Vulkin wishes that this will bring the Takloree more to be commonly known and highly more respected.


Anubison wishes that with this victory he can become a worthy king and aid in a peaceful rule.


R'tas wishes to be accepted into Earth Realm as well as aid in peace between both Earth and Outer Realm.

Appearance: - Standing at about 8 1/2 feet tall, about 2 feet of that coming from his additional head design and the horns on it, his head level is about 6 1/2ft. His entire body is covered and plated in thick black, red, or white scales and under that a thickened skin/hide which add to his durabilities. He is a reptilian creature and has a snout, which has two horns, one just over his nose which is about 7 inches long and another one at his chin that is only 3 inches long. His head as various horns, be it ontop of his head or behind his jawlines, thus adding to the rough textures of his scales, he doesn't have the most appealing face to caress to say the least.


His backside has even more features, over the years horns had grown out from his back as well as bone layers. He has more horns and jagged spikes on his back that are well exposed and clear to be seen. Having two 16 inch spikes on his back aiming upwards and 2 6 inch spikes aiming downwards, he has been known to make use of this in kombat, though the result are unpleasant... for his opponent.


He also has a 5ft long tail which also as spikes grow out from it and the tip too is also a bladed tip, a tail alone would be a strong weapon with a lot of strength to strike an enemy, but that you can block, add jagged spikes its a even more deadly tool.


His legs are very strong, the structure in which they were evolved to (Or created by god (For those of you who may be offended by that term.)) allows him to leap high or sprint very quickly. Plus the strength in his legs can do out some punishment, and do to the hot sands and rough rocks of his homelands, he has no more feeling in his soles rather than feeling that he is on the ground (Standing on fire charcoal? Can do. Though his feet will be marked and burned, it's likely he won't even know.)

Background-


(To understand him you'll have to understand his species as well so I'm going to make this as short as possible, want to know more just PM me... also he's a Star Wars Species... please, don't say "He can't use the force" despite he wouldn't really be using it, and tell me why Takeda, Kenshi, Ermac, Quan Chi, Raiden, Shinnok, Tremor, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, even Johnny Cage, have mystic abilities yet it's unfit for Vulkin to wield the Force AKA Telekenisis which he rarely uses as it is... don't get me started on his lightsaber I'll point out Takeda on that...)


So, where to being? Vulkin is a member of the Takloree Species. A reptilian race that strives in the harsh and brutal climates on the edges of the OuterRealm. Takloree are known for their mastery skills in survival and brilliant tactics. Despite they're a species mostly in poverty and most die at young ages due to their homelands, few survive but those that do become talented hunters and marksmen, soldiers fit for combat and show excellency in performance.


Though they are not barbaric, just do not come to their home and say they're filthy beggars or say you're higher than them because your race has money, reassuring they will do more than rip you in half, they're a species not to piss off. What they lack in numbers are regained in skill. But they are not overly aggressive, they don't much welcome outsiders so if you enter a Takloree tribe or village expect to have a lot of unwelcoming looks and lack of interest for business, unless you're going to their Warlord (Chief, Leader) who may be more negotiable depending on what it is you have come for.


As for Vulkin himself, he is a Takloree but he is what is known as a Arc Sentinel in Takloree Terms, a Takloree Sentinel is considered one gifted with supernatural abilities (Jedi), a Arc Sentinel is one who as mastered these abilities (Jedi Master), though unlike others, the Takloree do not send their Sentinel to some monastery or sacred temple to train their children in way of code and honor, actually most who gain this ability don't even know it under their child years. He was only 7 when he first began using them when he was hunting, and over the years he used them and trained himself with them, now over the years it wasn't until he was 64 he near mastered them and was 79 when he became the Arc Sentinel of the Takloree. And due to their low population, if there were to ever be a Arc sentinel there is only one around at any time, if lucky, two.


