This is a type of roleplay that I've never really tried or heard of— if anyone is interested in writing a plot like this, feel free to dm me!

The Rising of the Shield Hero
The possible pairing would be
Naofumi Iwatani and Hajime Nagumo, and can be written as either romantic or platonic. For this au Hajime is in his early to mid 20s to avoid possible issues.
I'd also like to add that I'm not new to either verses, but I've only seen the anime— I've yet to read the manga \ light novels. I don't mind spoilers, but I'd like to avoid them if possible.
I don't have prior experience roleplaying either of these characters, but I'd feel more comfortable writing as Naofumi. However, I am willing to try writing as Hajime.
I have very few rules, so I'll share them in dms!
I don't want to spoil my au too much so I will just give the basic gist of it!
Falling through worlds!
Despite it being a forbidden action to, 'invade another world.' Naofumi unintentionally unlocks a new shield ability, to travel to other words. Unfortunately he can't control this ability, he also doesn't get to choose when this happens. As for what world he ends up in it's, entirety random— upon traveling to said world he starts at lv 1, when completing said task in the world Naofumi is granted the ability to travel to the world whenever he likes.
Dropped into a decrepit underground ruin Naofumi wakes up at lv 1— Raphtalia and Filo are no where to be found. The Shield Hero has absolutely no idea where he is, only a task to find someone and help them. . .
