Hello and thank you for reading my recruitment post! I‘ve recently gotten into more realistic leaning plots, and one I’d really like to play out with someone is the forbidden love of two male OCs in the 80s - 90s era (inspired). This isn’t for the faint of heart. The rp will touch on religion, homosexuality, and discrimination, therefore I’d like an rp partner who is mature enough to set biases aside and look at this from a story telling aspect. The roleplay itself isn’t meant to be political or disrespectful—just as the main conflict which falls on the “forbidden” aspect within the romance.

A boy full of warmth and genuine humanity. He enjoys nature, God, and appreciating everything life has to offer. He gardens, cooks, and lives a neat and orderly lifestyle. His aesthetic is a cozy, cottage homestead, following the palette of warm, soft, and earthy tones: golden yellow & warm beige, soft greens & sage, muted teal & pastel blues, warm reds & corals, and creamy whites & pale yellows.
Conflicts: He is a dreamer, a romantic at heart, yet the reality of his situation places him in constant tension with what he has been taught to believe versus what he feels in his soul. That dichotomy makes him incredibly nuanced—his desire for love is pure and earnest, yet there’s an underlying sadness that comes with the knowledge that his ideal life doesn’t align with what his faith dictates.

About me
- I don’t use Discord or any other platforms, therefore I expect roleplay to be done strictly here in direct messages.
- I prefer 1x1 and avoid roleplay within groups or threads.
- For romance, I don’t double, however I have no issue with roleplaying as more than one character.
- My writing format is descriptive, past tense and third person.
- I can write 2-4 paragraphs depending on my partner’s writing length and what the plot needs.
- I prefer to roleplay with partners 18+ in age (sorry guys!)
- My one rule is please don’t control my character narrative wise, unless it is in ways that the character cannot control such as: being kissed, dragged around, punched, knocked out, etc.