Vulkin has fought and won many battles, he is brilliant to strategy as is the rest of his people, war and victory, is in their blood. (Now for the Mortal Kombat cross over.) As of recent, he had come across a scroll when studying the arts of the former Arc Sentinels before him, he learned of their sacred amulet, the Binding of Sentinels, was given to raiden nearly 75 years ago. The Binding of Sentinels was forged hundreds of years ago, when there was a time when the Takloree had not 3, not even, four, but 5, 5 Arc Sentinels alive and together. These five united many clans and brought the Takloree to peace with each other and made their species one, and has been since then. To the Takloree they see Binding of Sentinels as humans see Jesus Christ, a very sacred and holy symbol, one that lifts hopes and pride. But how this came to Raiden, about 75 years ago after a devastating war, a Takloree Elder and two Warlord ventured far to Raiden's temple, a journey that took months, and bowed to him, begging for his aid as their species was on the very brink of extinction. One went as far as even grabbing hold of one of Raiden's ankles and praying to him, they needed help, and Raiden assured it will come for he felt sympathy for them and understood their need. In return, they gave to him the Amulet, the Binding of Sentinels, a amulet that even he has heard of and accepted it with honor. He had given them a quest to return to their homes and though it took months to return, they found their villages and tribes were indeed flourishing more so and their species was coming to return at a steady pace.


This perhaps was Raiden's doing but Vulkin, was furitated. Raiden bares their amulet? "A lowly scum of Earthrealm deemed to be a god?" He said. He didn't believe that Raiden aided them, instead the Takloree race regrew it's strength as they always have, they have been through many wars and some just a little worse then their most recent one and still made do. He first went to the Warlords who went there and challenged them, nearly beating the life from them despite how much he wanted to kill them for their acts that dishonored their species. He let the live, but he said if they did not throw them themselves into exile when he returned, he will kill them.


He gathered supplies and kissed his 3 wives and 5 children (He has had 4 wives and 18 children, the others have died and in modern dage he now only has 2 children) a farewell, saying he is leaving on a pilgrimage, which he was, but was never the full truth, for Takloree do not lie. He vowed to reclaim that amulet from Raiden, hoping he'll be there to be in his way so he doesn't just walk in and take it, he wants to teach that god a lesson as well. Though why he came to furious of Raiden, is because he believes that those gods don't care for their species and simply sheds them sympathy, which makes the Takloree look weak, he don't want their sympathy nor care for their respect.


His journey took him far to places he hasn't heard of and was rather, disgusted from. The cities of outworld were remarkably large but the civilization... made him feel sorry for the dirt it was built on. He still had a quest to perform, he traveled far and in due time, arrived at Raiden's temple on a cold night. He didn't sneak into it but instead he just walked in through the front doors and searched the temple and soon found the Amulet, disappointed he didn't come across Raiden. When he left it was raining and thunder boomed across the sky. He simply walked into the courtyard and stood waiting, for he knew what this meant and shortly after Raiden did arrive. The who spoke, Raiden knew who Vulkin was and respected that he came this far just to claim the amulet for the sacred beliefs of his people, but disapproved that why he was doing so.


Raiden took the amulet from Vulkin, teleporting it from his hand to his own, making Vulkin feel disgusted to see their sacred amulet in the bare hands of Raiden, it was only then he pulled out a small talisman, one Raiden had given to Vulkin ages ago, when Vulkin was only a child.


The story behind this was that just before Raiden aided the Takloree, he found Vulkin when he was 13, sleeping one night on a mountain with his rifle in arms. Raiden saw something in Vulkin, a greatness of a strong future and left him small talisman nearby before leaving, then gifting the entire land with rainfall that night and the next morning. Vulkin awoken when the rain began falling, he was happy and drank the fresh water as it fell, for just a light rain to Takloree is like golden coins raining from the sky for people. Rain is a blessing for the Takloree homeworld and this happened weekly for a long while and soon it changed to being more of an occurrence that happens yearly, on the month that amulet was given to him, it rains 3 times a week for 3 weeks, but the reason Raiden didn't keep this as a weekly or even a month celebration, is because he knows the Takloree needs to remain strong as they have been, but if anything, they deserve the rain, water isn't easy for them, it's they least they deserve. But as for Vulkin on that first night, when it was raining he stepped on the talisman, and when he looked down and picked it up, he did damage it, denting it lightly, but he studied the talisman and from there on, kept it.


Decades later when he encountered Raiden as a foe, he threw that talisman to Raiden's feet, Raiden was surprised that Vulkin had kept and treasured his giving that was more than 70 years old, and even brought it with him. But when Raiden looked back it was too late, Vulkin took advantage of that time and charged the god, the moment he looked to Vulkin, his face was met with Vulkin's fist, punching the god and throwing him to his back a few feet away and saying "There's my sympathy for you."


