Hair Colour : Mana's hair is a dark shade of black that fades out to a slightly lighter shade of black at the bottom/the tips.
Eye Colour : Mana's eyes are a washed out grey color, often seeming dull and slightly dreary. Her eyelashes are dark black and luscious.
Age of Appearance : Mana looks just about her age up close, but can be mistaken for an introverted and shy child when seen far away.
Piercings : Mana has two ear piercings, one on each ear. Both of the piercings are dark black crosses with the word, "Protect" carved in tiny lettering on each of them.

Scars : Mana has a large burn mark on the bottom right side of her neck that is concealed by her clothing. It doesn't cause pain or irritation anymore, but it is large and looks painful, which it was at the time.

Description of appearance :
Mana is 5,2 and very skinny. She has a very bony and small body structure, and this paired with her sickly pale skin often makes her look frail and sick. Her eyes are large and have very luscious eyelashes, giving her eyes a very feminine appeal, though her eyes do often time seem very dreary and dull because of the washed out grey color they are. She has a small black simple on the left side of her chin underneath her mouth, which is very noticeable at times with how pale her skin is.
Her skin often goes paler when she gets too shocked, worried, stressed, etcetera, and is often a tell when she will pass put. Since she's constantly in a very frail and sickly state, she often pales up and then passes out when she's overworked.
Her earnings are black crosses with the word, "Protect" carved in tiny lettering on each of them. She wears her earrings because she believes that they are the only form of protection she has in her line of studies and in her frail state. Her frail state is an effect of a very weak immune system, one so weak that she has to go to the hospital for something as small as a cold. However, when she started to wear the earrings, her health improved slightly, she was able to wait out small and insignificant illnesses such as colds in her house instead of the hospital. So, she wears them all the time since she believes that they protect her.
Her clothing consists of a dark black turtle neck sweater, black leggings, and black zip up boots. Her sweater is seemingly tight, it's visible to see how skinny she is when she's in it. It's also very soft and warm, something that would usually only be worn during Winter. But, because of her frail state, she wears it all the time because she gets cold even during Summer, and the cold is bad for her health. Her leggings are also seemingly skin tight, and they have the same soft and warm texture as her sweater, and they serve the same purpose as well. Her boots are lined with black fur, another thing to keep her warm. Her whole outfit was designed to keep her warm and comfortable. She also has a good pendant tucked into her shirt out of sight with a witches symbol on it. However, it is a Victorian Cabochon pendant, a good witches pendant.
Mana is often seen carrying around a book with a creepily realistic bloody eye on it. It is very large and thick, having around 7,000 pages in it. Each and every page is filled with all of her studies plus other parapsychologist's studies. Most of the studies are on the occult and witchcraft since those two subjects are the ones she finds herself studying and obsessing over the most, but there are several pages with subjects such as vampires, other mythological creatures, spells, recipes that are made with types of rare herbs, supernatural beings, and many other things.

Mana's appearance fully fits her personality. She is extremely introverted and often shy, even having a very bad stutter to back her up on those traits. Because of her stutter, she has struggle speaking, so when she does talk she often blurts things out so that she stutters less, not that it helps much. When she does speak, she won't normally swear, but when she does she trips over the words a bunch, mostly because she was raised not say them, and feels as if she's defying many people and spiritual beings by saying them.
She has a habit of chewing on her fingernails, avoiding eye contact with people, messing with her hair, hiding behind her book, and cowering behind taller people, all nervous and stressed out ticks and habits of hers. This comes from a large social block, she doesn't know how to socialize normally, and also is used to people bullying her because of the way that she acts. She normally thinks that everyone thinks badly of her until they prove otherwise, a thinking/mental habit of hers.
Mana often times creeps out other people with her strange mannerisms. She is often very wary and suspicious of people, objects, and animals, often times thinking that certain people are witches or vampires, also believing that most objects are haunted or going to be. When she believes that she's onto someone's secret of being some sort of witch, vampire, supernatural being, etcetera, she will stalk them. Not a major stalking, mostly just following them around and observing them, picking up things that they drop and throw away, things such as that. If she gets caught she immediately panics and pales up, sometimes even passing out because of the sudden panic and stress on her heart of being caught by said person whom she thinks is something that they say they're not.
Mana is, to say the least, a very superstitious person. She was born on Halloween, and on the very same night that she was born, the entire hospital was shut down because of a so called break in of people with guns. But in the end there had been no people, and the police called all of the people inside of the hospital complete lunatics, many nurses and doctors lost their jobs. When she heard of this incident she was about 5 and in bed at the same exact hospital on her birthday, sick with a cold. Up till then, she'd had an unlucky streak. She often times crossed paths with a stray black cat, which is when her day would start to go awfully. By the time she was 7, she started to become invested in the conspiracy that was her life. Why did all of these things happen? She needed to know. The kids at her school called her a lunatic, she was the kid in the back far corner in the classroom, sitting and mumbling to herself about superstitious things. A lot of kids started bullying her, and only one kid stuck up for her, a girl named Miyaki. Miyaki and Mana became close, and Miyaki was actually curious about everything that Mana was studying. But, own day when they were walking home from school, they both crossed paths with the stray black cat, and Miyaki suddenly got run over by a car being driven by a drunk man. All of these coincidences started getting harsher and harsher, Mana's life was in all fairness a living Hell, which is why she needed to know more about it. By the time she was in middle school, she was a full superstitious person, and had made a name for herself in the parapsychologist community, a community dedicated to studying the supernatural and the occult. This fame got her scouted by Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Parapsychologist, and she was able to start studying even more with this new time on her hands.
But, Mana isn't completely unaffected about her life and just curious about it. She often grieves the things that she lost, also praying to the people and things that she lost every morning and night.
She lives a very orderly life, having a schedule and all. She can be considered a bit of a neat freak, her room is always tidy to the point that it's suffocating. Mana believes if that she doesn't keep everything perfect, another incident will arise, more death or destruction to add to her conspiracy, but she doesn't want that.
She is a very kind person, but it rubs off in the wrong way, and it often takes a very observing person to notice the kindness in her words and actions. Though, sometimes she is also just irritated or angry with people, which makes up the very rare times that she yells.
