Murder Mansion 1x1

Elliot was curled up quietly on the sofa with his notebook and study book, other people in the room chatting and laughing, some of them rocking back and forth and chanting in their strange ways. Elliot scrunches up his face as he writes down an equation and puts the book down on the floor while he answers it. It doesn't take long, he knew how to do these things like the back of his hand, but he was extremely bored. He sighs as he shuts his notebook, it was so hard to concentrate with all this noise. He stands and grabs the book from the floor too before walking into the lobby area where it usually much more quiet, the place you had to go through if you were new here.

Rosalind walked through the door. Her bag was on her back and she had her hands in the pockets of her hoodie. IT had been a long journey, and her legs were aching from being curled up in a car for the past 5 hours. She walked into what seemed to be a lobby area and yawned, putting her hand over her mouth as she did so. She took out her earphones and wrapped them up, putting them in her pocket along with her phone. She wasn't quite sure what to do. She looked around, expecting an owner or a carer to meet her there but all she saw was an empty desk and a large lobby.

He sees a girl looking around for someone to talk to in the lobby, but he doesn't go to her, he doesn't fancy talking to her. Instead, he walks over to one of the empty sofas, and sits down on it, curling his feet up under him and opening his book. He twitches his head to the side and picks up his pencil, scratching away quickly as he wrote down the numbers and answers and questions and... Math. He knew a lot about math. He closes his book and puts his head in his hands, it was pounding. He heard a lady coming over to speak to the girl, to sort her out with her room. He puts his book on his lap and pushes his hair out of his eyes, though they were squeezed shut.

"Thanks." Rosalind nodded to the lady who escorted her to her room. She went inside and but her bag on her bed. She unpacked her clothing and looked at her phone for a while. She was bored, there was no hiding it. She had nothing to do here. She wasnt allowed to bring her laptop. Everything was so different to how home was.

Elliot stands and he walks to his room, coincidentally positioned just next door to the new girls, though he only knew that because the door was still ajar and everyone else shut theirs. He walks past the room and puts his hand in his door handle, though hesitates. He could say something to the girl? No. No he wouldn't. Instead, he walks inside his room and shuts his door, walking over to his bookshelf and putting the notebook and study book neatly with the rest of them. He had been in this place for a while, so he had had his books delivered to him by his parents for entertainment.
