  • 1. I feel like it goes without saying at this point but no godmoding, no bunnying, no power playing, no marysues, no etc, etc. Basically, your character isn't perfect, isn't a god and doesn't have the powers of one, you can't control other people's characters, your character isn't immortal, etc, etc, etc.
    2. With the exception of gods and immortals, all species, even made up ones, are allowed.
    3. Romance is allowed, just fade to black.
    4. No limit on how many characters you can have as long as you can handle it.
    5. Since this will be a huge roleplay, please make sure to include location and who you're roleplaying with in every post.
    6. No killing unless agreed upon by both parties first.
    7. So we know you read all these rules (cause I know there are a lot) include the word "please" somewhere in your character sheet.

Race History
Known to man as a mythological creature, The Phoeni are an alien race that thrives in another galaxy, on the largest star which they refer to as The Sun. There they protect an eternal flame—a source which has existed since the beginning of time, powering all of the stars—including Earth’s sun—in the universe.

In attempts to create stronger offspring, they searched for a species most compatible with their own composition, eventually, the Phoeni discovered humans. Whenever a star has lived its life, The Phoeni see to its destruction and thereafter m, travel to Earth to create new life. If their hybrid offspring has a strong aura they bring them back to The Sun, but if the offspring is weak they leave them on Earth to their fate of death within weeks after being born. The birthing/conceiving process is a difficult one. The human involved either dies after giving birth due to severe respiratory issues which only manifest after the phoenix child is born—up until then the child protects the mother from aliments. After being conceived, the father quickly develops the slightly less severe ailment and suffocates to death—both caused by severe and slightly severe respiratory issues.

Appearance | Standing at roughly five-foot-three, her weight is properly distributed for a girl of athletic build—a developing figure with hips slightly wider than the bust. Diana has a smooth, bronze complexion, copper red hair which falls into loose spiral curls down to her waist and blue eyes the color of a clear sky. Dark freckles are lightly speckled across her nose and different places on her body.

Personality | Diana is nothing short of an intense person, with a fiery high-spirited personality—if she is given a task she will accept it and will not relinquish until it is perfectly done. In this way she is resolute. Even so, she is known to be impulsive at times, taking on too many things at once and feeling disheartened when she cannot go through with them all. Diana overestimates herself and has a propensity to be over-confident. When criticized, she does not take it well—often becoming belligerent in response. In general, although she is relatively friendly, optimistic and talkative… Diana is very argumentative and outspoken, often using her sharp wit to her advantage. Normally, she maintains a warm and welcoming aura, making her easy to talk to, she enjoys listening to problems others have and offering a shoulder to cry on. Her affection is almost smothering. Diana is an active, sporty person and competitive at heart. When angry, she has a propensity towards becoming cold and withdrawn.

History | From the bustling city of Boston, Massachusetts, Diana was one of the many children who were born into the system. Adopted before she could remember this fact, her life up until turned thirteen was the standard—in fact, it would have remained so if not for her dormant abilities becoming active as she started to reach maturity. The family that adopted Diana decided it was best to keep her adoption a secret since she would be their child since birth. It was only when her uncanny abilities began to develop that her adoptive parents told her the truth. These string of events only made the loose threads between Diana and the only family she knew thinner—growing up, Diana always felt a distance between herself and others, even her parents. The constant fights about the smallest things paired with Diana’s turbulent personality did not help the relationship and unbeknownst to her and even her adoptive family, she belongs to a race of creatures known as Phoenixes to the earthly population, who reside on The Sun in a galaxy far from her own. When the letter with the golden seal arrived in the mail, her parents tried to open it themselves but simply couldn't. They had no choice but to give it to Diana, who opened it with ease and began to read its contents. Finishing, she was nearly bursting with excitement. Diana explained to her parents that she was invited to attend a boarding school for the gifted, the very sound of it made her finally believe she could find a place in this world of her own. They demanded to see the letter, to them--it simply appeared as if Diana did get invited to a boarding school, a completely mundane boarding school somewhere in Japan. With Diana increasingly becoming more to handle as her powers begin to fester inside of her, yet to reach implosion. It did not take much effort to convince her parents to let her go--and off she went, and if there was anyone Diana was honest with... it was everyone, especially herself. She did not know for sure if she would ever be back.

As of now, Diana and her family aren’t on speaking terms—a few months before coming to Irie her adoptive mother revealed she was pregnant with their first child.

History: Her parents thought she was weird for her telekinesis abilities and they threw out and she came to Mr. Fukurou Academy, where she found she could be herself. She had kept quiet for awhile and still does afraid they will throw her out as well.

