Dear Yo,


I am writing to inform you of recent developments during my time in Hare lands. The short version is, I am no longer engaged to Usagi Hajime. The long version is, under the influence of an obsidian dagger that is apparently a family heirloom, Hajime-san went a bit crazy and accused my companions of being Kolat and attempting to turn me into a Kolat sleeper agent. He later apologized and agreed to spend some time fighting alongside my Crab companions on the Wall. While I am fairly certain that they are not Kolat, it would explain some...oddities...about them that I've noticed during our time traveling together. I would especially not be surprised if Hiruma Mai-san were a Kolat agent; she seems to have an unusual amount of knowledge about them. A part of me regrets that I will not be marrying Hajime-san, but I am also relieved in many ways, which I'm sure you will understand.

Dear Kuni Toki-sama,


I have interesting news from hare lands. Apparently the son of the Daimyo suffers from the Madness of Lord Moon. He accused myself, Hida Kumo, and Hida Anzu of being Kolat agents. Of course this claim was quickly disproved once a magistrate was summoned, and the boy issued an apology. As usual, the actions of Kumo-san and Anzu-san were exemplary. I commend both of them heartily on their dedication and stalwart attitude.


As part of the boy's apology, he has agreed to spend a month on the wall fighting alongside the crab. If I may, I recommend sending him to Tower Nine. He should see 'appropriate' combat there, as well as being under the watchful eye of the Kuni for any further symptoms of his madness. It is fortunate that his father agreed to send the boy to us, since we are the most experienced in dealing with this affliction.
