"Mia! Don't forget that I won't be able to pick you up today after school! You are going to have to ride the bus!"

"Okay, mom." Crestfallen, Mia Valera left the house on her way to the bus stop. She was still drowsy from lack of sleep, but her dread for the afternoon bus ride home waked her effectively. She wasn't the most outspoken nor social, so Mia was always sitting alone. Since her morning bus and afternoon bus were different, Mia was at least lucky enough not to have to deal with the group of students on her afternoon bus that enjoyed harassing her.

Reaching the bus stop, Mia sat down on the nearby bench. There was a light breeze and some falling leaves landed on her head. Sneezing, Mia brushed it off and started to daydream a bit...

A coyote could be seen walking through the neighboor hood digging through the gsrbage cans. He hasn't been eating in a few days due to a low population in his game. Attempt after ateempt to find some fod failed. He walked through the backyards of houses to not be spotted until he saw a girl sitting on the bench. Sneakily truying to get by as to not spook her and get on with his day. A loud crack was heard when he stepped on a stick but he stod still as to not atract attention.

*snap*

Jolted out of her daydream, Mia turned to see if one of the other kids had arrived at the bus stop. Looking around, Mia noticed a very realistic looking coyote statue. The fur looked so soft... Suddenly, it dawned on her that the coyote statue wasn't there before... and that it wasn't a statue!

"Aaaahhhhh!" Mia screamed and backed away fast. Unfortunately, she wasn't aware of her surroundings and an oncoming car almost hit her when she stepped into the street accidentally.

*BEEEEEEEEEP* "WHAT ARE YOU DOING??! I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU?!" The angry driver rolled up their window and drove away.

He ran away and hid behind the bench she was originally sat at.While the teo were busy with each other he could smell some food from the car and ran in. He jumped into the car and tore the food apart. His stomach growled in approval of the meat and food. He sat on the drivers seat and just turned hisnhead to the side in confusion.

As the coyote jumped into the car through the open window, Mia was stunned in disbelief at what just happened. The driver was freaking out and started to swerve. Finally managing to slow down, the driver jumped out of the car. Nearby, the school bus Mia was waiting for came to a screeching stop. The bus driver got out and started yelling at the driver. Mia smiled to see the driver get yelled at like how the driver yelled at her. However, the car in front was slowly rolling because the driver didn't even put it in park.

Unnoticed by the two arguing adults, Mia carefully approached the car. She looked through the window at the hungry coyote who was eating. The coyote was now sitting on the drivers seat looking trapped. Still a bit scared, Mia decided to help the coyote out. Opening the passenger door in the back, Mia dashed back towards the bus to see what would happen.

He saw the car starting to drive away, when the back door was opened some how. The coyote bolted out the door and headed two the side of the road near the bus. He licked his muzzle the clear the food off nose and sat down watching the bus driver and driver argue. In curiosity he watched them argue back and forth and kept looking to each of them when they would throw up a gesture or a swear word. Walking by them he growled as a warning for them to go away from his territory when they didn't see him nearing them. He gave a loud bark and they ran off back to their car and the bus. Walking around the bus, he kept smelling it and keeping the people trapped inside the bus.

Once Mia reached the bus, she quickly got on and went to a seat near the front. Pushing up to the window, she looked anxiously outside. The bus driver and angry driver were still arguing, until the coyote growled and lashed out with a strong bark. The bus driver flinched a bit and quickly returned to the bus. Honking the horn, the bus driver veered across the road and passed the coasting empty car. Mia heard the bus driver radio for the police as well.

The driver swore loudly and then thought about kicking the coyote, but then thought twice about it and chased after his own car. It was getting close to a parked car on the residential street and if he didn't make it...

As he scrambled there were sirens in the distance.