Appearance:
Severynd is a big friendly giant, standing a full 7'4". He's very muscular as a result of his height, which he exercises daily to maintain. His clothing is always black or very dark, along with black boots he wears everywhere. With messy brown hair and a calm, gentle face, the only thing scary about him is his size. His eyes are a bright gold, being much brighter in sunlight. But of course, the most notable this about his appearance is the bandages that cover over half of his face.

Personality:
There is nothing hostile about Severynd, the kind to say please and thanks with everything he does. He's a very peaceful kid that only resorts to violence as a last resort. It's not that he thinks highly of himself, but that he hates seeing harm come to people. This being said, he's a very shy and timid fellow, only speaking when spoken too or when he's feeling extra brave. He's very easy to fluster since he was seen as a freak his entire life, as many are. His happy place is the library, constantly having his nose in a new book. He thought knowledge and story were the best thing he could get out of life.

History:
Severynd didn't always look like this. In fact, he was a very sweet little boy who devoted his time to his books. Being alone with his father after his mother left made them very close. His father was a bioengineer, researching drugs and enhancements for military use. He had gotten hold of a very rare strand of DNA, and wanted to use it on a human test subject. His work denied him, seeing it as inhumane to test on humans. He was driven nearly mad. He knew this is what he'd been looking for his entire career, his big break. If he wasn't going to be given a test subject, he'd use his own son... The rest is unknown. The only thing released publicly was that Severynd's father was jailed for his crime and Severynd was put into rehabilitation and foster. No one knows exactly what the father did, but they knew it turned Severynd into what he is today.

Abilities:

Shadow Manipulation:
Severynd can make tangible objects from darkness, but only simple ones. A blade or shield is possible, but something like a bow would not be.

Enhanced Senses:
Exactly what you might think. Severynd's sight is incredible, and his sense of smell accurate enough to detect a cigarette from across the room without even seeing it. The rest of his senses have similar limitations.

Enhanced Strength:
While Severynd does exercise quite a bit, it doesn't explain the fact that he can lift over twice his weight, which is 1200 pounds.

Strengths:

Calmness:
Severynd is not easily excited. He can deal with quite a bit of pestering before he speaks up, but even then he would let it continue unbothered.

Intelligence:
Reading all those books has made Severynd very wise and mature for his age.

Weaknesses:

Daytime:
Severynd is pretty much a night owl if he can be. His abilities are not nearly as effective during the day time, forcing him to resort to his strength if need be.

Fast Opponents:
Severynd is a power hitter in combat. If his opponent is faster than he is, it's just a game of stamina at that point. Small people make him nervous.

Range:
Since Severynd only creates javelins for ranged attacks, anyone who can attack from out of that range can pick him off fairly easily.


Other:
Severynd is very friendly, but will be very defensive about his bandages. It's best not to talk about them, and gods forbid you touch them.

Severynd also has a very strange stutter that happens occasionally throughout his sentence.

Appearance: 7ft, 300 lbs. Horns; scales in patches on his face, neck, arms, back, the backs of his calves/feet, and thighs, though this only covers small areas in these select places. Small slender tail with points at the end. Muscular frame, though not of superhuman strength. Max dead weight is 700 lbs at the moment, but is working towards improvement. Very particular about showing his own skin, though pays no mind to other people doing it. His clothes will often have holes in them because of how sharp his scales are when they catch on the cloth, and a small peek of scar tissue may be visible, but only if someone were to look very closely, and no, he won't talk about it. He won't talk at all really lol please don't touch the tail, it's v sensitive and he will be upset. Keeps covered all the time, even when working out or training. Horns (according to the game lore from which his race is derived) increase hearing and spatial awareness. The horns are his ears: his hearing comes from the interaction of vibration with the horns that reverberates into the hollow cavity of his horns, causing him to process sound differently than humans. Black hair and scales, greyed skin, silver eyes with gold limbal rings (for humans its the dark black ring around the iris, for Lance it’s a bright gold color that glows and dulls with emotion and vitality, specific to some Au Ra). Hands are rough and calloused for a number of reasons,

Personality: Timid, but attempts to be friendly when meeting new people. He doesn't try to push them away unless they get too physically close, but he has nearly no experience with socialization so he comes across quite awkward and socially inept (half the time someone makes a joke, he probably wouldn't get it, unless it was a pun. He loves puns). Loves to cook but has a habit of over-seasoning just a little, still adjusting to a life where he can experience all kinds of new things, including flavors. Works out on a regular basis to channel suppressed rage and other emotions keep healthy and stay fit. Extremely protective of those he attaches himself to, and quick to latch on when he decides he likes someone (romantically or platonically).

