Heyoooooo. I'm Amanda/Mandy/Whatever else you want to call me. I'm a fairly experienced Role Player, with cravings for sometimes Sci-Fi (Like The 100), or just some simple SOL RP with all of the drama you can take. My interests are pretty scattered and I'm willing to do almost anything. I'm looking for quite a wide array of things as of now!
~All the rules and things~
1. I expect one paragraph, if not more, and my length tends to reflect that of my partners. If the posts are not long enough, I will tell you so. I put effort into my posts/CS's and I expect for my effort to be matched.
2. I have a life outside of the internet and while I am on frequently, I may not reply because I want the post to be well written and I am often on my phone. If I don't reply for a few days, shoot me a message and I'll get back to you.
3. SEND ME A MESSAGE!!!! Like I said above, I forget. Very easily. My memory is that of a gnat's.
4. I like fluff, okay? Call me whatever you want for that but occasionally I just want a moment of relaxation in the RP where people aren't going bat-shit crazy and what not.
5. I reply very fast when I'm bored/bed ridden/whatever else and I am very impatient so I might bug you, but it'll be in giving you harmless little things and sayings!
6. I have a potty mouth and I am not ashamed of it. If you are uncomfortable with me swearing in OOC, and with a character, depending on who that character is, then please do not contact me.
7. I only use PMS. Sorry, for the all the forum lovers out there!
8. I have no limits and it'd be best if you didn't either! (I refuse to do Zombie x Human. Don't even ask.)
9. Established relationships are fine as long as the plot keeps it interesting.
10. I only use OC's, even if the RP is based on a Fandom.
11. Be literate. I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be, but try your best.
12. I need romance at least to some degree.
13. Be at least seventeen years of age.
14. I prefer to play the female, but I am very experienced with the male character. I also double.
I swear I'm not ignoring you. I'm just really busy as of late.
Most of the plots from here, I am willing to do. Just PM/respond and I'll get back to ya!
However, I do have favorites and I'll list them here
It’s moving day for Muse A and Muse B, best friends since primary school who’ve finally saved up enough to rent their own apartment in a nice part of the city. Fully embracing their independence, the excited pair decide to move their stuff without the assistance of a professional moving company. The roomies’ plans go awry when their couch gets lodged in the apartment doorway, blocking entrance into their box-cluttered place and access to the other side of the hall. Muse A and Muse B try every trick up their sleeve to get the couch to budge, but they’re not successful. Muse Cand Muse D, renters on the other side of the hall, encounter their struggling neighbors at the top of the steps (and the hunk of furniture obstructing their path).Muse C and Muse D offer assistance and eventually manage to get the couch into the apartment.
Grateful, Muse A and Muse B invite their friendly neighbors over. Muse A and Muse C are flirtatious from the get-go, while Muse B and Muse D can’t help but roll their eyes at their respective roommates. Muse A and Muse C rush into a fling based on their physical attraction to one another, but they end up having terrible chemistry once the deed is done. It’s very awkward and sometimes even tense between them when they bump into the other in the hall. Muse B and Muse D,however, develop a genuine liking for one another that seems like it might turn into something more over time. In the meantime, they take great pleasure in forcing their discordant roommates together every chance they get.
Muse A and Muse B are soulmates. They’ve grown up in the same city all of their lives and despite crossing paths several times, they have not met one another; they’ve continuously missed the other by a matter of seconds every time. One fateful morning, Muse A and Muse B happen to arrive in one another’s vicinity. Muse A spots Muse B from across the street just as Muse B is entering into the path of a speeding vehicle. Without thinking, Muse A rushes across the street and takes the brunt of the oncoming car to save Muse B’s life. Muse B is badly shaken from witnessing the accident and gets ushered away from Muse A before they can see the other’s face. Tragically, Muse A passes away while Muse B is being questioned by police. One week later, Muse B attends Muse A’s funeral to pay respects after learning their savior’s identity through the police report. When Muse B is about to leave the cemetery, they encounter someone who feels eerily familiar, though Muse B’s never seen them before. Muse A isn’t sure how it’s possible still, but they’re certain that they’ve been sent back to look after Muse B until Muse B draws their last breath. Muse A does their best to explain this to Muse B, who seems to be the only one who can hear or see them and their angelic set of wings.
