What even is goin on?
While waiting for her initial guest to take their seat, she was approached by another interesting looking red-head, though her hair easily was the darkest shade of the bunch. Maybe it was the result of some kind of weird biological response that lead them all to congregate in the same spot, not that she really had an issue with that. Weird trains of thought aside, there was no reason to deny her access to the napkins, sliding the box of them all towards her (( @ Nenma Takashi )) without a word, seeing as the first woman who addressed had finally taken a seat and opened up on her offer for conversation. She gave a nod of understanding at that goal, figuring that maybe she should try to do the same since some interesting looking individuals seemed to be in town for one reason or another, hoping that the occurrence it wasn't just bad luck coming to bite her in the ass. Gathering her thoughts while the waitress made a small interjection to drop off a to-go bag, she was caught off guard by the prod at her stature and the wink, letting out a chuckle before leaning forward in her seat attentively. "You.. you might be fun.. The name's Celeste... but you can call me muscles if it floats your boat, Kinny." She teased, propping her chin up on her hands after steepling them together and setting her elbows on the table.
After receiving the request for her story, she knew some simple bullshit about "seeing the sights" or "taking a break from the office" wouldn't cut it, on account of her appearance alone. Celeste couldn't give her an answer that was too honest either, because Kinara could be just be dressed up like a character from a sci-fi show to lower her guard. "Well, I do some PMC work, and the company we were hired under had to cut us to stay afloat... so I decided to take a breather before I look for another gig.." she offered, hoping that would suffice. (( Storm-Shadow14 ))
Kinara would purr if she could at the larger woman's own teasing, but instead she smiled knowingly, and rested an arm against the back rest of the booth, opening her body language, making her more receptive to advances and conversation. "Ooh, well if you insist, Muscles~" She flashed another wink, and took another bite of her sandwich. As she listened to the woman's story, and told her own. What Kinara did tell of the truth of her story was that she wound up here by some mishap of technology, and that she'd been trying to fix what was broken since she got here. While she explained, it seemed they lost track of time, and Kinara looked to her watch: 10:34AM. Blinking and doing a double take, she smiled and looked to Celeste.
"Say, Muscles... you like the beach? I know a great spot to just hang out if you're up for it... come on! Follow me!" By now, she'd long tossed away her trash from finishing her food, and reached out to gently grab one of Celeste's hand, playfully tugging at the larger woman to follow her. Smiling, she led the larger woman to The Beach, where they would start to walk down the sands, with nothing but the sounds of the gently churning water to play as a back drop to their conversation.[/COLOR]
"Y'know... back where I come from, I sort of ran a PMC of my own. Sort of... took it upon myself to fight an evil Empire and all that jazz. What kind of stuff were you up to?" LunarDiscord
