New Houston

A massive sprawling mega city located on the gulf coast in louisiana that continues to grow. This city was created in 2019 after the biggest tsunami in recorded history slammed into the east coast causeing severe displacement of the people. The city was hastily constructed so it tends to look a bit less regal than other cities. After the US China war of 2021 the city opened its borders to the refugees from the broken nation of China whom lost the war. The Us faced extreme financial crisis in the years following the war. But industry and the rise in global disasters turned New Houston into a giant refugee city whose personal economy helped bring the nation from the brink and restore its status as a superpower. The city is divided into several districts.
1 is downtown
2 is the suberbs
3 the Housing (the trap or the slums)
4 the warehouse district
5 the docks
6 the lake
7 New China town
8 The outskirts
9 the Legal district.

The Bank

A group of rich and powerful individuals who make up almost 80% of the nations wealth. These people have more money and influence than anyone. They have been in new houston since its beginning and are the driving force behind its expansion. They own many legitimate buisnesses but a large fraction of their wealth comes from the criminal element which pays them to keep the cops in theor pockets off of their back. The most dangerous aspect of the bank is that law enforcement, lawyers, doctors, mayors, and almost everyone owes them money, they also grant loans for the criminal entrepreneurs. In World where money is power, these guys are walking nukes.

The Shadow- they came to New Houston after the US china war displaced their base of operations there. A loan from the Bank started them off and since then they have trained hundreds of professional killers and stealthy warriors. Like the ninjas of old they train in martial weapons, yet they are not ignorant to the ways of today, they are trained with firearms and explosives as well. They are more feared than the bank, but a considerably smaller group only accepting those who survive their fierce training regiment. If the shadow falls upon you death is not far behind.

The Argossi family- A mob style group of tough men and woman who came from italy, they are well known customers of the banks protection and use old school mob tactics combined with a modern technological advantage. They are masters of intimidation and pack alot of heavy guns. They are a bit unfriendly towards the other gangs, with the exception of the bank. Them and the shadow are long standing rivals.​
