way to his clasroom, his headteacher called him, that there is a new student in his class and to give him a tour. Fox was friendly and like to meet new people, so he didn't refuse, changing his route to look for the new student. He knew almost everyone in school, at least by sight, so it shouldn't be that hard.

It was very easy to notice the new guy, since he didn't look very self-confident, with all that looking at the ground while walking, and map of the school in hand. Fox trotted closer to him and patted him on the shoulder, with friendly grin on his face.

"Hey, you're the new guy, right? I'm Fox."

Noah wanted the day to be other with already, he wanted to go to his lessons and just leave. At least here nobody knew a thing about him, and it was a fresh start. But it also made him feel isolated and lonely. He'd only been there 2 minutes and already he was a wallflower. He'd always ever been a wall flower though. When him and Fox were young, Fox would always take the lead- he was the brave one; not Noah.

Hearing a voice, he looked up and turned around, feeling a hand on his shoulder. He didn't quite recognise Fox at first, they had both changed so much since they were 11 and climbing trees, looking for insects to capture and keep as their 'pets'. He missed those days. He missed his best friend. He missed Fox, the one he could tell anything to and not be ashamed nor embarrassed.

''Fox?..'' Noah pulled his eyebrows together, grinning slightly as he stared at him, clearly overwhelmed.

Fox scowled for a moment, looking at the other boy. The brunette clearly looked similiar to someone and he was sure that they had met eachother, but he just couldn't place that event in his past. It all became clear when he heard his voice.

"Noah-boy!" He exclaimed with a wide smile and hugged his childhood friend shortly. "Damn it, man, I thought that you moved out for good! How have you been? Where were you? Why weren't you writing to me?" He knew that he probably asked too many questions, but, god, he haven't seen him in ages! No one could expect him to be calm now. He often thought about Noah, especially when he was visiting places they used to go to together.

He laughed gently and hugged him back, clinging onto him for a few more moments before they pulled away all together, he ran his fingers through his hair. It was a habit of his. ''I'm okay..I'm good!'' He chuckled, listening to him, his smile then faded. ''We move around so often I never got time.'' He said sadly. ''Sorry..'' He mumbled, realising he was looking up to Fox, who was quite a bit taller than him. He raised an eyebrow.

''God you've gotten tall,'' He grinned.

"It's okay." He smiled back, patting Noah on the shoulder, letting him know that he understood. Sometimes he was jelaous of Noah, because he has seen so many different places, and he was still there, living in the same old town, same old house and almost nothing changed in his life while his friend was away. "So, are you staying here for long?"

He laughed at the mention of his height and rubbed his neck with embarassment. "You know, it runs in a family." He admitted. Honestly, he was the shortest in his family, and he had three sisters. "You should see Katie though, she's even taller than me now."

Noah nodded, glad that he understood. He then raised an eyebrow, ''I'm not sure..I think we're here for a while. Dean and Sam have work or some shit,'' He laughed nervously, admiring his now grown up friend. He wanted to stay permanently, but he just never knew with his family. They were always hopping from place to place, they were staying in a motel until his father could find a house or apartment for them all.

He smiled, watching as he did so. It was awfully cute. ''She was taller than me when I was 11, and now she even taller?'' He laughed, pulling his sleeves over his hands anxiously, like the nervous and shy kid he had always been.

"I'm glad then." He replied, smile constantly visible on his features. He was a huge optimist, so it wasn't that hard to do and he was known for clearing people's mood with his presence. "Well, you should take a walk around the town sometime. You'd be surprised how many things could change."

Fox nodded. "Yeah, well, she is like 2 inches taller than me. It really is upsetting, to be honest." He snickered, fiddling with the clasps of his bag. He took out the camera and turned it on. "Say cheese, Noah-boy!"

Noah laughed as he watched him pull out the camera. He remembered how Fox always loved to take photos when they were kids, on a small camera he could remember it vaguely. Despite being shy, and a little self concious he didn't protest. He knew Fox was the only one who would see the pictures, so he allowed it. He smiled widely, looking into the lense. His smile was gorgeous; as was he.

Fox adjusted the settings and snapped the photo. "Expect yourself to appear on the school's website." He joked with a grin, putting camera back to his bag. The camera itself was bigger and much better than one he head as a kid, but he still was taking pictures all the time, literally, so it was at least one thing that haven't changed.

"So, do you have any plans for the evening?"

He raised his eyebrows. ''Wait, what? No..Fox!'' He protested, going to grab the camera out of his hands quickly, but he missed as he put it back into his bag. He pouted, and looked to him desperately.

"Relax, I'm joking." He replied, laughing at him. He couldn't stop himself from laughing for a while. "You should see your face, it was brilliant!" He added, closing his bag. "I don't put photos on the website if the person on it doesn't want me to, so don't worry."

He let out a massive sigh of relief, then shoved him. ''Don't do that.'' He muttered, and wrapped his arms around himself self consciously.

He laughed joyfully, defending himself from the shove, and patted Noah on the shoulder. "At least that haven't changed." He stated, smiliing. "Come on, Noah-boy. I'll give you a tour around school, so you wouldn't lose yourself later."

He growled ever so slightly, then rolled his eyes and went on to walk beside him. ''Won't you be with me then? Later I mean,'' He asked. Noah had always had quite a temper on him.

"I don't know." Fox shrugged, walking through crowded corridor. "I can be, but you should get to know the school anyway." He adjusted strap of his bag on his shoulder. "Unless you don't want to."

''I know that,'' Noah rolled his eyes and sighed as he walked with him. Glancing at the people around them now and then. He didn't recognise anyone; at all.

They walked for a while in silence, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. Fox had so many questions to ask Noah, and he just had to take care of mess in his head that was caused by his sudden arrival, because, well, he thought that Winchesters wouldn't come back here.

"So, here is the canteen. I don't recommend getting food from here though, it's horrible. Trust me, I tried." He said, stopping in front of glass door. Behind them, there was a quite big dinning area with chairs and tables, where students could sit and eat in peace.

Noah looked around the big, crowded canteen. Students laughing and eating food everywhere; one couple practically eating one anothers faces. He raised an eyebrow before turning his full attention back to Fox. ''Wouldn't dream of it.''' He nodded.

"Maybe you should take some notes or something." Fox laughed and turned on his heel to start walking in opposite direction. "There is court outside and this way you can get to the sports hall." He gestured on the glass door at the end of the corridor. "And, you know, we should hang out sometime. I live in the same place, so make sure you will drop by one day." He smiled.

He looked to where he pointed and then away. He didn't really care where anything was, he didn't care at all about school to be frank. He had always been like that though and felt that way about it all, Noah just wanted to travel the world. ''Will do once I have the time,'' He winked then laughed. ''No.. I'm free whenever and able to go where ever.''

Fox glanced at his friend with slightly amused expression, crossing his arms over his chest. "Well, that's something new, Winchester." He said, grinning widely. "Aren't your older brothers bothering you anymore?" He arched his eyebrows questioningly, waiting for an answer. It was their general problem when they were kids - Noah's brothers always took him somewhere and they couldn't spend time together.

''Nah,'' he shook his head and shrugged. Glancing around once again at all the fellow students. He then looked to Fox with a dull expression.

"Well, whatever." Fox shrugged and then stretched his back, a few joints popped. Then he reached to his bag, took out a piece of paper and a pencil, sribbled something on it and gave to Noah. "Here, my phone number."