History: Hm, well, to sum this up as succinctly as possible: Big Sads. Originally apart of a tribe in a secluded part of the world, he wandered too far off from his tribe as a child (abt 5/6), found by some missionaries that had been travelling through the area. The pastor that presided over them was convinced our BFG here was possessed of a demon, due to his otherworldly features, and spent quite a few years trying to 'exorcise' the demon out of him through unpleasant means. Good luck getting to that part of his story. He was imprisoned for another seven years, and only as of five years ago had he been able to rejoin society. Lance had wandered off into Miss Morgan's library, after being saved by her sister that happened to be a part of the missionary troupe, undercover on behalf of a police task force who suspected that Lance wasn't the only one in this predicament. She died rescuing him however, which will haunt him for the rest of his life. Until last year, he had been homeschooled by foster mother, teaching him everything from how to walk again (comfortably), feeding himself, bathing, etc. up to reading and writing, which is an essential part of his communication methods.

Abilities:
Light/illusion magic- He can "weave" beams of light between his fingers. This is how he communicates, by making words and images appear on nearby surfaces. He can also make 'lightwave' weapons of concentrated light, but he can't keep these up for long, as the intensity of the light will quickly start to burn his hands.

Quick read- reads abnormally fast after growing up in Miss Morgan's library, a technique he picked up from her as she tutored him. Also an essential part of his ability to communicate through written word.

Sign language- He learned this before he learned English or his 'native' language, and is quite fluent, though they can be a little confusing to other conversation partners because he started to make up signs only MM and he would know, since until now she was the only person he had to practice with.

Strengths: Gentle/kind, strong (not just physically), quick learner, patient, understanding, open minded to new ideas, imaginative (occupational hazard, with his magic)

Weaknesses: weaving too much burns/hurts his hands, dumb af, can be moody/emotional, gets a sense of the dramatic from his foster mother, his tail, scratching right behind the horns/playing with his hair

Other:
Lance is a Qestir Au Ra (from FFXIV Online lore) who are a tribe of mute people who do not speak because they believe that all spoken words are lies. Lance was separated from his tribe at a young age, and being w mute parents cost him the ability to speak comfortably so he doesn't. Also he's a p good looking dude he just won't accept it because he can't wrap his head around someone being attracted to him.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION

Given the nature of his species, Damien has more than one appearance, but only two are worthy of note. The first is the one that he is seen most often in; his human form. His human form resembles that of any normal human boy his age. He stands at 6'1'' and has an athletic build that denotes the fact that Damien stays in relatively good shape. He has sharp features and an angular, mostly symmetrical face. Angular eyes allude to this form having some sort of Asian descent. His skin, no matter how long he stays outdoors and in the sun, always has an extremely pale complexion. His eyes are dark brown and his hair is a mop of pitch black.

Most of Damien's outfits can be likened to what somebody else his age would wear, though there are a few standouts that allude to his artistic and creative nature. One of his favorite outfit compositions, and the one that you'd likely see the most of consists of a simple solid-colored t-shirt and various oversized jackets with designs that he created. This outfit also consists of baggy blue jeans with the ankles rolled up to his shins and simple black sneakers.

Damien's other notable appearance is his demon form. It shares a lot of basic aspects with his human form such as height, weight, facial structure, and build. It does, however, differ vastly in the specifics. He begins to tote ice blue horns at least a foot in length. His brown eyes drain into an extremely light blue and his jet black hair fades to stark white. The most notable feature he gains in this form is likely the glowing blue markings that he gains on his face, neck, and chest.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personality: (Also at least a paragraph) Damien likes to think of himself as a rather simple guy. He likes all forms of art, written, visual, or auditory, and enjoys time to himself above all else. He's very creative and that shows in the activities he likes to do in his free time as well as his prowess in the more artistic classes. His creativity also serves a more practical purpose in that he often uses it solve problems presented to him.

He's quite independent and self-motivated, driving himself to get good grades and to achieve his goals. While he enjoys his alone time, Damien also likes to help people, combining the two led him to becoming an RA, where he could help his fellow students but at the same time would be afforded the opportunity to have some space for himself away from them. His desire to help also makes him a good mediator for arguments, along with his level-head and ability to analyze both sides of practically anything.

