Fandom Murder IV: Eye of the Storm

Kinara wandered the halls of the Foundation. She'd been given a set of jedi Robes, or at least, something similar to them at her request as her Christmas present for being a "good girl" during her year of captivity. Not that she had much of a choice. In a way she felt safe in these halls, and though she'd seen Celeste only a scant few times, their encounters weren't very long, nor fun. Sighing, she paused at a water fountain, and stooped to take a drink.

She still had residual pain sometimes in her side from where she was shot, but otherwise she was fully healed. She'd seen the horrors of the Clone Wars already, one day of chaos wasn't enough to scar her with PTSD or something similar. Some of her most rudimentary Force Abilities had come back during her usual Meditations, including her ability to sense things, find things, and see things. Absent however was her ability to grip anything and move it with the Force. Also absent, for obvious reasons, were her lightsabers and Blaster Pistol. Being tested on somewhere within Site nineteen no doubt. Closing her eyes, she tried to search for them - for the Force Signiture that she'd put into her own Lightsaber Cyrstals while making them - a part of her that gave them their color and Black Core...

She could Almost see them....

Pandora sat on the only luxury she had left. A lumpy cot provided by this stupid foundation. For a year now she had been stuck here. Interacted with on a timed schedule by doctors and thugs that attempted to poke and prod and see what made her tick. She sat in the middle of a cement room in an observation box made of three layers of bulletproof glass one foot between each wall. There were cameras trained on her. In person contact was extremely prohibited unless under the order of Class A personnel or for experimentation. She sat staring straight ahead at the only exit. The only entrance. It was experimentation day. They made sure to rotate the people who came to see her to prevent any ore them growing fond of her and feeding her. She had managed to ensnare a few unwitting D-class chumps here and there at the cost of heavy punishment. She looked down at her battered arms and legs. They hadn't healed yet since her food intake had been lowered to meager levels. Enough to keep her alive and of average comfortability. She frowned hard. She hungered. Maybe all of this wouldn't be so bad had they not put up that fucking warding to keep her beloved away. Damn Cain. Damn those traitorous succubi that had told them. She clenched her fists as a rage swelled in her throat.

She swallowed. She would continue to remain silent not telling them anything for as long as it took to get her way. She would be reunited with him. She swore it. As for the others...her friends...or those she had thought friends had been killed. She contorted her face as her eyes began to sting, threatening to drive her to tears for the fifth time that day. She looked up at the camera. Her only solace was knowing that those whore demons were killed and that her husband was now punishing them. It also provided comfort that they had been such low-level trollops that they didn't know anything about her besides she existed and wasn't like them. The foundation knew just as little but today was testing day. Anyone could walk through that door and when they did, she would know what to say, what to do, and how to look to try and get her fill. She was so tired of this. She waited. She stared. She plotted. Let the testing begin.

Pandora was sentenced along with her D-Class and SCP buddies to perform testing on SCP-914, a large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork. It is incredibly complex, consisting of over eight million moving parts comprised mostly of tin and copper, with some wooden and cloth items observed. Observation and probing have showed no electronic assemblies or any form of power other than the “Mainspring” under the “Selection Panel”. Two large booths 3mx2.1mx2.1m (10ftx7ftx7ft) are connected via copper tubes to the main body of SCP-914, labeled “Intake” and “Output”. Between them is a copper panel with a large knob with a small arrow attached. The words Rough, Coarse, 1:1, Fine, and Very Fine are positioned at points around the knob. Below the knob is a large “key” that winds the “mainspring”.

When an object is placed in the Intake Booth, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. If the knob is turned to any position and the key wound up, SCP-914 will “refine” the object in the booth. No energy is lost in the process, and the object appears to be in stasis until the Output Booth door is opened. Intense observation and testing have not shown how SCP-914 accomplishes this, and no test object has ever been observed inside SCP-914 during the “refining” process. The process takes between five and ten minutes, depending on the size of the object being refined.

In Pandora's hand was a generic [housekey]. SCP-914 was set to 'Rough'. She was not given any instruction on what to do yet.

