One Thousand Club
I'm looking for roleplaying partners. I would like your skill levels to be moderate+, meaning that you should be able to write replies of three paragraphs or more. There is no excuse for one-liners, I like to think that I give enough information to play with as I can guarantee you three or more paragraphs. I generally will post once a day, but I get busy. I will understand if you don't post daily, so please extend the same patience to me. I have a list of ideas below, but if you have any specific ideas, then don't hesitate to suggest them. If you are interested in my storylines below then be prepared to rely on your character to roleplay. I make dynamic characters that have numbers of issues and I know that I can sustain a storyline through just dialogue.

A fragile lonely psychiatrist enters the cell one of the most infamous psychopaths in Arkham Asylum. I'm sure you know the story, but I'm a sucker for playing out the tragic fall of Harleen Quinzel (Harley Quinn) to the Joker.
The emphasis would of course would be the manipulation of Quinn's feelings by a sadistic Joker rather than the events after. I would want to play Harley Quinn. I just don't play the Joker.
Sightings of the Batman have grown scarce in recent weeks leading many members of his rogue's gallery to grow excited and hopeful. If Batman is gone then perhaps they can carve up a piece of Gotham of their own or increase their slice of the pie.
So, in this story Batman wouldn't be a character or present at all. Honestly, I love Bats, but I can't think of a way to include him in a meaningful/not overpowered way. Instead, this story would focus on Batman's rogue gallery or an OC (if you come up with something awesome) and their interactions and power struggles within Gotham.
These would be characters that I'd be interested in playing (though this is an interest list and not a definitive list... I don't intend to play ALL of these characters, don't be ridiculous. Clearly, I just haven't decided on specific ones, so if your favourite is on there, then no problem... let me know. Unless your favourite is Scarecrow, because I'm sure about Scarecrow.) I'd probably play around 3-4 characters and I think that you would need to be able to play multiples to make this story work.
I'm okay with playing the hitchhiker or the one driving, no preference. I would also build my character after yours to complement or contrast yours; I generally find that a wild-child/hippy type works well with a straight laced business orientated person, but we can we discuss our characters if you're interested. Basically one person gets a ride with another and we see what happens. This is why I emphasized characters in the description, if your character is one-dimensional, then this story quickly dissolves.
I'm sure everyone knows what the Hunger Games are and I would like to play out the games as a Career. I usually go a little soft with this particular story, I've usually done a story where my Career gets saved by a girl from another district who has the survival skills that he lacked. Romance is an option in this story if you're interested in romance.
I've never played this storyline before, but I can't help but to think that it's fantastic (puffs chest out). So, obviously, you should have read the books and if you didn't and plan to then stop reading here. My memory of the languages and spells is practically non-existent, don't hold me to any of that and I won't hold you to it. The story would pick up with a young human rider traveling to the distant training center that Eragon set up at the end of Inheritance, this rider gets intercepted along the way by powerful dark wizards and the rider is twisted into a Shade.
Intriguing right? There's never been a Shade rider before, imagine the carnage. IMAGINE IT. We would play as two new riders who are learning their arts as the Shade begins to terrorize Alagaesia (Lanta, I almost wrote Westeros... it's been a LONG time since I've read these books). Soon it will become evident, that despite being vastly unprepared, our characters will be required to enter a war that will prove to be devastating to Alagaesia.
I've never liked what has happened to vampires, so I've decided to make them scary again. In this story, the world has succumbed to a virus unlike any other seen to date. It spreads through bodily fluid and infection with this virus could have one of two effects: you could be lucky and your body could be unequipped to handle the virus and you would grow feverish and die... or worse... your body could prove to be hospitable to the virus and begin to make the changes.
I don't really want to spend too much time describing this if nobody is interested but it comes in four different stages with the vampire growing to be a better hunter with each stage and less human. These vampires cannot go out into sunlight, but they are supreme hunters. Each stage has its strengths but generally it goes from intelligence to brute strength. The longer someone has been infected the better hunter they are and humanity has been wiped out to a handful of resourceful survivors.
My characters would be three siblings, one of whom was bitten the day before.