Muse A is in a committed relationship. Muse A loves their significant other dearly, but in the last couple of months, their spark has definitely fizzled out. Uncertain that they will find what they’re looking for if they break things off with their partner,Muse A tries their best to subtly improve the intimacy in their relationship; unfortunately, their partner sees nothing wrong with the conventional way they do things, so nothing changes. One night, Muse A’s significant other makes plans with an old friend from school–a double date for dinner. Muse B knew Muse A’s lover in high school; they were close friends until one of them moved across the country for college. The couples meet at a fancy restaurant and the old friends catch up over drinks and appetizers. The whole while, Muse A can’t help but notice that their lover’s old friend is making eyes at them across the table. Thrilled by the idea that another person finds them desirable, when their own partner hardly seems to anymore, Muse A makes a bold move–sliding their foot against Muse B’s leg beneath the table. The seductive act is received by Muse B with a subtle smirk and a light nod of approval. By the time entrees are served, Muse A and Muse B manage to slip out of the restaurant for a quick encounter. They make their way back to the table and act as normally as possible, adrenaline pumping through their veins over the bad thing they’ve done and can’t wait to do again. Plans are eagerly made for another dinner date while Muse A and Muse B are already thinking of how they can raise the stakes.
It’s the year 3015. Aerospace engineering has advanced by leaps and bounds. In this age, the average citizen can board a luxury spacecraft and venture out to see the sights of the solar system (A trip that would’ve taken roughly 11 years by 21stcentury standards now only takes 3 days and a few hours to complete!) It’s still an experimental program and tickets are quite expensive, but for those who couldn’t possibly afford the once-in-a-lifetime trip on their own, there is a lottery draw. Muse A and Muse B have been selected through the lottery drawing this year.
While on the second day of the tour, a radio transmission is sent from Earth, warning that a huge asteroid is headed directly for the planet; this could spell disaster for the world as Muse A and Muse B know it. Everyone waits on pins and needles to hear news. Just before the asteroid is set to make impact, the spacecraft loses connection with Earth and everyone aboard assumes the worst has happened. Though strangers before the ship left Earth, Muse A and Muse B turn to one another for comfort. As far as they’re aware, everyone they’ve ever known on Earth has been lost. With no motivation to continue the trip and potentially no home planet to return to, the captain and crew must turn their efforts to finding a habitable planet to relocate to or at the very least making contact with intelligent life who might assist them before their limited resources (including oxygen) run out.
Optional:
a) Contact is made with hospitable aliens. OR Contact is made with hostile aliens. b) A habitable planet is found and the passengers must colonize. OR The passengers must co-habitate with the lifeforms that already inhabit the planet. c) Earth has only been partially destroyed. d) Could be a group plot.
Although in different majors, Muse A and Muse B met in August in the campus lounge and the attraction was instant and passionate, the two immediately hitting it off. They’ve been seeing each other when time allows during the fall and spring semesters, but their heavy course loads and conflicting schedules have made it unfortunately difficult to do so. Even in spite of their dedication and desire to be together, this has created an immense strain on the pair. Muse A and Muse B have decided together to come up with a plan intended to strengthen their relationship, and instead of returning to their respective homes, they choose to spend the summer driving across the country together. It sounds like the perfect way to reconnect and dissolve some of the tension and frustration that has built up during the semesters. They map out their route and agree to share driving and navigation duties. The first destination is a place that Muse A has always wanted to visit and the second destination is a place Muse B always wanted to visit, including many stops both think could be interesting along the way. The weeks together are truly a test of their patience, suddenly learning about each other’s previously unknown quirks and habits, but it also provides the two the opportunity to bond in a manner they simply couldn’t make the time for during the semester. Will Muse A and Muse B come out of the road trip inseparable, or will the close quarters tear them apart?

