Hey! I'm rather new to this site (and, to be honest, I don't post that much on forums in general), so I have no idea what I'm doing formatting-wise. However, I've done lots of text-based roleplays, so don't let my newness scare you off!
Anyways, I've been developing a world that I'd like you to explore. It's called Olhan, and it's steampunk-ish high-magic fantasy.
I do both romantic and non-romantic roleplays, and I do MxF, FxM, and FxF romance (for those wondering, I'm male.) I don't expect or want long, drawn-out paragraphs, but at least a few sentences per message is preferable.
I'd love to discuss potential RPs in Olhan with you! If you're interested, please reply with a character name and description (with one of the races in the Google doc and optionally a magic proficiency from there). If you'd like an example of how a character might be written, take a look at this page (It's mostly notes for myself for a story I'm planning on writing, so formatting is up to you). You are totally allowed to make stuff up about the world in the roleplay if the information is not stated in the document, and that's even encouraged! If I like it, I may even ask you if I can make it official/canon. (Is it called canon if it's not a fandom?)
And I'm totally up for other roleplays! PM me for those, though.

I've got a few other starting plots in the works, but here's what I've got so far:
You wake up in a moonlit forest. Unfamiliar, spindly trees with teardrop-shaped leaves surround you, their branches swaying slightly in the wind. Their translucent, ruby-red fruits glow a dim golden color from the inside, casting an orange tint over the forest. You try to remember how you arrived in this place, but the last thing that you can recall is going to bed. You shift to sit up and as you do, you hear a young woman's voice whispering quietly to itself from directly above you. You look up and you see the owner of the voice staring at you: she's crouching on a tree branch and clothed in some kind of light animal hide. When you see her, she goes silent. You stare back at her; she has short bloodred hair, reddish-brown skin, pointed ears, and angular eyes with navy blue irises and slit pupils. Behind her, a long tail with skin the same color as her body's twitches back and forth curiously. The girl leaps off of her branch, landing gracefully near you and approaching cautiously. She is almost unnaturally tall and thin, but that seems to be more because of her race than anything. She looks down at you curiously. "Who are you?"