Vulkin showed a great level of hate, but strength as well. Raiden stood and shook off that punch and could only ask for Vulkin's forgiveness for what it was he was about to do. The two fought, Vulkin using his abilities to make his faster and even slightly bend the direction of Raiden's lightning strikes away from himself. the two were struck many times, Raiden was hit by the powerful physical attacks delivered by Vulkin as Vulkin was struck in very small weak points of his body by Raiden's own attacks as well as the electrocuting blasts he could form. It was when Raiden kicked Vulkin back into a charcoal pit onto his back, Vulkin rolled off of it and back to his feet with burns on his back and withdrew his saber, the red beam of light sizzling as the rain dropped to it. Raiden countered with his own staff and when they continued on their fight, Vulkin's saber couldn't cut through or even damage Raiden's staff which was made from his own powers.


The battle had last for nearly 40 minutes and it all came to an end. In the last moments of their fight Vulkin and Raiden threw aside their weapons and resumed hand-to-hand but in the very last moment Raiden managed to punch Vulkin in his throat then grab onto his head and deliver a powerful and shocking strike of lightning which nearly friend Vulkin and nearly killing him. While this happened, Vulkin managed to grab onto Raiden's wrists and with a powerful push of his own abilities a electrical explosion occurred and both were shot back and Vulkin as left steaming and still. Raiden was left standing, battered and beaten, but he barely stood as Vulkin was left near lifeless, all that Vulkin was able to o was breathe deeply as each breath was a painful wheeze, his body was very weak from both the inside and out, he would die if left in his state for under his skin and within him, his body was failing and not functioning properly. Raiden respected this from Vulkin, how far he was willing to go for his people.


Vulkin would awaken to find himself laying down... on his back, in a bed. it was the first time in ages he had woken up to see the ceiling first, his back forbid him to lay on it but with a very soft sheet he was laying on, it allowed him to. He was under blankets and his head in a pillow, these were luxuries that few had from his people, and it felt... relaxing. When he got himself out of bed he looked to see he was wearing white robes, his weapons and armor was on display on a table nearby, but on a stand just next to his bed, the talisman he always had and the amulet he had come for, was just next to it.


He studied both the amulet and talisman before he stood and got out of his robe and put his original wear back on and after a moment to himself, he left the room and both the talisman and amulet behind. Before he could leave the temple, Raiden made his presence know, asking him if he intended to leave without having a meal or drink. Vulkin wanted neither, he only sought to leave, but Raiden spoke to him, saying that Vulkin wielded such great courage and honor for his people, what he was willing to do for them. His skill in combat is great, his heart lies true to aid his people, but there is more he can become. He even compared him to Kung Lao and Lui Kang, his two fallen friends he beloved as sons.


This caught Vulkin's attention, he thought about it and turned to face him, only to mutter, "Rare meat, no chop sticks." And so the two then found themselves sitting at a low table, Raiden serving Vulkin a hot cup of tea as Vulkin had a dish before him and two small bowls of mixture, one being a green paste he was unaware of. And feeling insulted that within his fingers he was using chopsticks, Raiden taught him how to use them in a matter of minutes while Vulkin awaited his meal. Vulkin was always a quick learner, he adapted quickly for a Takloree it was learn fast or die. And he was also very unfamiliar with his dish and this way he had to eat. To eat slowly take small bites, eat small bits at a time using chop sticks, and be very clean... to him this was something he saw would be in hell, and saw he better start getting use to this in this case. Even when he was eating Raiden offered him to try the other sides that were offered to him, unaware of how to try them he picked up the small bowl that had the green paste Raiden warning him it was Wasabi, though Vulkin didn't know what that was, and he lifted the bowl to his lips and simply took it as it was and swallowed down in one gulp. He froze for a moment and shivered, tingled even before clicking his lips and complementing it was a fine sauce, that it packed a punch and was rather bitter. Raiden said no comment to that before he just stirred Vulkin's tea before serving it to him. (# Wasabi - if you got this far.)


