"I have heard of a nearby science facility, it goes by, "Aperture science" I believe, I can take you there once my work here is done." replied Annie, her chatting only continued after a monument of silence.


"My brother is near, Andy doesn't stray far from me, he hopes to one day kill me." answered Annie, she looked to the Doctor, and let a small smile onto her lips.


"Now please, Let me get back to work."

"By all means, work. If you need me, I'll be around." The Doctor nodded and turned to leave, shooting her a look over his shoulder. "If it makes you feel any better, I know all too well how you feel. You're not alone, Annie Willow," the kind, old time lord told her before exiting the room. He began to head down the halls, his curiosity calling him to explore the place.

Minako had luckily found her way back up to the rooftop after the explosion occurred. She sighed, relived that everyone else in her group appeared to be okay as well.


Stella was too busy at one of the roof's corners again recharging her light energy. She was afraid another attack like that from the shadows might happen again soon so she wanted to be prepared.

Ryu overheard somethings that were being said, like something about 'black penises'??? That confused him a bit. He sighed as he brushed his hair back. "I'm guessing a lot of people aren't going to like the fact that I'm black." he chuckles. "I guess things haven't changed since I left the South..." he stated as he kept walking towards the cafeteria.

Adain saw company on the roof and slid his shirt on and got up to strech, carrying his rifle with him. He walked over to the two, "Its a nice day isn't it?" He asked.

Blake clapped her hands together after hearing about Lia's powers. "Ah, an earth user! Wonderful!" she said happily. She wasn't normally this joyous to meet another elemental, but in her situation, another capable fighter in their midst was something worth nothing, she thought,
"The range of things you can do with earth powers is probably the best out of all elementals," Blake commented. "I take it you don't know how to control your powers yet, but don't worry, it'll arrive to you naturally."

Lia sighed, folding her arms. "I've missed a lot of things. I hadn't the slightest idea that anyone could use elements. I spent a lot of time hiding underground after the apocalypse hit," she admitted. "It seems to be a handy power though. I'd really like to learn how to harness faster if possible. I feel like I'm always running out of ammo for my gun, and I'd love an alternative method of protecting myself." She narrowed her eyes, hearing Renegade barking ahead. What had he seen?

"I see it." spoke a monotone voice, it's rocky feet slammed into the earth below it, following beside its maker. Tyler walked calmly among the trash covered streets, The shadow's were hiding indoors and he was free to be as annoying as he wanted. He smiled, and pointed to the gate of the camp,


"What's that sphinx?" asked Tyler.


"I do not know, I give riddles, not answers." replied the sphinx made of earth. The two made there way to the gates, which happen to be firmly locked, Tyler siged, and called out to the building from behind the steel.


"Hey! Is anyone in there! Me and my sphinx have a offer for you!" shouted Tyler, his masculine voice cutting the air like a dagger.

He nodded, "Thank you for your assistance," he said, getting up, smiling slightly. He ignored her cooing to her gun, he had seen it before, anyways. He had no look, and turned back, heading over to her. He noticed that her rocket-launcher never seemed to fill up, curious. "That is a nice weapon you have there," he said, sitting down on the bench opposite her, holding his own Bolter, lying it casually on his legs.

She opened an eye from cuddling Fish-Bones, then springing up with a sheepish laugh.


"Oh, yeah! Er...you're talkin' about Fish-Bones right?"

Yeah science has proven thato some people are born with magical abilities. Turning grass into bread is a stupid use of magic. You have to be able to do more than that!

Tyler looked up to the school's roof, it was a man, a very attractive man! Tyler flashed a charming smile, and made a sunblock above his eyes with four of his fingers as he looked to the roof.


"I am Tyler, my sphinx is magic, he grants a minor wish to people who can solve his riddles." called out Tyler.

She opened an eye from cuddling Fish-Bones, then springing up with a sheepish laugh.
"Oh, yeah! Er...you're talkin' about Fish-Bones right?"

"Aye. I am talking about Fish Bones," he said, casually. He completely ignored the weird title for her gun, as one of his Battle Brothers referred to his gun as Charuvius Douchius. That was strange. He was pretty sure the ultra-human modifications screwed up something in the brain somehow. "How can Fish Bones fit so many rockets?" he asked, confused.

Ryu pushed open the doors to the cafeteria, coughing at the dust that came up with it. "Damn this place needs to be cleaned." He mumbled as he walked inside, heading into the kitchen He looked around, hoping to find some food, but to his and everyone else's luck, he couldn't find so much as a scrap. He sighed. "Damn...I thought maybe things would start looking up...Wait!" he said as he took his backpack off his shoulders and placed it on the ground. He unzipped the bag and began to dig around inside. "Yes! I did take something worth while!" he laughs as he pulls out a small bag of potatoes, onions, carrots and other veggies. "Now all I need are some spices and I can make a large soup or broth for the group!" he exclaimed clapping his hands. It was much, but it would give flavor to some water and make a decent broth for sure. He set about the kitchen finding a few pots and pans, and was lucky enough to find some spices. He made note to keep a lookout for anything he could find for cooking. He even managed to find some utensils for cooking, though he would have to look for spoons and forks later for everyone. "Man I wish I had some form of meat though..." he sighed. He took the large pot and walked back outside, looking for an area he could fill it up with water.

Looking for a fast way down and to get a better look and the man behind the voice, because what was Adain kidding Tyler's voice made him melt, he slung his rifle over his shoulder and slid down a pole on the side of the building a floor before jumping off halfway down the second floor and landing on the ground feet first. He dusted off and went to open the gate, "Well Tyler and sphinx I will bring you to our leader." He said looking over Tyler forcing himself not to blush.