Muse A has been studying abroad for their last semester of college and it’s finally the second to last day before everyone flies back home for graduation. Muse Ameets up with a group of classmates for drinks before everyone must pack up and return to the states. While out at a bar/party, Muse A encounters Muse B, a charming local. Muse A and Muse B feel an instant chemistry between them. They talk for hours, even long after the rest of Muse A’s classmates have moved on to another location. Though Muse A is leaving in 24 hours, Muse B promises to showMuse A a time they will never forget if they spend the following day with them. Thinking it might be exhilarating to soak in the foreign city with an attractive native,Muse A agrees to spend the entire day with Muse B before they have to depart. The next day, Muse B is true to their word and shows Muse A an amazing time. Feelings blossom quickly. When the sun sets, neither one wants to part from the other, so they spend the night together too, eventually falling asleep in each other’s arms. On the morning of Muse A’s flight home, Muse A realizes that they’re not ready to leave yet. Despite the inevitable backlash they’ll face from their parents for blowing off graduation and the possibility that the spark between Muse A and Muse B will fizzle over time, Muse A purposely miss their flight to take a chance on a summer romance with Muse B.
Muse A frequents a coffee shop every day after school/work, Muse B works as a barista there. Muse A always sits at the same table by the window, in plain-sight of the counter, preoccupied with a book or their laptop. Muse B can’t help but notice Muse A and admire them from afar. Too shy to go up and talk to Muse A at their table, Muse B finds another way to make an impression. Muse B begins to write nice messages on Muse A’s coffee cups, gradually getting a little bolder each day. “Have a nice night.” “That must be a good book.” “You look nice today.” “You have a cute smile.” Usually, by the time Muse A notices these little notes, Muse B has switched shifts with someone else. One afternoon, Muse A comes in and orders their usual from Muse B. When the order is ready, Muse A makes sure to read the note right away. This time, the message reads: “Would you like to go out with me?"
At your ten year high school reunion, you come across many old friends. Maybe even a long lost love? Muse A is living a hum drum life working the nine to five, whilemuse B has spent their years traveling the world. The two were close in high school, but lost touch shortly after graduation. Muse B spent most of their time thinking about muse A, wishing they were by their side. What’s to happen when the two meet again?"]
Muse A has recently moved into a new place - a cozy apartment in a 6-story apartment building. Muse B lives across the hall and has resided in the building for the past 2 years. Apart from a few casual conversations on the walk up to their floor or brief meetings at the mailbox, Muse A and Muse B haven’t gotten the chance to get to know each other. Muse A definitely wants to see more of their neighbor though. Muse B is kind, funny, and sexy in Muse A’s eyes; Muse B’s just not very good at hinting whether or not they’re attracted to Muse A back. When the power goes out throughout the building, on a particularly warm night, Muse A quickly sets out some candles to light their home, but they realize that they don’t have any matches to light them (and their stove only works on electrical power). Seeing a bit of an opportunity there, Muse A heads over to Muse B’s apartment and asks for assistance.
muse a and muse b are high school sweethearts who eventually break it off and go separate ways. muse a moves to another town/state/area, meets someone, gets married, and has a kid. but due to unfortunate circumstances, muse a’s spouse passes away. muse a moves back home with their child to try and start over in their hometown and runs into muse b who is still single and working and just trying to live. they reconnect, muse b meets muse a’s child, and starts hanging out with the two of them, slowly easing muse a and muse b back into feelings for each other.
Muse A lives in an abusive environment. For years, Muse A has kept what goes on behind closed doors a secret, for fear of what their abuser might do if anyone found out. One night, the chaos and the fear become too much to bear alone any more. When there’s an opportunity, Muse A escapes with no plan of returning. Muse A runs straight to Muse B (their best friend or former flame) and confesses everything that’s been taking place, begging to stay with them until they can figure out what to do next. Muse B promises to keep Muse A safe no matter what, and that they’ll figure out what to do in the morning. Relieved and grateful for Muse B’s comforting, Muse A spontaneously kisses Muse B. Though surprised, Muse B doesn’t pull away.
