Other My Very Own Fakédex

That's right! Over the next however many months it takes, I am going to be creating my own Fakedex using my own custom region. I am going to mostly be using type combos that have never been used such as Fire/Poison and type combos that have been used but only in one way. (Ex. Heatran is Fire/Steel but there are no Steel/Fire Pokemon. Same weaknesses I know but I'm OCD and see it as a gap that needs filled.) This includes every Pokemon, from evolution, and mesg evolution from bulbasaur clear to volcanion/hoopa. It also includes mega Sceptile/Swampert and both Primal Groudon/Kyogre. It will be updated as new types from Omega a Ruby and Alpha Sapphire come out, but those are the games I'm stopping at. Any new type combos they use after ORAS will not be taken off of the list.


I want your help coming up with ideas for various type match ups. I honestly have no clue where to start on certain type match ups and I would give you credit in the Fakedex entry. I'll be updating this with an list of currently unused types (including match ups that have been used just not in a specific order). I'll have a separate tab for each type of match up so there's no discrepancies of which ones haven't been used and which ones I'm being OCD on.

  Obvious title has obvious meaning. These types have never been used in any circumstances by Game Freak/Nintendo. Some I can see why since they have so many super effective hits against them, but others seem like they should be in the game already *cough cough fire/poison, dark/electric cough cough*. I'll definitely be using all of these combos whether to add an evo/ mega evo to an existing Pokemon or to create my own.

  So this is all about type match ups that have been used, but not in a specific way. it's is not about the effectiveness, as switching the primary and secondary type around does nothing to defensive effectiveness. This is about creating possible evolutions /evolution lines. Using the Heatran example, say I wanted to make a unique ground type evolution. Steel/Fire has not been used yet therefore having the steel Pokemon evolve into a Steel/fire Pokemon would be unique in its own way. I will make a note of type combos that belong to specific Pokemon, a mega evolved Pokemon, a couple Pokemon in an evolution line, or a whole evolution line. I will have a list below the tabs that shows these. You must realize it means the flipped version of what I have on the list. I'll have the Pokemon typing beside the name(s) just in case. It's the same concept as Ground/Fire will be on the list but Numel and Camerupt will be on the unique evolution line type combo list. Basically if the Pokemon/ Mega Evolution/ evolution line on the list did not exist, the type combo would be on the Never. Used list instead of flip flopped onto this one.

  EL= the whole evolution line has this type combo. Will list the final evo.
  
  
  ME= a mega evolved Pokemon is the only Pokemon with this type(only if the mega itself had a unique typing. For instance heracross and it's mega are both fighting/bug and therefore will be placed under evolution line. Venusaur as well since the mega retains the typical grass/poison typing.)

  Egyptian lore based Legendary Trio. Here's some ideas I had feel free to add to it.
  
  
  Ra based Pokemon- the solar Pokemon- fire/electric
  
  
  Apophis based Pokemon- the chaos Pokemon- poison/fire
  
  
  Anubis based Pokemon- the mummy or mummified pokemon- Dark/Rock or Ghost/Rock (since mummies were buried in stone chambers and the like... Dark because he's not god of the underworld like Osiris but has some dark qualities, ghost maybe just for the sake of him being undead)

Thank you very much I got the idea for a Fakedex from a site online phoenixdex.alteredorigin.net. I got the idea for the type thing when I realized you can literally make a whole pokedex with using just unused type combos/ specific type orders.