Connor was enjoying his life in Miami...until the foundation caught them once more. Connor was now a..human guinea pig. Connor however was not stupid and complied with the foundations orders. He had to meet up with the old group, so with the most familiar face he knew...he went after Leon. Connor wandered the halls, in search of his old friend Leon, he must unite with the old group. Connor hurriedly looked around, but had no sight of Leon.

"Hey, Leon! It's me Connor, we need to find the old group!" Connor shouted out, hoping for Leon to hear him. Connor sighed, looking to himself. This all just seemed like a LSD trip. He...BECAME human, went to Miami and became a gun store owner. How did this happen? He...sort of missed Detroit, all of this changed because of Oregon. Connor shook his heads and dismissed those thoughts, it was too late for that. He inhaled, then exhaled, looking back up to himself as he hoped Leon would come upon him.

Pandora regarded the machine. Trapped, like her. She wondered if it could really be "trapped" at all. I mean...it was a machine. Was it even sentient? Who cared... She wasn't in the mood for testing and she wasn't interested in being complacent with the foundation after her treatment. She looked at the key in her hand and considered jamming it into one of the parts of the machine and breaking it. She knew she would suffer for it. But really, what more could they do to her? At least the other's weren't regarded as anomalies and put on display in a shitty room with no furnishings. They had freedom. She was a germ under a microscope. An SCP. She waited for a moment to see if she would be instructed. She didn't really care if she was. She was becoming despondent due to her hunger pains. As of recently, they had been feeding her normal food to see how she responded and if she regurgitated they took it and tested it. It would have been pathetic on the foundations part if it weren't humiliating on hers. She scowled. She wanted to rebel, terribly. She looked down at her foundation supplied jumpsuit. She had ripped off the sleeves and legs effectively turning it into a sort of romper. Maybe she could change it up again if she was well fed. She turned to look at the observer's only voyeuristic vantage. She stared intently. She had been saving energy. Maybe she could seduce the voyeur, even just a little. Enough to feed her.

She turned away back to this god awful device.

Celeste Seshafi Ikari | LOCATION: Within Site 19, D-Class Ward | WITH: Anyone else stuck there.
Celeste's mental state had taken a solid hit since being stuck in this place, cooped up like a fucking test monkey for their entertainment. Most of her days consisted of working out by herself in her room, and when that got boring, she would see how long it would take to make her legs go numb by beating her fist into them. She had to keep a compliant, stable image otherwise, because she would die trying to get out before she was subject to one of those fucked up things they were keeping in this shit hole of a facility. Sure, she had seen Kinara a few times, and it helped to some degree, but given how they were treated like prisoners, and her an even more secure one, their interactions were rarely more than an exchange of looks. The lack of interaction with just anyone that wasn't a chump or scumbag overall was getting to her too, leaving working out until she could barely move her limbs the only way of really channeling her stress, as there wasn't often a chance to beat on her legs, seeing how she was under near constant surveillance. The only real positive to it all was that she was steadily approaching peak, physical conditioning again, the progress was slow seeing as she had no real exercise equipment to speak of, but hours upon hours of body weight workouts were really adding up. There was no way in hell she was going to die here, not a fucking chance, she had come to far in her life to rot away in this place.

So when she wasn't shutting off half of her brain to prevent an outburst, she was detailing any possible escape scenario that she could, otherwise appearing as little more than a blank slate that followed orders and routine. With the little free time that she did receive, she would devote her time to walking as many of the halls she was given access to, making a mental map of the facility, since those rare occasions were the only times she had a chance to do so. At the very least, some of the stuff they had her interact with so far hadn't killed her or worse so far, and it was those breaks in the monotony of her stay at Site 19 that kept her from fully jumping off the deep end, even if those experience left her with more questions than they did answers.

(Gonna add some more styling on this bitch!)

Vaati spent most of his time locked away sleeping in his carefully maintained human form, hoping they wouldn't notice just how monstrous he could become. He knows he hasn't shown any potential for danger since arriving in this world, so he was thankful that they treated him like any other human, but he was PISSED when they took him from his Miami home. He was this close to getting a girlfriend. Maybe... Hopefully? That didn't matter now. What mattered was reuniting with the others and leaving this shit hole.