Damien is a bit of a perfectionist, however, and doesn't take too well to criticism. He responds differently to all kinds of criticism, though criticism of his art is the type that he has the hardest time responding to. There have been many times when somebody criticized a piece he's made and the next day that piece would turn up missing, never to be seen again. One of the biggest reasons Damien is the way he is that he doesn't want to be thought of as "that demon boy." He knows the negative connotations associated with what he is, and he hates them, and as such he wants to do everything he can to deviate from them. That said, though, he is a demon, and it shows the most when he loses control. He will become extremely angry and often violent and he can be extremely hard to calm when he reaches this states.

History: (Still a paragraph) Damien was not born of love. In fact, his introduction to this world was quite violent and comes as no surprise when you consider who he is. Damien was born when his "mother" was unwittingly possessed by another demon. This demon wreaked havoc on his mother's life, causing such distress and committing violence against his mother that she nearly died. Unknown to both her and the demon that possessed her, the bonding of their spirits resulted in a pregnancy, that pregnancy resulted in the birth of Damien.

After his birth, the demon the had possessed his mother had vanished, though nobody really knew where it went. For years Damien had been treated like garbage, and his "mother" had actually actively tried to kill him, though she was unsuccessful in every endeavor to do so. It wasn't until he reached the age of 5 that his mother had started to accept that he wasn't going to go anywhere and that he was also a product of her. Perhaps a flip switched in her, because after that she started to treat him as though he was an angel. He was only a child and as such was just glad to finally have been loved. Throughout his formative years he had issues controlling the abilities that he had been born with.

This didn't become a real issue until he was about 13. He had been at a park, unwittingly under the guise of his human form, which was the only reason his mother had allowed him to go. He was playing tag with two other children when suddenly his form switched at the drop of a dime. This caused the other children to scream and run faster from him, though because he was unaware of what had happened he thought that they were still playing and continued to chase them. He caught one and without meaning to froze her. Horrified, his mother had grabbed him and bolted. It wasn't until later that they found out that the little had died of hypothermia as they weren't able to unfreeze her and get her to a hospital quick enough.

Soon after his mother received a letter inviting him to the academy, where he would learn to control his abilities while receiving a world-class education at the same time. She accepted and he soon began attending the academy. He still keeps in contact with his mother now, writing to her often.

Appearance: Boyish, youthful and bright, Lucian stands at roughly 5’6” and has a thin frame, making him not exactly the most menacing person to be around. He has light blonde hair and golden-brown eyes that glisten of honey gold when exposed to the sun.

In an odd mix of formality and frailty, Lucian will likely strike most people as a tad timid or cat-like. While his proper posture and often neutral expressions might not necessarily hint at any shyness, his overall appearance and soft means of interaction are likely to give it away.

Personality: Respectful and kind but rather shy and timid, Lucian is an altruistic and practical person who does a good job at enveloping the better sides of his race’s stereotypes.

It likely goes without saying that Lucian is a rather introverted person. While he would happily listen to someone else rambling and can easily maintain a proper conversation with someone he’s close to, Lucian generally isn’t very comfortable with talking about his personal matters. He also feels most comfortable in smaller gatherings, as larger groups of people tend to make him feel a tad overwhelmed.

Being shy and a tad withholding has caused Lucian to struggle with connecting with strangers, but he has been slowly but surely getting better at talking to others. Although discomfort will likely fill his mind, it wouldn’t be unheard of him to go talk to someone. Just know that this is likely his last resort, however.

Possibly at the hands of some of his other traits, Lucian tends to be a bit of a habitual person that doesn’t often leave his comfort zone. He likes order, serenity and planning above all, so he can be rather rigid and fail to adapt to a change of scenery. In opposition to that, his actual beliefs can be quite easily swayed and Lucian’s opinion tends to be a very quiet one at best in most scenarios.

Lucian’s true virtues lie at his virtuous, humble nature and his willingness to help others. Call it fate or a good childhood, he is very nurturing to others and wants to make sure that everyone is okay. While he’s not exactly the one that has the confidence to give someone a good smack in the face when they’ve hurt you, he will make sure that you’ll be safe.

One way that Lucian has surprisingly found a safe way of self-expression, is dance. Although he doesn't wish to pursue it as an actual occupation, it acts as a huge stress reliever for him and is the basis for quite a few of his social contacts at school.

History: The product of a rather, well, unusual relationship, Lucian Blight was brought into the world by a Seraphim father and Human mother. In a perfect world, the two would’ve worked together to raise him and live happily ever after, but it didn’t go as smoothly.

Despite the ‘divine’ status of Seraphim, Lucian’s father wasn’t exactly waiting on family life, nor was the relationship between him and Lucian’s mother all that holy either. They grew apart quite quickly and, before Lucian could even garner the ability to create memories about him, his father left the two behind to fend for their own.

