I really enjoyed it, had a few plot holes but was good for the most part. Some genuine touching scenes. There was one character that annoyed me for being too perfect but luckily they kept them out of the film for the most part.

I think it was pretty well self contained. I think the rules the movie set at the beginning prevent to many plot points. However, I agree with your point about that one character. I'm glad she spent most of the movie not in the movie lol.

Just they have yet to encounter ANYTHING that remotely seems to be an obstacle for them, tanking some hits without flinching and just giving a boring blank expression for most of their scenes.

Yes, I do agree with all of that about that character but the third act was awesomely awesome. I hope we get to do something similar just on a smaller scalel

You thought it was a subpar movie or because of the
deaths?
In my opinion, which is not final, as i've just seen it: If you'd take every scene separately, they were all done correctly, scenography was pretty, etc. I have a problem with some of the inconsistencies that were present, but okay, I'll allow. My biggest issue was the asspull of a way they did it in. Granted, it was a very tasteful and nicely done asspull, but still i was pretty 'meh' about it. Also, people were saying that some scenes moved them to tears, but I pretty much predicted what is going to happen overall, so the movie didn't really impact me in an emotional way. It was just mindless fun. Also the 1st hour could've been just skipped, it was boring.

Also, I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't hate THAT character.

I mean its note Hate, there just way too perfect and it makes them boring, heck in end game they could be cut out entirely...and outside the scene at the start? nothing would really be changed. As for emotional ones...the biggest for me was the Very first scene, THAT one? That was Cruel and Harsh as hell.

I don't HATE that character, I just want them to have something that can actually test them instead of them being able only injured by a macguffin and even then only for at most a few minutes

OH YEAH. I agree with that, I just had the urge to just leave the theater then and there :v
Yeah I know, It's not hate i get it. It's werid, cuz I agree with most of the criticism against the character, I just still like them.

I get their personality, its just ive seen that personality alot in fiction so its kinda of generic. But the worst part? they didnt even show any flaws...like in the comics?
There absolute certainty in their own righteousness bites them in the ass and turns people away because when they make a mistake they will not admit that since they refuse to believe they did anythign wrong....and when its proven? they break and double down. Thats her in the comics at the moment...but its at least a flaw when its shown to be one....if they are always right? just makes them Mary Sue'ish

Well yeah I'm not into comics at all so I don't really know about that aspect.
And again, I agree with everything you've just said. Dunno, I've always hated Mary Sues, yet I like this one.

TLDR Civil War 2 had that character go full authoritarian locking people up who haven't actually done anything because they may in the future.

It's not far to bring to bring up Civil War 2 in an argument talking about the movies.

Yeah, Kenji is a lovable idiot and it really fits with the dynamic between these two. I really like it! A fight between them eventually would be nice.
Kenji is being bullied and I want to see more.