He was sealed away for Centuries, on multiple occasions, so waiting a few years is not a problem. He hoped whatever boring task they were forced to go through today wasn't too obnoxious.

Kinara was summoned to SCP-914, but you could sense something important. A new SCP, one that you vaguely remembered, perhaps? Or not since you hung around the bodybuilding lesbian most of the time in Arcadia Bay. A strange force led you to a nearby Foundation Scientist's desk, he was typing up a document before sitting up and walking toward the restroom. He offered a small smile at Kinara before opening the door into the Men's Restroom. Do you decide to:

A.) Check what he was typing up.

B.) Head to SCP-914

C.) Spray his desk full of slit sauce.

Toshinori, as was the case on most mornings, could be found lightly jogging to one side of the hall running through the D-Class ward. When he’d first awoken in this place a year prior, he’d been so weak and out of it from his injuries that he simply didn’t have the energy or presence of mind to put up a fight about being taken prisoner. By the time he was well enough to raise a fist to anyone, he’d already learned good and well that good behavior earned one more freedom in the facility, while the opposite only saddled you with more hardship. He’d been an exemplary inmate since learning that, and thus was able to freely wander the halls. He’d even been allowed to visit Kate once or twice.

Of course, there wasn’t a day that went by without him wondering what his friends and colleagues back in Japan thought happened to him. Did they think he was dead, killed in the storm at Arcadia Bay? Somehow he doubted that. Even after his retirement, he’d been a beloved figure in his home country, the hero all other heroes looked up to. He couldn’t imagine anyone would accept the story of his death without a body, without some sort of proof. And if that were the case, then he could only imagine the manhunt that had unfolded over the past year. He knew he was still likely somewhere in America, meaning he was well outside the jurisdiction of the Japanese Pro Heroes, but they had a good rapport with the American heroes. Surely they’d be working together to try to find him. If only he could find a way to let them know of his location…

As he mulled over these thoughts in his mind, he spotted Celeste up ahead. He didn't really know her, but he'd seen her around.

“Oh, good morning. How are you doing today?” he greeted politely, though her unhappy countenance hadn’t passed his notice. She was likely concentrating on the one thing any of them ever fantasized about: escape.

Kinara knew about 914 by now, and didn't have any intention of going there any time soon.... and while the idea of pissing... or otherwise.... on this guy's desk did cross her mind, she would rather be a nosy girl, rather than a devious and bad girl.... or even a good girl right now. Wincing as she grabbed at the scar of the bullet hole in her body, she leaned over his chair, and tilted her head. Just what was he typing?

Using the Force, she made sure she would have enough time, or tried to, but found that she still couldn't do much more than see simple things, not how long she had before he came back from the bathroom, or even where Celeste was. A pout tainted her features, and she sighed, before moving around to sit in the Scientist's chair to read what he was typing.

In the midst of her aimless wandering of the halls, she was finally approached by someone, and given that it wasn't some foundation asshat, she was willing to spare some genuine attention. Upon actually looking at the person and not through them like she usually defaulted to, she realized it was that blonde guy who was always lightly shuffling around the halls, which given his build, probably did better for him than outright working out. He was notably taller than even she was, but about twice as thin. Something about those proportions seemed off to her, as if he had once filled it out entirely, but lost the strength or will to over time, but maybe that was just her bored mind running away with a tangent. Squashing that thought for now, she mustered up the will to speak in a more human manner, stuttering in the process, which was incredibly out of character for her. Not that he would know. "O-Oh... Mornin'... I guess I'm fine. Just... wandering around." Her voice was hoarse and gruff from misuse, seeing as she barely spoke to anyone unless giving simple answers to foundation personnel.

A ghost of a smile crawled its way onto her face, quickly finding an appreciation for the chance of some decent, human interaction in this drab maze of corridors and rooms. "Your jogging k-keeping you in shape?" She asked, grimacing some at herself, not used to hearing her usual lion-esque roar of a voice coming out as such a whimper, let alone a stuttering whimper. If she wasn't in the company of Toshinori she might have let more anger bleed through, but tried her best to contain it in his presence, shifting back to that forced, faint smile.

"Hi."