Having been raised solely by his mother and her family for several years, Lucian grew up believing that he was no more than a simple ordinary human. There had yet to be any instances of the supernatural, so his mother had just gone ahead and assumed that he’d been lucky enough to get to live a normal life. This, however, would, unfortunately, change when, at the age of 10, Lucian sprouted a pair of wings that would forever change his life.

After having been finally told the truth about his origins, Lucian’s view of the world changed for the worse. His ability was something that many kids likely dreamt of, but having it become reality was a whole other thing that happily flying around in one’s dreams. The whole occurrence sent Lucian into a state of seclusion, afraid that his secret would be uncovered to the world.

A few months later, Lucian managed to somewhat get his life back on the go after having garnered some control over his ‘additions’, but it still left him and his mother with an inherent fear of accidental exposal. Lucian remained very cautious as a result, and even more so when two more ‘gifts’ came looking around the corner.

Despite having managed to live a semi-normal life thanks to having learned to withhold his abilities, Lucian, unfortunately, wasn’t without slip-ups and, by the time he grew a bit older, had a few odd rumours flying around him. These mainly came from some minor instances in which Lucian’s mere presence had accidentally closed something as tiny as a paper cut or tiny bruise, but still large enough to leave people confused.

Luckily for him, a very special letter came just in time to make sure the rumours would not grow into more than just that, and Lucian was on his way to Mt. Fukurou Academy for the Gifted.

Abilities:
  • Seraphim physiology: Being a Seraphim, Lucian has the ability to manifest two large feathery white wings that he can use to theoretically fly with.
  • Vitakinesis: The ability to ‘hasten’ or initiate the healing process, allowing him to ‘cure’ physical wounds. This ability is generally limited to small surface wounds or smaller ailments. While an experienced Seraphim could likely heal another person swiftly and in more detail, Lucian’s abilities are definitely not as developed and it will be (near) impossible for him to aid anyone with something bigger than a moderate cut.
  • Photokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate light. Lucian’s control doesn’t really exceed anything further than firing off a blinding light or doing a neat little party trick with colour.

Race Description: The Seraphim, often depicted in history as powers of the divine and supposed servants of God, are a race of winged humanoid creatures with an innate link to light and healing abilities. While their appearance and actions may seem divine, the true origin of Seraphim is as mysterious as that of human beings. One thing is for sure, though, for they can be just as flawed as any other and don't have any conscious links to a higher power.

One distinct feature about the Seraphim is their wings. As a Seraphim grows older, more wings will manifest, which is often taken as a sign of power and intellect.

Given Lucian is only partly Seraphim, it is possible that he will not go through the same exact developments as a full Seraphim would, but it is still unclear how his path of development will look in the future.

Appearance: With skin dark like the night sky, dotted with white freckles resembling stars, and long, white hair, Io is a bit different upon a closer look. She has pale eyes and dark, thick eyebrows. She stands around 5’3 tall, wearing loose shirts/shorts, dresses, shawls, that sort of thing.

Personality: Io is a bit of an oddball, seeming ever so slightly detached from reality. Innocent and naive, she also has a tendency towards moon logic. While she’s a bit strange, she’s still a people pleaser and wants to help people feel happy and peaceful. When she loses control of her emotions, it becomes harder for her to see outside of what she’s feeling, only able to think about her pain, anger, or whatever else she’s feeling.

History: Once, long ago, the light of many moons reached down and blessed a small, small group of humans. Every three generations, these families perform a sort of ritual to reconnect with the moons and as a reminder of their heritage. As with every generation, the connection to the moon weakens and they grow more human, they only allow up to three generations before reconnecting and regaining their powers.

Io is the first generation born after the re connection, making her connection to her family’s associated moon the most potent. Because of this, she sees the family’s associated moon, Hydra, as a parental figure of sorts. She was kept fairly sheltered as the youngest of the generation, her family wanting to keep her safe at all costs.

Her family learned of Mt Fukurou’s safe space for an outsider like Io, and sent her there to help her learn to control her powers better.

Abilities: Hydrokinesis - Since the real moon has a strong effect on the tides, it gives Io her own amount of manipulation over liquids.
Light Manipulation - Io draws from the light of the moon, able to make herself glow, brighten or dim lights, things like that.
Pathokinesis/Empath (Emotion powers) - The moon is said to affect us spiritually and emotionally, thus, Io can radiate her own emotions to others, or feel what others are like an empath.

Strengths: While it is night time, Io gains more control over her emotions and powers, almost never losing control as opposed to being in the sun.

With her emotion powers, it has helped Io connect with people and understand their struggles, understanding them on a level most people cannot.

