Personality

An incredibly stoic, solemn person, Helen listens intensely and speaks rarely. When she does have something to say, it’s often blunt and to the point though rarely rude or cruel. Talking to her, you get the sense that she’s committing your every word to memory, and she does have a prodigious memory. Helen never forgets a face or name, a trait that people either find endearing or unsettling. Though slow to anger, her grudges last decades and her spite is eternal. To those she likes, she shows a softer side, and her rare smiles are a delight to behold. When necessary, Helen can be persuasive, even amiably so. She rarely finds it necessary anymore, though, and the show always leaves her exhausted.

Background

Originally from Hungary, Ilona Varga emigrated in 1939 as the government grew increasingly totalitarian and extremist. In England, Ilona changed her name to Helen and quickly mastered the English language. During the war, she found work as a salesperson in an uptown department store, where she met her husband, Robert Masters. A patron to the store, Robert was a minor figure in high society and their marriage proved a trifling scandal within his family. Within a year of their wedding, Rob was drafted into the military and Helen never saw him again. Retiring with his fortune and his name, Helen Masters became a mysterious presence at certain soirees. Rumors swirled in her wake--that she was Jewish, Hungarian nobility, a prostitute--but nothing ever stuck.


Helen first met Black at a soiree ages ago, and has run into him now and again since.

Despite her overall curiosity, Monica can be extremely blunt when she wants to. However, she’ll never particularly state it out loud, less she wants to draw attention to herself. That and her father had always told her it was bad mannerisms to tell someone something that they didn’t want to hear.


Background:


Raised in a luxurious country estate in Maryland, Monica was taught many mannerisms and was spoiled as being the only child of her parents. She was raised under both counterparts, and had often gone hunting with both of her parents in the woods.


In school, Monica was one of the most popular girls in the schools and had soon enough created her own group. However, as she amassed more and more friends, the more and more complicated it became to be popular.


Her father’s business was growing as a result, being part of a major firearms producer and a partner in the company.


Meanwhile, Monica herself had become a great shot and her father had promised to take her on an African Safari for her college present. Still, that day never came when her father was found dead in his car, a revolver planted in his temple.


As it turned out, the Cromwell fortune was fading and Monica’s accounts weren’t as stable as she originally figured. As such, she’s come into contact with the mysterious Mister Black, a millionaire and friend of her father who has offered to lend some help.


Since then, Monica has been able to maintain a comfortable life in a Manhattan penthouse and considers Mr. Black to be a close friend and second-father to her after her original father passed away so many years ago.


Recently, World War 2 had once again brought the Cromwell's partnership back into value and Monica feels that if it hadn't been for Mr. Black, there wouldn't even be a partnership to bounce back from.


Notable Skills:


Other than spotting character flaws far more easily than others, Monica is also pretty excellent marksman and may with close examination, be able to point out more information on firearms that are used in any crimes. Of course, she won’t know the trajectory, but she can make pretty good guesses of how good a person is and if the person was shot by an expert as well as what type of bullet was used.

She is a lady of order, security and self-assurance. She’s not friendly to indecision and chaos at all. She works hard at bringing security – social and economical, in her and her loved ones’ lives. She finds it very hard to risk it for something in the air, no matter how great and majestic it might be. She’s a really patient person that will never throw in the towel and keep fighting for what she values and what she believes in. She can settle for very few accomplishments, or long lean periods, but she needs to know that certain changes are inevitable, and certain things will come to you only when they have to, no matter how hard and long you try.


This is why onlookers would feel that Jane is too slow or too dull – the truth is she is in a world of her own, where everything has its own pace, and nothing needs to be hurried. Emotional security is just as important as economic. She makes really stable relationships, and hold on to them with all her moral strength. But as we have said, she’s afraid of change, and afraid of letting things go. Thus she might get really possessive at times, to the inconvenience of the companion. She can’t help it –she doesn’t like rude shocks, and always likes to know the result of something before leaping into it. So in short, she’s a beautiful, sensual mademoiselle who has great taste for the grander and more subtle things in life.


Background:


Jane’s been born from a mother who was a daughter of an upper-class family, and a commoner father who is known to be a clergy man. To be more accurate; father as an orphan who had been brought up in a church.For obvious reasons, her mother’s family was against her marriage and rejected them, therefore the young Jane was raised away from motherland, in various countries, till catastrophe hit them and she lost her beloved father soon. After that her mother returned to England to live with her rich family and Jane was sent to a boarding school to turn to a real lady out of the jump monkey that she was. It SEEMs that she has walked a straight path to become a fine lady and now is guiding daughters of Britannia to the same path but none has ever looked her heart up closely to know what waits behind that pretty and clean façade.