Kate Marsh.

A girl sporting a black-on-white outfit, the exact same one in Arcadia Bay, walked up to All Might. She looked better for wear, more so than when you first met her at Blackwell Academy. Kate had her arms pressed against her back as she casually walked into the D-Class Ward. Her eyes glowed a dim orange, intermingled with their natural hazel color. She smiled softly, revealing a book labeled The October Country by Ray Bradbury. A bookmark sporting the SCP Foundation logo was clear on top. The girl cleared her throat, letting out a small sigh.

"I know you probably don't want to see me, but here..."

She extends a hand with the book in tow.

"I thought you'd might like this."

Garry had... an unfortunate awakening among the SCP foundation workers. When he finally woke up hours after the death-blow, he was screaming so much that it tore his vocal cords and ripped his throat to pieces, adding to what was already afflicting him, what with his head repairing itself. The Rose vines were ripped out of his skin when the hours were nearly done, and he spent the next three weeks avoiding sleep and passing out to suffer nightmares. A passing scientist made a remark about 'no good tea around' and Garry flipped personalities from depressive to bright and polite in the next day. Pretty soon he was the go-to if you wanted to know the perfect break-time snack to give you the energy you needed for your tasks at hand, and he was allowed to wander the halls. He was on such a walk now, serenely sipping some peppermint tea and walking around giving pastry tips to any random person that asked.
nervous laughter.png flustered clutz.png
Wait a minute- isn't that the Yagi fellow? And, one of the other people, but Garry had been really concerned about the guy that had to literally watch his head explode, so he didn't really notice more than a brief glance at the girl. Nervously laughing, he sipped his tea and walked over, intending on apologizing for causing the poor man such distress. "Um, excuse me! I believe I never caught your name, back when, well back when a lot of things were very much more hectic." That was as good an attention grabber as any he supposed, lightly tapping the shoulder of the man gently. No need to give the guy any bigger of a shock than he already was, he still felt pretty bad about not being able to warn the hero. Maybe they could get together for tea in the eatery, the fragile looking man looked like he could use a cup or two. "Oh! And, well, I would also like to apologize for any, um, unpleasantness caused by my rather gruesome fate. It was my own fault. And I hadn't meant to expose you to such things." Well that was perfectly polite! Now he's just waiting calmly(read: Really Fucking Nervously) for a response, because this is something he'd been freaking out over for the entire time he's been awake here at the facility. "And um, please pardon my rudeness at interrupting you with your friends-" Garry was such a mess, visibly struggling to decide to run away or stick around and actually have this particular conversation. In fact, he'd really rather just run because he just now recognized Kate as the very person that 'killed' him to begin with.

At least it's better here than anywhere else he could be(debatable)

You decided to be a nosy girl and read up on the [Scientist's Document]. It's an SCP entry:

"SCP-4997 is a Level 5 Humanoid Apparition, free roaming, corporeal, actively aggressive. It appears to be the wraith of one Rachel Amber, who was abducted, ritually tortured, and decapitated on October 4th, 2018, in Arcadia Bay, Oregon. Since that time, on the 4th of every month, SCP-4997 has returned to the ruins of Blackwell Academy. Recordings have shown that its physical appearance shows the wounds of its death. The eyes appear to be white, continuously bleeding, and its head removable from the base of the neck.

SCP-4997's range of movement has extended to all of the confines of Blackwell Academy. If a civilian breaches the perimeter, it vanishes from view, to reappear next to the victim, where it will re-enact the methods of its murder upon the trespasser. See internal research paper 'Apparition Escalation: Preliminary Research into Human Triggered Escalation of Apparition Hostility' by Tamlin et al. for more details regarding this and other similar phenomena."

The Foundation Scientist didn't budge. Honestly, while they may not have read her document, they do know the consequences of sexual intercourse or flirtatious interactions with SCPs: A pay cut, decreased hours, and possibly termination. Besides, why fuck a succubus when you have your right hand? The Junior Researcher rolled his eyes, "Begone, thot!," he said in a deep, exaggerated voice, "And complete what I asked you to." The researcher next to him chuckled, "She puts the key in the input chamber or gets the hose again!" The duo laughed heartily, enough to stir the only female Junior Researcher awake. She seemed irritated.