While she isn’t physically strong, she makes up for it through excelling in academics. She’s no prodigy, but she’s certainly proficient.

Due to Io’s more innocent worldview, she’s almost always positive. Even in bleak situations, she’ll keep a smile on her face and an optimistic outlook on the situation.

Weaknesses: She becomes much more weak in the sun (physically, mentally, and emotionally), due to her direct connection to the moon becoming weakened. She loses control of her emotions, becoming more easily upset, as well as physically weakening and feeling tired.

Despite feeling more healthy and active at night, Io is still not an active person. Physical things are difficult for her regardless, with low stamina and strength.

Her powers are directly affected by her emotions. While she’s more powerful when her emotions are strong, the more powerful she is, the less control she has. For example, if she was experiencing the loss of someone very dear to her, or felt very outraged, she could hurt someone’s vision, cause pipes to burst, or unintentionally make others feel her emotions.

Due to her sheltered home life and innocent nature, she is very easily manipulated.

Penny's large eye color looks black but actually swirls according to gas content.
Penny has two stalks that emerge from the top of her shape, that can be eyes or mouths, maybe some other things, Penny hasn't considered other options yet.
Penny has two craters on each side of her shape, like ears. They act like ears, but aren't so great at picking up words, so sometimes she can't understand anyone.

Personality:
Penny is strange, like a ghost. There one moment, *POOF*, gone the next.
Why is that? Because Penny never stops exploring, watching, or getting into something.
They applied to the Academy for who knows why except theirself and their family they rarely mentions.
Is everything about them a secret? Of course not! While quiet, if you ask them the right question and extend the branch of friendship, Penny will be there.
To be a friend, to listen and sit with you during your worst times.
Penny wants to learn and observe, so it is a challenge to get them to be a part of a social life, but studies are where they excel.
Penny likes good manners and kindness, and likes the word please.

At the opposite side, Penny is distant some days, out of orbit, impossible to find.
Shutting the world out, diving deep into a mystery to escape or by accident.

Penny is an exchange student, says Penny's from deep space, but who can believe that?

If Penny saw a flower for the first time and tried to Deconstruct, the flower would get chunked up into little cubes.
If Penny understands what the flower is made out of, from the material, down to the molecular cells, down to the genetic code, then we get "disintegration" (which is about impossible for her right now, maybe if she spent a week staring at a Pet Rock.

The more living something is, the harder it is to make it happen too. It's like a battle of the wills.
Penny and the flower have a staring contest until one of them breaks. Let's arm wrestle reality!

Reconstruction (Beholder standard magical fusion)
The inverse of Deconstruction. Rebuilding the flower could happen, but the flower wouldn't be the same, it would be dead material, and failed disintegrations or a lack of understanding of the makeup of whatever she reconstructs leads to...mixed results.
She can repair your favorite sweater, heck she can reassemble roadkill.

Memory Scan
Penny can stare at things like places, anything really solid, and remember them. If something is mobile however or shiny, oh buddy, she has T-REX vision.

Strengths:
Analytical
Sinks and float in water/floats a bit on really hot days.

Weaknesses:
Terrible Memory - Memory Scan only last long term for locations and sensations, almost everything else gets "deleted" if not checked on after 3 days at best.
Major social anxiety - Can't control powers when having a panic attack (Someone said "hi" and Penny unmade a bathroom stall).

History
Ava is an orphan, selling her soul to her Queen, Queen Elizabeth. She talks to her through her glasses and is a devil‘s helper, she likes to say. Someone Giving her practice to self defense, she’s amazing at self defense. When she requested to be human, her glasses were given to her and she can see without them. Robert (Bob, her adult friend) signed her up for this school and she’s excited for her first day.

Mercury is well built thanks to his constant training in 3 different styles of martial arts. He usually covers his body in a baggy hoodie to mask how fit he really is. He has blue eyes and dark brown hair much the same as his sister.
Emerald is always wearing headphones and baggy clothes to cover how thin she really is. She has been hospitalized for her waight a few times, but she has never really gotten sick from it. She has blue eyes and very dark brown hair to the point it can be mistaken for black hair.
Personality: (Also at least a paragraph) Mercury is always angry and doesn't really like anyone. His grades are never good thanks to attitude problems. He will always be the first to throw a punch and finish the fight as well.
Emerald is the opposite. She hardly speaks unless it is absolutely necessary and she would rather have her head burried in a book. They are both lone wolfs, but they are usually always together.
History: (Still a paragraph) The twins grew up in Washington DC with there adopted parents Sarah and James Anderson. No one knows fully where the twins came from, but both of them have the exact same birthmark on their right hip. It is some weird symbol that no one understands. The two transferred over to the new school as Mercury had taken put the whole football team.
Abilities: (Up to three) Both Emerald and Mercury are demi gods. They are harder to kill, but it's not impossible.
Mercury is trained in 3 different styles of martial and has very heightened sence. (Spidie Sences haha)
Emerald has always been able to read minds and control them. She doesn't know how to block it out yet and that is why she always wears headphones.

