Mobile to Desktop Ratio

I was wondering if there is anyway to make the font size of Mobile and Desktop the same. I've sometimes thought that I wrote a good sized paragraph, then others tell me how puny it is

From my understanding, the font size should be the same for mobile and desktop; however, your font size may be set differently on your device. For example, on my Blackberry, I have to adjust the size of the font to what I want. I do this in my settings > display > text size. Another thing you may run in to is that a post may look longer on mobile because the screen is smaller, thus squishing the post in to a smaller width and making it appear longer.

I measure paragraph size in word count, not font size. Perhaps that might help too? =)
