𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬/𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥/𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥)(𝐈𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞): Warren is able to turn his body into insects. Any insect. Individual bugs burst out of his flesh, while swarms require large swathes of tissue to be sacrificed. Because of this, he wears bandages around his forearms to hide the grotesque nature of his ability.

Warren’s bugs follow his every command, they’re an extension of his will. When he’s finished with them, they return to his body and meld into his flesh as if nothing happened. If bugs die, or go missing in action, Warren is left with a flesh wound that could take days, or up to weeks to heal. So Warren avoids overusing his powers unless absolutely necessary, or else he’d be left without limbs or organs.


𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬: M9 bayonet knife strapped to his hip. The inside of his jacket is lined with talismans and symbols of protection from every religion, no matter how niche. Statistically, at least one of em’ has to work.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Reserved and aloof. Warren believes in cleverness and trickery over brute strength. For this reason, he never carries a gun, seeing them as more of a crutch. He’s friendly, but not overly animated or emotional. Deep down, he does possess profound care for his friends, which does slip through the cracks. The voice of reason, at times.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬: Composed, Level-headed, observant, agile

𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬: Bad at reading people, Distant at times, Scrawny and weak with a low intimidation factor. His demeanor can make him seem arrogant, or condescending. His abilities are a source of shame, and he doesn’t like to use them around strangers.

BACKSTORY: Years ago, famine broke out in a backwater farming town. The harvest had been decimated by a swarm of invasive locusts. When the farmers discovered the source of these bugs, it left them with more questions than answers. The locusts flocked around a toddler wandering around the ruined fields. He summoned them. Some villagers claimed that he was possessed by demons. Others thought he was sent to punish the town for their sins, like a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah.

Either way, it wasn’t long before news of the infant and his freakish powers reached the cartels. A particular syndicate saw merit in his insects' as a torture device. So the crime family cared for him and he lended them his powers in exchange. He used the most painful stingers and venom in the world as a means of extracting information, and punishing those who dared to oppose the syndicate.

This went on for years. Until Warren, at age 12, was recovered in a police raid. The anomaly of a child was handed over to the BPRD (Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense.)

Warren is now 22, a BPRD agent. He now uses his powers in the fight against chaos.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲!): Scrawny kid with a brown wolf cut. He wears a BPRD issued jacket and tank top. His forearms are wrapped in bandages.

Goals/Motivation:

Billy’s primary goal is to bury his past life. To achieve this, he heads West. As far away from The Colorado as he can get. He gets by through mercenary work, since fighting is his only marketable skill. He dreams of saving his caps and possibly buying his own ranch, hanging up his sword for good. There is nothing he fears more than someone digging up his past.

Personality:

Billy is a brute, which makes him fit right in with the other mercenaries. He’s gruff, blunt, and jaded in the same vein as your average blue collar worker. As a youngster he learned that sensitivity was weakness. So he bottles it all up. Any attempts he makes at expressing love or affection are awkward

In Billy's mind, might makes right. He tries to do the right thing. Tries. But he has a predisposition to using violence and threats to get his way, even when it’s for a noble cause. These days he’s mellowed out, only flying off the handle when he’s under pressure. If it’s easier to solve a problem with his sword, he will.

Billy's been trying to keep the word "Profligate" out of his vocabulary. He carries the guilt of his atrocities as a legionnaire everywhere he goes. He tries to right his wrongs where he can and help people in need. He's even begun to see women as people.

Backstory:


“You’re my brother, Taurus.”



All was quiet in the village of the Painted Rocks. Suddenly, distant war drums sounded on the horizon. Strange men carrying red banners marched into the village. Their ultimatum was clear, join or die. And so the Painted Rocks became the 75th tribe conquered by the Legion. This was Brutus’ first taste of life in the wasteland.

Brutus was indoctrinated by the Legion at a young age, brought up under the teachings of Mars. A strong comradery formed between him and another boy from the 75th, known as Taurus. Together, they fought, pillaged, and bandaged their way across the wasteland, before answering Caesar’s call to conquer the Mojave. They rose through the ranks, becoming centurions. They had the scars to prove it.

Brutus is now marked as a traitor and a deserter by the Legion. All due to an incident involving an escaped NCR slave, and a now deceased Taurus.(MIRP) These days, he's a drifter who takes up mercenary work under the alias “Billy.”

Appearance: Scraggly black hair with a scar across the bridge of his nose. Two upper ear piercings.