Mercury: If separated from his sister for too long he will become fully mortal and loose all powers and strength. His temper can often get in the way of his right judgment. If he is killed without his sister around the two of them will both die. Merc also can't handle too much stimulation. If there are too many smells or sounds he can become disoriented.
Emerald will become fully mortal and loose all powers if separated from her brother for too long.
She is not yet sure how to control her powers and has only ever used them once by accident. She is also quite physically weak thanks to her eating disorder.
If she dies after loosing all her abilities and demi god likenesses. Her brother will also die.
She also has to be able to be in the same room as the person she can control and read minds off. If she cannot see them, she cannot read them.
Other: Look out for the Gamine Twins.

Standing at a small 5'5, Nana appears to be a anthropomorphic rabbit with soft pastel yellow and orange fur. Her form is often thought to be cartoony, standing with light shading that creates a illusion that she is two dimensional, personified by a bright red bow-tie. This illusion dissipates on closer inspection as definition and detail makes itself clear, with fur standing in tall fluffs on top of her head in between her ears. Her eyes are crystal blue with traces of green. Black lines in her fur run from the corners of his eyes down her cheeks, and up her forehead to hive a false cyber look. Her posture is always straight, arms behind her back, and smiling. Her rabbit features are prominent with long floppy ears and a pink button nose. Her voice isn't very high pitched but very sonorous and soft.

Personality:
Nana is a kind and free spirited individual. A campaigner who always has ideas and creativity to spare, however as trouble making them come to life. She is incredibly expressive, using her hands aggressively as she speaks, as if they had minds of their own and conveying their own stories. This doesn't mean that she is excitable about everything, however. If something doesn't peak her interest, she may doze off or doodle. Thought to be lazy to some with her tendency to nap often. Due to Altran nature, she is quite sociable and will try to squeeze into conversations or groups. To be a part of something, really.

An anarchist, getting into mischief one way or another as she explores or tinkers with things or to see people. She isnt the desperate type to care about what others think, at least not on the surface as she gets embarrassed when other people see her eat.

History: Her people, the Altra, live deep underground in massive networks of bunkers and tunnels. Being the curious one that Nana is, she escaped it all, coming to the surface in Egypt. She walked the jungles and found a strange humanoid machine who was on a transcendentalist quest, to experience higher power in nature. Moss was tucked away in his plating and hands. Nana approached the being and introduced herself to it. It introduced itself back as a Carmina. It had no name so she found it her duty to bestow a facet of creativity. "Tin-Tin" She said while smiling, her small tail wagging on her behind. She was only eleven then and followed it everywhere. It was then that the machine felt that she should have a proper education, and sent her to a school for gifted children as by advertisement, while hiding out in a warehouse.

Abilities: All Altra are capable of shape shifting, changing their forms to their will. Shes able to manipulate her mites into forming bonds to create steel like hardness or pillow softness.

Strengths: Nana is incredibly flexible and athletic. Due to her people being formally located near the center of the earth, she is highly resistant to heat and can even bathe in magma.

Weaknesses: With her shape shifting comes with it a weakness of her mites. Extremely low temperatures will freeze her, her mites coming to a crystallized fragile pattern. Any attempts to shape shift or move will result in shattering, her form breaking down like ice. Around -30 is her lowest point till freezing. Temperatures of 40 will cause her to become stiff and less flexible with trouble moving the joints. Her flexibility and athletics is offset by her clumsiness, tripping over air at times. Her last weakness is that whenever she goes under intense emotional stress, her physical form will break down, seemingly melting like ice cream and will run for somewhere warm. She is afraid of deep bodies of water as her density will make her sink instantly.