Chloe had been grouped with the rest of the “D-Classers” since the events of a year prior. It had been a tough transition, sure, especially after all that had happened that night, but she eventually found herself... accommodating to the changes in almost no time at all. Really, the changes weren’t even the worst part, if she was being completely honest.

No, you see, Chloe had never truly gotten him out of his head.

She didn’t know who exactly it was, but his influence hadn’t left her a while ago. Hell, he hadn’t even spoken to her since the events of that horrible, terrible night. But his influence still loomed over her. Every now and then she’d have rather violent urges, whether it be to kill a staff member or even one of her fellow D-Class roommates. The constant urges left Chloe on edge, and although they’d died down recently, the damage had already been done.

Most of her cellmates were already weary of her. She had a tendency to snap or even (albeit rarely) attack her cellmates, though only when provoked enough.

And then this fucking bitch came in.

It was no secret to anyone that Chloe didn’t like Kate Marsh. After what had happened that night at Blackwell though, could you blame her? After all that she and her other fucking psychotic friends had pulled, Kate was lucky that Chloe hadn’t fucking strangled her yet, even if she had “reformed” or whatever she wanted to call it. Really, she didn’t even understand why upstanding fellows like All Might even have her the time of day.

“The fuck do you think you’re doing here, you psychotic bigot?” Chloe asked in a snippy tone, not even attempting to be happy to see the girl.

See internal research paper "Apparition Escalation: Preliminary Research into Human Triggered Escalation of Apparition Hostility" by Tamlin et al. for more details regarding this and other similar phenomena."

Kinara pouted again as she read the entry, and sighed, looking away from the screen. She'd felt Rachel's death through the Force during the shit-storm that had ensued when everything went crazy in Arcadia bay. Sighing, she rose from the seat, and started to head for the door of the room... Might as well be a good girl now, and do what she was told to do: Head towards 914. The halls were never ending and the same no matter what, with the occasional Motivational poster plastered on the wall to keep the Foundation staff from killing themselves in any one of many horrible ways possible within Site 19.

That's when it hit her.

A bursting pain in her head, causing her to grab the sides of her head and let out a scream as the Force broke through the drugs normally suppressing its hold on Kinara, and showed her the truth. The Future, and the aftermath. A great lizard, unkillable and unstoppable, on a rampage within the Facility... soon... no clear date.... so much death. Pain... fear....Another scream erupted from Kinara's throat as she dropped to her knees, hands still grasping the sides of her head. She was stuck within the vision, and the year of being unable to tap into the Force completely had left her unable to get herself out of it. As a result, the area immediately around her began to deform. The Walls warped, Floor Tiles shattered and rose from the ground, the water fountain was crushed and sprayed water all over the hall, some lights flickered on and off and others completely shattered. And her third scream seemed to echo across Site 19.

Pandora smiled to herself. She took the key and swallowed it. Meal number three. She looked up at the researchers and flipped them the bird. "I'll take the hose over the hosers." With that, she doubled over regurgitating the remains of former meals in a highly acidic concoction. "Shoulda read the file assholes." She laughed as she flung the acidic compound onto the machine and the exit. Even if the next part didn't work out. She's be going where she needed to. She grinned maniacally as the corrosion began to take effect. Nothing like demon charged acid to bring a plan together. She knew these idiots would be losing their jobs as a result of incompetence after this and that sadistic pleasure was just what she needed. She felt a shiver run down her spine as the surge of energy filled her. She sat down and smiled happily, like a good little monster waiting for security to lock down the building because of the potential breach. Not escaping would gain her some points and naturally, they'll want her to tell them what happened. She had the negotiation upper hand so to speak and a plethora of knowledge the foundation director wanted...needed even. Well, now he could ask. Luckily the machine seemed unaffected but the exit...now..that was a problem. It corroded, albeit slowly. Enough they'd call it a breach and some juniors would have to answer for their crimes. Unfortunately, the security footage seemed to fritz out in the audio department so who knew what they had told her? Why, they might have told her to eat the key.

