Hello! My name is Lyra, and I was watching a show (Drop Dead Diva) that made me really crave a dramatic angsty single parent 'adoption' plot. If you're interested please let me know!
I want to play the female role, between Character A and B I would prefer A but B is interesting too so I'm down for either. I'm super open to any plot changes, I just really want the child asking a stranger to adopt them thing to go down.
I am a huge quality over quantity person but I would like at least some post length to be able to work with, and I love talking ooc!
ALSO, I'm down to do almost any plot, if you have any other ideas let me know!
Here's the plot I had so far:
Character A has a child and is struggling to make ends meet, as their child grows older they begin to notice how much their parent is struggling. Character A is a prideful parent that sacrifices everything for their child, but refuses to ask for help. They may go to bed hungry some nights but their child's belly is always full.
Character B is a wealthy person (celebrity/famous/hard worker) and they look the part, with no kids and free time/income they try and volunteer their time when they can. Character B is a good samaritan and loves helping the community. One day while out in public (grocery store/walking/something) Character A's child approaches CB and tearfully asks if they will adopt them.
