Fandom Murder IV: Eye of the Storm

“No. Just cautious.” Leon clips his holster again and decides that if worse comes to worse he would go for the silent approach and reaches his hand up to massage his shoulder, placing it in an ideal position for his combat knife.

Arriving at the junkyard, House gently gives the mannequin without a head a gentle shove with his cane "Suppose this is what passes for decoration around these parts" he thinks aloud, quirking a brow slightly as he takes a look at the cars "Some nice models here...Little love and restoration could bring these old girls back to glory" he murmurs as he runs a hand over the front of the beetle sat atop a pile of rusting trash "Such a shame, left here to face the elements"

As Elise walks out of the store she notices the weather has changed dramatically, wind has picked up and if you waited long enough you would very much be able to feel little rain drops, “Hey Max, we may need to delay our beach trip, with the weather an all.” She said in a much less excited tone compared to her usual voice. “But I mean we can always to the woods, it’s a really chill place to hang out and just talk, y’know.” Her tone lifted up again to it’s usual pitch.

"I don't know about the finer things" the doctor remarks as he hobbles his way over to the bus slowly "But falling out of your prime...I can tell you a million stories about that" he chuckles gently, masking the annoyance he still felt over losing partial control over his leg "You see it a lot among patients. Porn stars with erectile dysfunction are always such sad cases to handle" he adds, deflecting the situation once more with humour and dry wit as he gently wipes some dirt from one of the windows.

Once the pair had reached the safehouse, Chloe was perplexed as she saw the note that had been pinned to the door.

“The hell?” Chloe asked as Pandora removed the note from the door and began to read it. Once she was finished, Chloe couldn’t help but wonder just who the fuck wrote this? Max had been with her all day, so it couldn’t have been her. Was it Rachel? She did have an appreciation for cryptic shit like this, after all.

Well, either way, Chloe would have been the first to enter her safehouse, mainly so she could see if any of her shit had been fucked with, though eventually her hand was retracted from the doorframe, the punk having second thoughts on the matter.

Jason stands up and tucks the knife behind his arm and walks up to the man. "You're a bit on edge officer, how about I help you relax" and Jason goes to flip the knife and goes too stab the man.

Mey-Rin
Location: Blackwell Academy

Stepping onto campus grounds, a rather odd young woman looked around in thinly veiled awe. She certainly did make for an unusual sight amongst the bustling crowd of students—with her straight, maroon-red hair tied up in high pigtails, hazel eyes kept hidden behind a pair of large, thick, and overly round glasses along with the old-fashioned clothing she had draped herself with, she looked like she'd been pulled straight out of the past.

Mey-Rin herself was completely oblivious to this fact, and was instead focused entirely on the multitude of strange new sights and sounds that assaulted her senses.

Master Shake
Shitty Junkyard

Having been so rudely kicked out of the shithole diner, I decided to head for more familiar territory. Having been shunned by a building full of people, it became clear as crystal to me. All those days years spent in the forest must have changed me. Changed me into something that could no longer fit back into the societal norm, a beast that had forgotten everything of its past life and made nature itself its home. With renewed vigor and a newfound purpose, I would return to the forest that I had become so well acquainted with and live the rest of my life among the chipmunks and the oak trees.

On my way back to the forest, I came across a putrid junkyard. The horrid smell reminded me of Carl's house, only it looked nicer and there seemed to be an attractive lady there. Gallantly, I rushed over to her side.

"Heyyy sexy mama, how's it going? I see you've stumbled upon my humble abode. Perhaps you'd like to come in and have a drink?"

I'd like to add that when I said drink, I raised my brow suggestively. You see, I'm obviously a drinking cup, so when I ask her if she wants a drink, what I'm really asking is if she'd like to have me. Clever, I know.

Max frowned. "damn..." He thought to himself. The beach sounded quite a bit better than the forest, but Elise was right, the weather was already starting to get a bit rough, and it was only going to get worse. "Yeah, zhat is probably a better idea..." he said. "and i mean ve could still probably go another day anyways, right?" He added, looking to Elise and letting her lead the way to the forest.

Pandora jumped, startled by the unexpected voice. "Oh...hello. Uh. I don't think I've ever seen someone like you before. I'm Pandora. Who are you?"