Though it was after the meal, despite Vulkin only had maybe just a mouthful of food and thought that was simply a appetizer, but was disappointed to learn it was main course, but still, his respects to Raiden were kept. Raiden then asked why Vulkin was going to leave without neither the talisman he's kept for so long or the Amulet he has long traveled and even fought to return, but the response was simple. Vulkin claimed he didn't earn to return the Amulet as well as he he does not deserve Raiden's Talisman. There was a talk of sorrow words, Vulkin was down in his mind and heart now, he had traveled all this way and lost, he made threats in his home that now he cannot return to because of this defeat, and he is now lost on what to do. But not all was lost, Raiden gave him guidance, to do what any other should do, return home, rejoice with his family. Though, al Vulkin can say, is that it is not so easy. What had happened, the fight between them, his defeat was a dishonor to himself, but Raiden still spoke words of encouragement, that he understands the reasons why Vulkin had arrived, he knew of his intentions and the risks of challenging him. It was a very long talk.


Things were settled in the end, Vulkin will plan out what will be done from here, his path will be his own, leaving behind both the talisman he carried for over 70 years, and the amulet he came to retrieve, but Raiden did offer if he needs guidance, his temple will always be open.


Thus Vulkin had left and made his way back to outworld, though upon his arrival, it was a raining night. He climbed the nearest tallest mountain and stood at its peak, overlooking the land and to the dark skies above, and when he had raised his hand, he can see the power that flowed around him, the ability of lightning, is his new path.


--- Okay so this concludes his legacy, also, about 6 years later Shinnok arrives again from Quan Chi so you have an idea that during MKX he is about 93. I also forgot to mention, Takloree live to be 380 years old so Vulkin is still young. Asides from all that howdy hey, this is Vulkin's Legacy in Mortal Kombat, well, mostly there is still more. But um... remember how I said I'd make it as short as possible? Yah, you're looking at, okay okay, I know I know I could of made it shorter but this is the short version of his legacy, I repeat, the short version. Want to know the long version? Additional Information: The amulet on his chest is a Arua Stone, allowing him to be protected from several magical attacks.


Bio: Born and raised in a rich family with wealth at his side, he lives with a dark secret. His father was a tyrant. He was the 3rd eldest son and in his traditions he cannot be named king unless he is the eldest, and his oldest brother, is even more of a selfish ruler than his father. The people will come to be under yet another bloody tyrant if he doesn't do something to end this bloody rain. He spent most of his time training, fighting, telling his father he wanted to become the best general in all out out world when in reality, he was preparing for the siege of his home, if this tyranny didn't end. He fought and trained hard, coming to best his challengers in bare combat or in a dual of weapons.


It was when people were beginning to uproar and revolution nearly begining, he began to pray endlessly for guidance but soon enough, his prayers were answered with the Tournament, seeing if he can beat it, the rulership will be his and the tyranny will end when he is crowned king. He set out on pilgrimage, never speaking of the Tournament and his father would discover of it, but not after Anubison had left 4 days in advance. On his way there he encountered a Takloree, one who had similar methods as he did, but could not enter the realm unless he had two followers, but now, they only needed one more. And with what luck, they found that final one at the gates, R'tas.Now they are ready to take on the Tournament.

Race: Outworlder - Avinarian


Weapons/Abilities: Wielding no weapons, rather he is mage and can bend Solar Light and conjure avians.


Additional Information: He can conjure his wings so they are not always on him.


Bio: Born as a outworlder, he became so much more. His father was of royal blood but was killed long ago in ways R'tas does not remember. His mother fled and using what her husband gave to her she took her son somewhere where he will become the key to peace, to Raiden's Temple. Leaving him at the doorstep before fleeing, a monk picked up the young Avinarian baby, with only a letter stating his name and a golden amulet he now wears on carries and can be seen at his chest, attached to his cloak. It was there he trained with the monks, a Outworlder learning to be a warrior of peace and to be a Earth Realmer. He learned well and his gifted abilities allowed him to be more. He became a warrior of the moon.


He didn't see much combat asides from training but when he left his temple. He traveled Outworld mostly, he wouldn't of been so friendly welcomed in Earth Realm due to his appearance, but in Out World he found many challange. It was when he learned of this new kombat tournament he traveled there and at the main gates he met two travels, Anubison and Vulkin, and seeing their cause was to equal the forces in Out World, in hopes of Equality among the outer states, R'tas join this for he saw this is a cause he can fight for.