Toshinori gave Celeste a gentle smile as she replied. Her voice sounded rough, as though it hadn’t been properly used in ages.

“Yeah, I guess you could say that. It’s about all the exercise my body can handle on a daily basis. I used to work out more – sort of like yourself, I’d imagine – but then I got injured, and, well…” he trailed off a bit there at the end, rubbing at the back of his neck a bit. He’d gotten a little more accustomed to talking about his old injury in the past year, having had his every scar, his every damaged or missing organ thoroughly traced and documented by the researchers of the facility.

Before he could come up with further small talk to engage in, he heard a familiar voice address him. He turned slightly to see Kate Marsh approach him. He greeted the girl with a warm smile. Whatever that thing was that she’d transformed into before, he knew that wasn’t the real Kate, and he wouldn’t fault her for it. In any case, she seemed like her old self now, and that was good.

“Oh, thank you very much, Miss Marsh. That’s very kind of you,” he replied as he accepted the book she held out to him. He’d heard of it before, but never read it – he’d always been more of a movie guy. In any case, though he knew enough that it was a collection of macabre short stories, he was genuinely grateful for the gift. It got terribly boring there sometimes, and he could use something to read, even something like this.

Of course, his good-natured smile seemed to waver a bit at the corners when he spotted Chloe approaching the group, an embarrassed rosy hue coloring his cheeks. The last time he’d seen Chloe… Well, let’s just say this poor girl had seen more of him than he ever cared to show, and he’d seen more of her than he ever cared to see. Add onto that the events of that damnable play, and… Well, needless to say, it was quite awkward to be around her again.

Toshinori opened his mouth to intervene in the argument suddenly brewing between Chloe and Kate – neither of whom he really cared to see get into a scuffle – but he spotted yet another familiar face approaching the group. The instant he spotted Garry, the retired hero’s complexion seemed to drain of all color, his shadowy eyes widening in shock. But… That was impossible! He distinctly recalled watching that boy’s head being crushed before his very eyes! He was dead! He had to be!

“U-uuhhh… I-I beg your pardon for just a moment, but… I’m not the only one seeing this, right?!” he questioned the gathering of young women, his voice trembling almost as much as the finger he held pointed in Garry’s general direction. Please, don’t let him be seeing things again… Those occasional hallucinations of his old arch nemesis were bad enough, he didn’t need another one haunting his conscience.

Oh dear, it seems that he'd caused a bit of shock, and there are others there, and its shocking enough that the poor fellow was asking if the others could see him! Oh dear indeed, Garry is nervously trying to not visibly panic (he's failing) while clutching at his tea, which he's debating downing like a shot of alcohol. "O-Oh, um, I'm not- I am actually very much here, I'm sorry to alarm you." He really is sorry, he just wants to apologize, and maybe reassure himself that the man isn't traumatized too badly, and actually survived. Actually, he can see the man survived, and is even looking better! It's good that he'd healed from the injuries he'd been suffering last time Garry saw him. Oh that is a good thing to mention! "And pardon me for bringing it up, but it's good to see you doing much better than when I last saw you, you looked as if a breeze could injure you further then! I didn't do a very good job of helping out though, Only managed a very small distraction I think? I don't actually remember much after the blow landed." Which is entirely understandable, as one can not process thoughts, let alone surrounding events, when one doesn't have a functioning brain at that particular moment in time. He woke up close to an hour later in Foundation custody, in extreme pain, and wishing for someone to just blow him up to be done with it. Shame nobody ever listens to him, he can't even light himself on fire. Shaking out of his thoughts, Garry stays quiet and waits for the people to process his status among the living (sorta).

