Your application has been accepted for one of the hottest new reality shows, The Island. A number of contestants will battle it out week after week to be crowd the Champion of the Island, and to win one million dollars. Facing trials, jungle horrors and each other, they must battle their way to the top. Do you have what it takes to win?
Contestants will spend the next few weeks living on the island in a 'tree house resort'. Split into two teams - red team and blue team - they will compete in daily challenges to find a winner. The winning team receives immunity from the vote off and meals for each contestant in their team, the losing team however will not. The bottom three of the losing team [determined by their success in the trial, see below] will then be up for elimination. Contestants from both teams will vote to decide who stays and who goes.
For the first three days there will be no eliminations.

Teams & Trials/Challenges
- Teams will be decide through a random name picker. The teams all share the 'tree house resort' and are split between four tree homes, two for red and two for blue - a room for each gender.
- Trials/Challenges will work through a random number picker/generator. I will randomise a number between 1 and 10 for each users character/s, the higher the number the better the contestant did in that trial. I will then add up what each character gets to find the team total, the team with the highest score wins.
- When we reach a trial/challenge, users will make a post of their character preparing for the challenge. We will pause, find the results and a second post will be made by the user explaining whether their character did well or poorly, and why. As well as their reaction to whichever team won.
- Winning teams will win food for their entire team, losing teams will be on rations of rice and beans.
Vote Offs
- The three members that scored the lowest in the trial/challenge will be up for elimination, these three contestants cannot vote in the vote off.
- The contestants from the losing team that are not in the bottom will be allowed to vote, if we find ourselves at a tie, the deciding vote will be given to the winning team.
- Each user must private message me [blueeyess] with the vote their character/s have made, however reasoning must be include. Why did Character A vote for Character B? This will help to make sure that users aren't simply voting for a user that they don't particularly like, if I find out a user is doing so their contestants will be eliminated for rule breaking.
- The contestant in the bottom with the highest votes will be eliminated. A character that has been eliminated will then no longer be in the RP - until the finale/reunion. However if enough users agree to it, a character can return to the competition later down the line.
- When we reach a lower number of contestants the teams will be disbanded, making for an all against all battle. From there on the number generated for each individual will be how well they did in the trial, the character with the highest wins and the characters with the lowest will be in the bottom two. The voting will be the same as before.
The Camp
- The camp or 'tree house resort' is made up for four tree homes - this is where the contestants sleep or hang out. There is also a camp fire pit with log seats, an outhouse bathroom with toilets and showers and a jungle jacuzzi. There is also a decking area for the winning teams to eat the meals they win.
- There is also a camp confessional, situated in a tree house separate from the camp closest to the toilet area. Characters can go here to talk about their feelings, to have private talks with other characters or to discuss how the day is going/their opinions on an event that happens in camp or a trial/challenge. They would talk to a camera if they are alone.
- Cameras are situated all around the camp and jungle area. Remember this is a TV show!
RP Rules
- Follow RPNation's rules.
- No Godmodding or cheating.
- Fade to black when romantic interactions become.. frisky.
- No pregnant characters.
- You cannot have any more than three characters.
