Jinx began laughing wickedly, firing Pow-Pow at point-blank range. Bullets flew from it's three barrels consecutively, sending his blood and brain mater splattering across the tree and Jinx's pale, half-naked body. There was no stopping her by this point.

"Hormagaunts..." she repeated, gazing out into the dark forest surrounding their position. "As Isaac carried me, I saw the Shadows running away from the Hormoagaunts. Your world has horrible abominations... Octavian is your name, correct me if I'm wrong, but..." she looked at the war machine and appreciatively smiled. "Your world has very, VERY capable fighters. I admire your bravery. My military unit didn't have any of that when the Shadows came along..."

Octavian nodded. "There's much worse than them, and because of me, much worse here. Considering that their attack was coordinated, and they moved in a group, there is probably something alot scarier than a Hormagaunt running around," he sighed, shuttreing. "Very capable fighters indeed, but it isn't really bravery alot of the time. In truth, it is merely an attempt to stay alive, instead of bravery, that gets me through it all," he said, shrugging. "And what is your name? If I may ask?" he asked, looking over, curiously.

Ryu fell back against the tree blood pouring from his head. He laid there dead for a moment before he smirked and laughed. "Nice shot!" he laughed as he slowly staggered back to his feet. "But if these damned Shadows can't kill me, then I sure as hell won't let a pyshco like you do me in!" he shouted. The bullet wounds in his head began to heal slightly, as flames danced in his head. Though that would have ended badly if she would have kept going... Guess I was a bit over the top." He thought to himself. He killed the flames throughout the forest as he looked at the woman. "You have guts, I'll give you that." He mumbled.

Adain digs through his gear for a scrap of foil, but instead finds a coke can, a and tosses it at Ed, "This will work and I don't think we ever were properly introduced. The name is Adain." He slid his beanie off surprised to find it still on. His ears flicked and he gave a laugh.

He looked to the boy who lifted him up, 'I can just play with him.' thought Andy, his hands then raising to metal spikes to come shooting up from ground level, trying to hit the boy's arms.

Nothing like anything in this world. We just have limited magic and projectile weaponry. No chainsaw swords, or power armor..."
She hugged her knees and looked up at the starry night sky. Despite the Shadows killing off the human population, less light pollution resulted in clear night skies with visible stars, and Blake couldn't help but admire their beauty. "Everyone wants to survive, and even if you brought those creatures, we would be worse off without you, Octavian. Besides you and Isaac, all I see are weaklings, physically... or mentally."

"What do you mean Ellis is a wimp? You just told me your name was Ellis!" Lia was very confused, glancing to Renegade as he whined and backed away. Her dog immediately didn't like Andy.

"I don't think so, I don't feel any major pain." I said, while looking at both my arms and legs. The only pain I felt was from my back, but that's just because I fell. Nothing too serious. When he asked for my name, I didn't exactly know what to tell him, I never really told people my name. Mainly because I didn't want to become too attached to people and become a partner or friend. I always preferred to keep my name a secret. but I guess I should give him one of my fake names... "My name's Manco. Just, Manco." Manco means 'One-Handed' or 'One-Armed' in Spanish. I picked up the name because I only use my pistol. I will only use a rifle if I need to.*


*I looked around at the area I was in, I could only spot a few people. At least some of us are okay... I holstered my pistol, and pulled out a cigarillo. I put it on my mouth, and pulled out a match from my pocket, and lit it by striking the match head on a piece of concrete from the building that had collapsed. I lit my cigar, and threw the match on the ground.*

"Manco? Good to know, good to know. Nice name! I like Spanish. I'm The Doctor by the way. If you ever need anything be sure to let me know. For the time being, it seems we've come across a calm. I only hope this isn't a calm before another storm." He narrowed his eyes and looked at the other people, wondering what the group would do next.
