Mortal Practionar of Falling blossom style.

somthing I was just thinking about Idly.

is their a way that a Enlgightened mortal practicionar of Falling blossom style could keep to the part about "selling your life dearly"

since the style for all its power is predominantly offensive, or meant to protect another.

It doesnt allow you to use armor with it, and theirs no defensive charms in it.

Am I missing something

because with a 0 Lethal soak, the Kamikaze warriors not going to ... well hes not MEANT to survive the fight but is meant to survive long enough to fufil his destiny. (e.g. long enough to do some damage)

One great way to protect you Solar god-hero is to dive at his enemies screaming bloody murder and jam your sword into as many of their throats as possible before they cut your arms off.  While they're busy with your crazy ass, your Solar has time to escape. Or to activate his persistent defenses, shape that Sapphire Circle spell, pull off a stunt, etc.

Falling Blossom's a great idea, if you ask me.  It gives you fanatically loyal mortal death-commandos, a la Paul Muad'dib's fedaykin, who actually stand a chance of having an impact on the supernatural threats that are going to come a Solar's way.

Forgive my ignorance but where can I find this Falling Blossom? Is it a martial art? A charm? If you can just point me in the right direction, I can do the rest.

Cheers,

Falling Blossom is a Terrestrial style in the Cult of the Illuminated book.  It's centered around the concept of martyrdom.