By the way, the reason that this plain lady has appeared in Mr. Black’s party is that her aunt is an old acquaintance of this black guy. Actually the one who was invited was her dear aunty (her mother’s sister) who is the widow of a so called lord with many contacts in every rat hole. But unfortunately, the meal the old woman had for dinner the night before coming wasn’t fresh enough for her health and so she had no way but to send Jane to take part in her stead.

  Donald was born to Judith Duffey in Ontario. Before he was even born, Donald's father revealed to his mother about his fear of commitment and left her days before the due date. Judith was an artificial lady, acting, moving, and looking like that of a plastic barbie doll. To her, everything was about how she presented her and her only son to the other ladies in the neighborhood. Growing up, Donald lived under the constant watch, safety, and protection that was his front yard. With the exception of school, he was rarely allowed to leave his front yard. This gave Donald the burning love for the world around him the fueled him into becoming the writer and photographer for the Goleta Heights City paper.

Cecilja is a very kind but cunning person, though many may be unaware of her slick nature, they may sometimes get the feeling something is off about her. For the most part Cecilja is very well-liked, a people's person who seems to have no quarrels and gets along with everyone. She enjoys company of others, be it friends or strangers, and never seems to get uncomfortable. She's a very charming and go-with-the-flow type of spirit, simply wanting to enjoy her life and have fun, by whatever means that may be for her. No one has ever seen her get angry at anyone or any matter for any reason, though some may think she can be a bit childish in her endeavors to have fun, still enjoying things like theme-parks and the likes.

Background

Despite Cecilja's rather positive, happy-go-lucky outlook on life now, she had a terrible child where she was born just outside of Warsaw, Poland. She was around the age of ten when the Holocaust had started and Germans under Hitler's rule invaded the borders of Poland. Although she nor anyone in her family was Jewish, like many who weren't, they fell victim to the invasion and chaos that ensued. She lived with her parents and older brother who was fifteen at the time, and upon the first year, her parents knew they had to get themselves and their family out of Poland. Thus began their move to several countries, moving between Italy and Britain. However they had their close calls a few times, and unfortunately Cecilja's brother fell victim to capture when he had gone out to steal them some food, since they were poor then, having left everything behind in their homeland to try and get to a safer country. Since then, they never heard or saw from her brother again, and though none of them wanted to accept or admit it, they knew he had been taken to one of the concentration camps, and likely killed. However even now, with the Holocaust having been put to an end, Cecilja continues to search for her brother, hoping that maybe he had been saved by the American troops or elsewhere. Since that time, she and her parents had stayed and lived in Britain, where Cecilja currently resides.

For the past five years now Cecilja has lived in Britain, and has come into an incredible amount of wealth, which many people are either suspicious or simply confused about as to how. Though many people are not aware of her past, they wonder how she came into so much money in such a short amount of time living in Britain. Though she is supposedly just a very good investor, claimed to as that is how she has come into her newfound wealth.

Cecilja is fluent in several language, being Polish, German, Italian, and of course, English. She is also very good at getting what she wants - though not in a spoiled way, more in the sense that she is very persuasive and cunning - even if it involves a few white lies here and there. She's good at hiding her true intentions and emotions - particularly from her childhood growing up, and how she and her family often needed to pretend to be people they weren't.

However, he is quite an intelligent young man, and has a sense of humor, which makes him a wonderful companion if you're looking to have a good time.​

Background:

Cecil is, quite unexpectedly, a vicar's son.

The late Reverend Dalziel hoped for his only child to follow in his footsteps, and so felt more and more disappointed by Cecil as he grew up.

At the age of twenty Cecil left his father's parish for London, where he got his degree in accounting, and where he has lived ever since.​

Marcus says to meet tomorrow, he will meet you tomorrow and if you are not there he will feel betrayed. There's never a stutter in his mind when it comes to planning. Marcus speaks in short incomplete sentences, saying just what he needs. Due to this his accent, however, can be quite a hassle to understand if he doesn't elaborate. The accent isn't easy to understand to those who are not used to the Russian tongue. Marcus can become quite annoyed when someone doesn't understand him, frustrated in the fact that he has to repeat himself when he hates talking. He thinks in simple terms, everything is more on a black and white spectrum. Either it is or it isn't. Someone kills another man and they are guilty, simple as it may be. He doesn't believe that there needs to be so much complexity in life. Marcus can be described as mean due to his outlook, serious and very much to the point. He doesn't beat around the bush and makes sure his point is well understood before moving on. Marcus can't stand people who try to fiddle with words, he sees them as rude and always wanting an upper hand when it is not well deserved. This enrages him, his temper is strong and once angry he lets loose everything and can even resort to violence.