Leon yanks his knife from his sheathe and using the downward force just barely manages to catch the blade of the knife and deflect it to the side. "Who's the sensitive one?" Leon lunged back quickly in order to create a bit of distance before coming in at a lower angle for a slash to the chest.

WELCOME TO ARCADIA BAY

I shook my head after reading the road-side sign. Seagulls cried above. sea salt invaded my nostrils. Pine trees swayed in the wind with birds hopping from branch to branch. Up ahead the road curved into the outermost buildings of a town. People moved to and fro between the buildings. The realization of expanding my search dawned upon me. I slouched. My hoped of staying hidden these past two weeks drowned further and further as I marched towards Arcadia Bay.

People stepped out of my way. Some gawked while others hurriedly walked away. A few shouted out the question why I was wearing my full Praetor Armor. I ignored them yet the same ones dared step into my path. They asked again why I was wearing armor. I yanked out a picture with a finger tapping on that bastard cyborg. They paled for whatever reason and allowed me to continue on my way. Gez, can’t a man wear full armor these days?

I eventually found myself in front of a diner. It was stereotypical in appearance. The only outstanding feature was the two whales on the roof. Two Whales Diner glowed in green. Two Whales Diner? Like father and son? I chuckled at an ancient memory before crushing it.

A thought ran into my mind. A diner was a place where people gathered for meals and to meet with friends. Someone must have saw a nine-foot man more machine than human.

I grabbed the handle and yanked. Metal shrieked as it was torn from the door. I brought it up to my face. Ok, it was push, not pull. I pushed on the door gentle as I could so it too wouldn’t break. I did not want another incident happen. That farmer probably was still nursing the head wound. Tattered memories warned that wouldn’t do me any favors if that happens again.

A bitter aroma and burnt flesh invaded my nostrils. I tensed, eyes darting around the interior until I saw the mugs and meaty strips sizzling on an oven. Good, no demons. However, many pairs of eyes stared at me with wide pupils. My own eyes flicked to each one of them to give a silent warning. I was not here to cause trouble. Yet they continued staring. Did these people not know it was impolite to stare?

“Hon, you came from a military base?”

My gaze settled on a woman. Her blonde hair was tied into a ponytail and she wore a typical waitress outfit. A name tag was sewn into the dark blue fabric of the shirt. The name Joyce was inscribed on it. Joyace only reached my collar, but she weathered my glare. The corners of my lips twitched upwards. Impressive. Most people I’ve met thus far withered underneath it. Though I think they were… were… fuck. I tried grasping the term for non-combatants and it slipped through every time.

Instead I held up the broken handle. Joyace cursed and snatched it from my hands. She waved dismissively leaving me to start asking around. A chime sounded as I began asking around. I glanced at a TV, half-listening to it. Something about coastal storm hitting the town around eight PM. Caution is advised. Take shelter. Yeah, yeah. A little storm was ranked way below Hell invasion if I didn't find that cyborg soon.

House takes a look at the note and shrugs "If I had to hazard a guess, it's like some kind of scavenger hunt. Maybe there's one item here, and one at some other points of interest in the town?" he asks, looking to Chloe and Max slightly "Perhaps a lighthouse or the school?" he offers, leaning on his cane as he lets them have their fun with this wild mystery "Though frankly, it might just be a wild goose chase and we're being played with"

Though as the cup spoke up, House looked confused and amusedly gave his side a whack with his cane "Bit early to be dressing up, isn't it? Who are you even supposed to be?"

Leon drops to the ground feeling the air from the kick glide across his back, just narrowly avoiding it once again. He rolls to the side in a single movement and comes up to slash the stranger in the back while he is off balance and he is on his flank.

Toshinori "All Might" Yagi

Location - Blackwell Academy | With - Kate Marsh | Condition - Concerned, but fine

“Goodness, I’m so sorry!” Toshinori apologized immediately upon feeling himself bump into someone. Sometimes his towering height really bit him in the ass, making it hard to notice much shorter people walking near him without constantly looking down. Still, it was his fault for not paying attention.

His brow furrowed as he watched the girl slowly walk off with little more than a mumbled “excuse me,” her head bowed and a truly morose look on her face. She seemed so down… Had something happened to her?