Other: She is quite gluttonous and will joke about eating eating others, as awkward or dry as it is. Her smile is wide and full of sharp teeth, buck teeth squeezed between them. Please dont make fun of her.

mo is a small forest spirit, standing at about 5 feet. she has
a lithe, curveless body covered in an inch of thick brown fur,
with distinctive mask and eyebrow-esque markings on her face.
her wardrobe does no favors in helping her blend in with her peers,
consisting of intricately designed yukatas and geta shoes,
reflecting her origins in old japan. she has short, more human
hair on her head, reaching her shoulders, the same color as her
fur. her animalistic face can't portray too much emotion, so she's
not the most expressive. she walks and stands a bit like a toddler,
clumsy with heavy feet, being previously without legs.

objective at every moment is to learn as much as she can about
humans and their culture. she’s incredibly curious and asks endless
questions, sometimes simply because she wants to hear people talk;
everything is new to her and she loves picking up new things and
inspecting them. she’s rather adventurous and will try anything once,
no matter the danger or taboo. she’s ready to learn at every moment
and is a fast learner at that, though she can be forgetful due to the sheer
amount of things she’s being introduced to. she’s quite adaptable due
to her acceptance of new situations. though she’s optimistic and likes
to consider the positives of every situation, she’s realistic about her
situation and doesn’t ignore it in favor of feeling better. she’s active

They're able to tell her what has happened around them, ask her for their

come in handy; when she's surrounded with plants, her mind becomes
flooded with the thoughts of the flowers and she loses the ability to focus,
like she's surrounded by hundreds of people talking with each other, multiple
calling out to her.
empathic plant manipulation:: The plants in Mo's immediate vicinity can reflect
her mood if it's strong enough. When very happy, they grow, and when she's
notably upset, they wilt and die. One unusual capability of this power happens
only when she's infuriated, resulting in brush lined in sharp thorns to grow
from the ground; if she lets her anger continue, they'll wrap themselves
around her legs, anchoring her to the ground and leaving painful puncture wounds.
wallcrawling:: Mo's ability to climb up walls nearly defines gravity; as long
as there's a hint of friction on the surface, she can affix herself to it and climb it.
however, with already bad balance and not being the most agile, she can only stay on
a wall she's climbing for a few seconds before falling over.

in july of 1446, in shizuoka, japan, a spare oak sapling was carried by the wind
to a marsh near a lake. 100 years later, a forest full of oak trees had grown,
covering acres of land. it's unclear when Morikobake was born, but in 2018,
plans to build a residential area began the demolition of the forest. Moriko
found herself separated from the tree her spirit had once inhabited, suddenly
inhabiting a corporeal form that resembled one of the native species of the
forest. she ran from the forest, frightened by the sounds of construction, and
kept going until she came across a small traditional village. the people of the
village were ecstatic and considered her a goddess; she was taken in by the
village priest, adorned in fancy clothing and fed the finest. the elders worshipped
her without question, but she began to grow restless, rarely allowed to leave
the temple for any reason. the young people in the village empathized with her
but couldn't bring her anywhere besides the village for fear of her being taken
away. once learning of mt. fukurou however, she was signed up for the school
and sent away in secret; the elders were furious, but accept that she needs an
education. she receives a lot of letters from the village people, as well as packages;
mostly food and new yukatas.

Appearance: Fiona is the kind of girl that doesn’t really care about her appearance. She has red hair that falls a little on the long side, pale skin, and a ton of freckles. She tends to wear as little makeup as she can get away with and her wardrobe tends to dark colors, and she has very deep green eyes.


Personality: For an Irish reaper/psychopomp, Fiona is a surprisingly friendly girl. She’s warm and vivacious, and loves to live big. She has a great sense of humor, and loves playing jokes. Outside of class, she can often be found reading and listening to music, though she doesn’t sing for fear of her powers getting out of control.


History: Honestly, there isn’t as much to tell as some. As far as the humans back home were considered, Fiona was the very definition of average. A couple of friends, decent but unspectacular grades, tried out for a few sports but never made the team, that sort of thing. Little did they know…


Her family was very supportive of her, and when she got the letter for the academy, encouraged her to go. She’s ready to make the best of her time here, but as she didn’t really interact with other supernaturals, she’s not quite sure what to expect.


Powers: Death Sense- just like it sounds, Fiona can sense when a nearby person’s end is rapidly approaching.


Scream of Damnation: Fiona can unleash a supernaturally powered scream. When she’s fully grown, she’ll be capable of killing with it, but right, now, all she can do is induce a headache.


Door to Beyond: As a psychopomp, Fiona actually has to deliver the souls to where they’re spending their assigned eternity, and as such, she has access to all the afterlife realms. Valhalla, Hell, the Duat… she’s been to all of them, at least briefly.


Weaknesses: Iron- as she is technically a Fae, she has a lethal allergy to iron


Curious- Fiona has a nasty tendency to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong, and sometimes, it gets bruised


Laryngitis- Fiona’s scream power wreaks hell on her throat; once she uses it, she’s effectively mute for several minutes


Other: Please keep her far away from the choir and glee club...