She thinks she got that side of her from being with her step-father alot. So she is sweet whenever things dont have to do with

business, but once there is cash in it she becomes a totally different person.




Background:


Annette was born, and raised in Germany. Her, and her Mother were spared during the Holocaust, sadly her father wasnt. Her father refused to join the Nazi's, and instead held a protest against it. It didnt work, no-one agreed with him, and he was immediately killed. They then fled, traveling were ever the Nazi werent. She has been around the world. When ever the Holocaust was over, her mother moved them to Freiburg im Breisgau. They spent many years in poverty, but luckily her mother was then remarried, to a wealthy business man. Her step father, was a jealous man. Angry of people who had more power, or income. So he then took over them, he made his way to the top. Being his daughter, she did lots of his work. She would close business deals, and do whatever she could.

Not only is she very intelligent in business, and life, but she is very cultured. She also is very perspective, and can notice little things out of ordinary. She is also very sly, and can flirt her way out of anything.

Personality: Being described as slick, secretive, and extremely charismatic, Dean Morrison enjoys his public image. He's cunning, witty and, most importantly, a very patient man. His skills have landed him several advisory positions for companies. He was also used as a television advertisement face for a variety of products, granting him a decent level of fame (or rather infamity) in his home town. He likes fine whiskey, pipes, pool billiard and classic cars. He tends to be drawn towards luxurious lifestyles and flamboyant personalities, as he grew up in poverty, and now persues wealth very ambitiously. Despite his general lax and clown-ish attitude, he can be very vengeful and mean-spirtited. It takes quite a bit of effort to get on his bad side, but once you made it, there's probably not going to be any kind of friendship ever again. Dean has a tendency to point out other people's flaws, exposing them without any real reason.

Background: Dean grew up in Portsmouth, born into rather modest circumstances. His mother was a seamstress and his father worked in the local industries. From an early age, Dean was determined to eventually escape his home and make it big. In his early teens, Dean came in contact with local criminals, learning a few tricks along the way. Eventually, however, several of his friends had been caught, scaring him off the streets. He eventually took on every little job he could find, making connections around town. One of his employers was the cousin of a local event manager. Noticing Dean's skills with customers, he recommended the young man, opening the door for Dean to find work in the world of entertainment and advertisement. From there on, the world seemed to be open. Now, after a plethora of different occupations, he is a public spokesperson for a nation-wide operating company.

With a thin form, and a height of 5'5", Lillian is rather pretty. Her hair is a soft chocolate brown, and her eyes are a sharp ice blue, holding determination and intelligence. Her skin is pale likely from the fact that she rarely goes outside. Unlike most females, Frost dislikes wearing dresses, and usually ends up wearing some form of masculine clothes, and to special occasions, a suit and a skirt.





Personality:


Rather quiet and shy, to those who know her Lillian is the opposite. In fact, she is rather eccentric, seeing as she is the apprentice of a clockmaker, which is also frowned upon. Named 'Frost' for her rather icy nature toward those she doesn't trust, she has attached herself to that nickname, and will always introduce herself as 'Frost Storm' never Lillian. Being the youngest of her family (which includes 3 brothers and a older sister) she has learnt to keep to herself, and not to show her opinions, especially since her father, a rather well known man, once yelled at her when she questioned his opinion on female rights. Since then she has worked hard to prove she can work as hard as any male can, and doesn't care for anyones opinion of her.





Background:


Brought up by her father, a High class business man, with her three older brothers (5,7 and 10 years her senior) and her older sister (2 years her senior), Frost was treated as the baby of the family. To the outside world, she was treated like a princess, for her father liked to show her off as it gave him good business, when the people found out he was a caring father. But, behind locked doors, he couldn't care less. He hired tutors for Lillian, simply because he would not dare let her go to a boarding school, where she could tell someone the truth.


It was at a dinner one evening, with over 15 guests, high up people in her fathers business, that she first questioned her life. It had been when her father had brought up female rights, laughing and joking, saying women weren't meant to be in a males role, and that they should stay home and care for their children and do the housework, among other feminine, lower class things. Being the curious teen she had been, she had questioned this, and was told off for questioning her father in front of other people.


After that, at every chance Frost got, she grabbed books and researched things that only men could do. She took up fixing things and inventing others, though the latter was not her strongest suit, and was soon fixing peoples things behind her fathers back, not charging them. When a clockmaker had found out, he had immediately asked to work with her, clearly not sharing the belief that women were inferior to men, and needing a partner who was adequate at fixing broken watches.


It was through this that she met Mr. Black, fixing something important to him.
