Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

Ryu walks around and yawns as he looks around He had no need for the armory, considering he had no weapons as such. Maybe if he could get his hands on a sword then that would be fun. He smiled at the thought as he began to walk towards the cafeteria. "Maybe I can cook some grub up for this group, it's the least I can do, right?" he chuckled to himself as he stuffed his hands into his pockets.

The Doctor entered the room, a wide grin on his face. "Good to see you're still in one piece. Yet, I have a feeling you aren't as well as you seem to be. Anything that ails you?" he asked, deciding to be considerate before asking for what he wanted.

"I am....fine. What is it that you want doctor? and do not pretend you came here just for a chat." replied Annie, her tone still friendly, but colder.

The Joker turned around, the scar on his face still spread out into a smile. "Oh, but a pretty girl like you? I'm sure you got alllll the action, back in the day. You know, before you became a filthy whore, sneaking her way through the apocalypse, one who would likely take some action from one of those black dicks outside." The Joker tilted his head, and laughed. "Oh, but that is besides the point, my friendly blonde. What do you need help with? I'll be a wingman, if you want that! I've always wanted to be a wingman!"

Regina recoiled at the words "filthy whore."


"God, you're, like, cliche. Just because I get more action than Gretchen, don't mean I'm a filthy whore." She paused for a second, taking in the creep's words. "And yeah, what's wrong with black dícks? They tend to be plus sized, and as long as the dude behind the dìck knows how to properly use it, it's as good as any other."


Regina looked around, glancing at the rest of the people in the sleeping area. All freaks. All nut cases.


"Like, thanks and all, but I don't think I'll need your wingman services. That smile would totes freak out any guy you tried to help me with."

That's when Dany realized how little she knew of their task.
"... However... Seeing as I don't... exactly know where to lead you to...

Lia rolled her eyes when Dany surrendered leadership. "Oh brother, just make up your minds already. Whatever you decide, I'm going to take your idea from before and send Renegade ahead to scout the area." She clicked her tongue and gave her dog the command to run ahead and to see if he could find anything. She then began to walk with the others, frowning to herself.


"Say, have any of you experienced anything strange lately? Like... other than the shadows and creatures we've been fighthing?" she asked, biting her lip as she recalled how she had caused the earth to move the other day and wasn't sure how she had done it.

Doc Brown looked at the woman. So there were even more with the same powers? It was obvious this woman was being afflicted with some sort of something, so he responded, hoping to get more answers. "You mean something like this?" He snapped his fingers, then watched in marvel as a brick shot from a blue light, straight into a tree. "Fascinating, isn't it?"

And while I did come here mostly for the reason to ask you where I might fine some science components that might be useful in mechanical repairs, I see a look in your eye that suggests distress. Missing loved one, perhaps?" She wondered if Annie had heard any word about her brother, and if he was still missing. He new the feeling of missing loved ones all too well, and knew the look in her eye because he had seen it in himself for as long as he could remember.

Blake tapped her chin, thinking about Lia's question as she walked along the leafy path. "I can't say I have," Blake admitted, shrugging her shoulders. "I mean, there are the Hormagaunts that Isaac and I encountered last night, but they shouldn't be a worry to us now." Blake turned her head and stared at Lia with a questioning look. "Why do you ask? Is something bothering you?"

"They're a unique type of bullet, they only work with my gun, the Bolter." he said, pulling the clip out of the bolter, and pulling out a bullet. It was a .75 caliber bullet, but strangely short. "Do you happen to know where I could find any? Or atleast a .75 caliber bullet?" he asked hopefully.

She squinted at the bullet, and shrugged.


"I dunno, but, this place seems to have alotta weird bullets around. Try taking a look."


She said, as she took chain after chain of her bullets, feeding them into Pow-Pow, cooing to it. Almost sexually. Then she went on to do the same with Fish-Bones, filling it up with whatever rockets she found around the place. And no matter how many she shoved down Fish-Bones' jaws, it never seemed to fill up. Weird.

 

[Verite]

JoJo roamed around the place aimlessly, making his way around the school. He may as well try to get familiar with this place, even though he doubted he'd stay here for long. Though he didn't look or act it, JoJo was a fairly well-read young man, his favorite novel being Sun Tzu's The Art of War. He wondered if the place would have anything intellectually stimulating for intellectual beings like him. Yes, that would certainly be right!


...Or he could indulge in some comics.

The Joker smiled, pulling on his purple coat. "Oh well, too bad." He pulled out a Joker card from a deck, and extended it out to the idiotic woman. "Here's my card, if you ever need my services." Apparently cliche was the word for him, not insane, or anything, but of all things, cliche. Oh well. The Joker shrugged it off. It wasn't really THAT worth it.

Lia flinched seeing Doc Brown summon a power similar to her own with a snap of his fingers. "That's what I'm talking about!" She replied to him with a nod before turning her head to nod at Blake. "Yeah, something was bothering me, and it's something like the doc here just demonstrated. The other day, the earth rose up around me and protected me when I was out of ammo, then it fell back and smashed a shadow. It freaked me out a little. I didn't know I had the power to do something like that," she admitted with a shrug.

"I have heard of a nearby science facility, it goes by, "Aperture science" I believe, I can take you there once my work here is done." replied Annie, her chatting only continued after a monument of silence.


"My brother is near, Andy doesn't stray far from me, he hopes to one day kill me." answered Annie, she looked to the Doctor, and let a small smile onto her lips.


"Now please, Let me get back to work."

"I dunno, but, this place seems to have alotta weird bullets around. Try taking a look around."


She said, as she took chain after chain of her bullets, feeding them into Pow-Pow, cooing to it. Almost sexually. Then she went on to do the same with Fish-Bones, filling it up with whatever rockets she found around the place. And no matter how many she shoved down Fish-Bones' jaws, it never seemed to fill up. Weird.

He nodded, "Thank you for your assistance," he said, getting up, smiling slightly. He ignored her cooing to her gun, he had seen it before, anyways. He had no look, and turned back, heading over to her. He noticed that her rocket-launcher never seemed to fill up, curious. "That is a nice weapon you have there," he said, sitting down on the bench opposite her, holding his own Bolter, lying it casually on his legs.

Blake clapped her hands together after hearing about Lia's powers. "Ah, an earth user! Wonderful!" she said happily. She wasn't normally this joyous to meet another elemental, but in her situation, another capable fighter in their midst was something worth nothing, she thought,
"The range of things you can do with earth powers is probably the best out of all elementals," Blake commented. "I take it you don't know how to control your powers yet, but don't worry, it'll arrive to you naturally."
