Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

[Ryu Keiko]

Ryu ignored the man that threw out racial slurs at him, and smiled taking a spoon, and taking a small sip of the soup. "Hmmmm...It could be better, but that's the best I can do~" he smiled. He didn't have much ingredients, so he had to try his best, and this was his best. He smiled as he covered the pot with its lid and cleaned his hands of all the seasoning. He walked outside and took in a deep breath before shouting aloud. "HEY I GOT DINNER READY IF ANYONE IS HUNGRY!!" he shouts

Adam merely lay in Jinx's lap, snuggled against her belly as she chuckled nervously, "Mm, please stop laughing, your moving belly is making it hard to sleep..." Yeah, he was outta it. Big time. 

Ruckus yelled out, "It smells like shit, nìgga!"

She grew a sheepish smile again, as she made Fish-Bones speak once more.


"See? He's just sleeping...nothing to see here folks!"

He groaned, hugging Jinx as he totally fell asleep on her lap. A bit of drool slipped down his lip, "Mmmm..."

*I eyed the three other men, watching their every move. I could tell the girl was a bit nervous, I wouldn't blame her, she is practically surrounded by four men. I decided to exit the room, I didn't want to stick around any longer. I slowly moved towards the door, my spurs jingled as I walked out.*

Octavian was busy, tending to his Bolter, re-inserting the clip, and reloading the weapon. Although he was attached to his weapon, he didn't feel he would coo to it sexually like she did. Although, maybe it did deserve a name. But truely, he sucked at names, so he sat there, thinking. He sort of noticed the guy leave.

I could definitely smell something was cooking, so I walked over to the man and asked, "What's for dinner?" I said, after removing my cigar from my mouth.*

He looked at the male and smiled. "There wasn't any food in the cafeteria so I had what I smuggled from a house before I joined up with this group." He started and smiled walking into the kitchen to make him a bowl. "It's vegetable soup. It's got potatoes too~" he smiled and handed the guy a bowl and a spoon. Thank god for plastic spoons! He smiled,. "It's not the best soup I've made, but it's better than nothing~"

"Mmmm..."


Wait, did she make that sound? She shook her head slapped herself, before looking back up at the Joker again.


"See? Sleeping..."


She nodded quickly.


"Everything's fine."


No, everything was not fine.

"Well that's mighty kind of you to make this for us. Thank you." *I said. This guy seemed pretty harmless, he's making food for us, and he has a good attitude. But then again, even the most harmless people can be the most deadly, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try this soup. I picked up the spoon, and took a sip of the liquid. It wasn't the best thing in the world, but it wasn't bad either.*

He smiled and nodded. "My name is Ryu by the way~" He said bowing slightly, something he picked up from his grandparents growing up. "I hope the soup is good enough." He said rubbing the back of his head. He looked down and waves his hand down, causing the flames he used to cook the soup to die down slightly, just enough to keep it warming.

Just grew up on a ranch for a bit, then, I went to Mexico at the age of twenty four." I replied. Most of the story I just told isn't even true, I haven't told anyone my true story about where I'm from.*

He chuckles. "So you're from neighboring Texas huh?" he smiled. "That's pretty cool." Ryu stated and laughed. He had never had an extensive conversation with someone before, but this guy seemed alright.

*I nodded, and took yet another sip of the soup I had been given. I then took a few more sips before I decided to head off and look for a place to rest. "Thank you for the dinner."I said, with a tip of my hat. I walked out of the kitchen, heading towards the armory. I had no plans on going inside, but I might just want to check and be sure things are alright in there.*

He giggled a bit, out of wholesome fun combined with nervousness. Strange mixture, really. Jinx was downright adorable, but her mental condition - frightening by it's own accord, "Oh, uhm..." Man, he was -really- shy about the whole ordeal, a hot madwoman? Unheard of! At least she wasn't flinging poo at him, "... I'm Adam. Hello Fish-Bones..."

Jinx laughed and set Fish-Bones back down.


"As for Pow-Pow, she doesn't talk too much. Only when she's angry."


She then looked around shiftily, before whispering in Adam's ear.


"But trust me, you don't wanna see her angry!"