Of course, being who he was, he couldn’t let himself leave well enough alone. He turned towards her and, with just a few casual strides of his long legs, closed the distance to walk alongside her.

“My apologies for prying, young miss, but… Are you okay? You seem upset…”

( Akibahara Akibahara )

The unnamed sad teenager glanced over her shoulder at Yagi, shaking her head, "Nothing. I... just want to be left alone. That's all." You could see tears visibly streaming down her cheeks, her pace quickening to escape Yagi and his group. It was obvious she didn't want to associate with anyone at this point in time. Do you decide to:

A.) Follow the girl

B.) Continue onto Blackwell

"Well, some people call me Master Sex, but my given name is Master Shake. May I have the pleasure of your name, miss...?"

Shake jumped back as he felt his side get hit with a blunt object.

"Jesus Christ!"

I faced the weirdo with all the intent of ending his pathetic life, but I managed to calm myself down enough that I decided to spare him.

"What are you, deaf and stupid? I'm ME, I'm not dressed up as anyone. And just who are you supposed to be? Count Dickula? Because you like sucking dick?"

[[Late as fuck]] PROLOGUE/Post to make up for being late as fuck

chrome_2017-07-21_02-29-29.png

Garry made sure to sit in the furthest corner of the diner, staying out of any commotion, with an order of a plain vanilla milkshake and pancakes completely drowned in syrup. He tried to stay out of mind while doing a few sketches, scribbling with a pencil on the pages of a book. A lot of shit has gone down in the time that he's sketched the small diner, or what it would look like without people, and he's already had four refills of his shake. The pancakes have long been finished, and he barely paid any attention to the storm warning, figuring it wouldn't affect him in the long run. People have come, gone, made absolutely annoying scenes, and he still sits and hides in the safety of his current booth, watching and waiting for something to happen. Something that wasn't some kind of stupid commotion, that is. He wondered what brought all of these strangers here, he could tell they were as new as him to this town. The scruffy look of the signature dark and tattered coat Garry sported just made him obvious as a wanderer, as rare as those are in this day and age. Not to mention the fact that he carried a dark canvas bag filled with art supplies and a few food items, which would be strange on its own. Deciding that nothing interesting would happen there, he left the diner quietly, slipping out unnoticed before heading to an area he had wanted to see when he got into town: the Forest. Surely nothing bad could happen there either? Not that anything bad could affect him for very long, sadly. In all this gloomy damp weather it was unlikely that he could be lit on fire anytime soon, or get beheaded- it was highly unlikely that beheading would happen in such a quaint little town. Part of him realizes that it's spectacularly morbid to wonder about your own beheading, or lack of, but the rest of him is wondering when he's going to run into someone else, someone else that doesn't seem like they're a shadow of a person going through pre-set motions along an average day in an average town. He maybe also wants to talk to someone, but not many people are as morbid as he, and even less are apparently within the general vicinity. He's headed to the forest, but doesn't discount the idea of running into anyone on the way or changing destination while on the walk. For now, he wanders the streets taking a look around, muttering the words "At least there's nothing here trying to kill me yet..." to himself.

Elise continued to walk towards the forest, “Of course we can come back another day, if this storm doesn’t leave too much of a print maybe even tomorrow.” She gleefully smiled as she started to skip towards where the forest Easley, taking a few shortcuts until eventually they got to the forest, “Well, let’s go!” She cautiously started to walk into the forest.

Jason sees Leon roll behind him and goes to dodge when he remembers that the chances of him cutting through his Armour is basically impossible and he takes the hit. "You bastard you cut my fucking jacket". Jason then turns around and then headbutts the knife, which goes flying.

Leon, somewhat stunned at this turn of events, dives for the knife and snatches it off of the ground, before rolling and getting up on his feet. This created distance between the two warriors as Leon flipped his knife backwards in his hand. If slashing doesn't work, then I'll have to try stabbing. Leon's gaze settled on his opponent.

You search the bus.

As you walk past two broken doors leading inside, you could hear your own footsteps trail past you with a slight 'creeeeek' sound. You could see an object illuminate due to the sun's rays. If you stepped closer, a toolbox. If you opened it's contents, you would find a brand new part, a shiny gear of sorts, located within. Do you decide to take it? Y/N?