Well, even if it was nothing more than a cursory exchange of greetings and simply answered question, Celeste did enjoy what she did share with Toshinori, though she wasn't even able to get his name before a swarm of people congregated around him. She didn't think he was that popular, but she guessed it had something to do with how highly he held his chin up despite being stuck in the place for a year. Seeing that for now he had a lot on his plate to deal with, she set to shuffle off from the group, once his attention was fully pulled away at least, setting off in the opposite direction to look for something else or someone else to entertain herself with for the time being. The small exchange with the man had inspired her to find at least something more to do than keep to herself, that, and she really wanted to get her voice back in proper use. It was disgraceful to her pride and her body to let it become as shriveled up as it had. Her train of thought was brought to a screeching halt as she caught the echo of a scream from... somewhere. She wondered if one of those things was playing with her head, but she couldn't help but feel oddly drawn to it, hearing another, louder scream as she got closer to the source. There was some backtracking involved, but as she found her way through the corridors, she was able to hear that last scream with enough clarity to be certain it was Kinara. Something had set her off it seems, and maybe Celeste could get there first and do something before she was shoved away into confinement again, not to be seen or heard from for some time.

With as brisk of a walking pace as she could, not wanting to get interrogated for sprinting somewhere, the mercenary headed for what she assumed was the Jedi she had been separated from since they've been here, hoping that she wasn't being toyed with. A reveal like that would snap the delicately made balance she had instilled in her emotions, or rather, the fragile lock she had slapped on her anger. Though, she broke her own rule a little bit and began to break out into a light jog as she came across flickering lights, figuring she must be close, partially skidding around one of the many corners just before finding the woman she was looking for. "Kinny!" She firmly called out, her vocal cords protesting to do even that much as she just about tackled her former partner with a bear hug, leaving the smaller woman's head snugly planted against her chest. "I'm here... I-It's alright...!" she brought her mouth close to Kinara's ear, to make up for a lack of volume behind it, hoping that she could break through and snap her out of whatever fit she was having.

The bear-hugging tackle snapped Kinara out of her fit, and made her blink a few times, the tears no longer streaming down her cheeks again as she remembered where she was, stunned and unable to move for a moment before she realized whose arms she was in. "C-Celeste!" She cried out happily, throwing her slender arms around her larger lover, and nuzzling her face into the woman's chest before wriggling her way up and smothering the larger woman's collar bones, neck, jaw, cheeks, forehead, and lips with tons of tiny, happy kisses. "Oh I've missed you so much~~ They wouldn't let me see you, said I hadn't been a good enough girl." she said in between frenzied kisses.

After a while she planted one solid, passionately loving kiss to the larger woman's lips, breaking it only to speak again, her tone lower. "I... had a vision... the Force... it cleared my system of the drugs... showed me... everything to happen.... Another SCP will... break containment... big lizard.... They can't kill it, but it can kill them... all of them... IF I don't tell someone we'll all be in danger." she said, shuddering and then burying her face into Celeste's shoulder. She took a breath and sighed. "They'll be coming for me soon... I've never had an outburst like this... but... this.. .they'll come for me again..."

"Chloe? Max told me about you."

Kate Marsh stepped back, giving way to the angry, blue-haired punk girl. Despite her enormous abilities, the Christian girl still had that timid personality instilled in her since Blackwell. Upon hearing Chloe's response, she shook her here, "I... don't know. All I remember I- I was with Mr. Yagi and then everything went black. When I woke up, I was in a white cell. A bunch of nice doctors talked to me. Asked me what I was capable of doing. Ever since then I've been here." She smiled weakly, "I kind of like it at Site 19. Always people to protect me from others. To keep me safe."

She nodded at All Might as he accepted her gift. It really made her happy.

"Sir, I... I know what I did was wrong. I'm... I'm a monster. I know that. I'm glad you're so forgiving. So few are."

Another sigh.

She sat down on a nearby bed just as-

"Um, excuse me! I believe I never caught your name, back when, well back when a lot of things were very much more hectic."

Kate froze. That's really all there is to say to it. An image flashed in her mind: A boy. A scared, little boy. His cranium ripped open by monstrous claws. Brain and blood caked the walls and ceiling. Her eyes glazed over momentarily, "How...?" She looked down at Garry, "I killed you. Nobody could have survived that."

Chloe’s expression almost immediately softened a bit as Kate mentioned Max. She hadn’t seen her since the incident last year, due to them being housed in different containment and such, so hearing about her from just about anyone was music to her ears at this point. It gave Chloe a simmer of hope that maybe, just maybe someone she gave a damn about was still alive.

“M-Max... how is she?” Chloe asked, hoping that her kindness could wield some answers out of the poor Kate.
